Gon stares in shock at the device on the small creature's head, which now reads 505. "JUST LIKE THAT IT ALMOST DOUBLED!?" he exclaims. The creature floats nearby as Gon questions the number's meaning. Knuckle, standing with arms crossed, replies that the reading is around 180 aura and explains he lent Gon some more. A silhouette figure raises a finger while explaining that 180 aura is a numerical conversion of spiritual energy. Knuckle continues, noting he can tell from Gon's face that the boy is lost. Diagrams appear showing two figures labeled B and A with 5000 and 10000 aura respectively, illustrating how aura is stored inside the body and how maximum aura power differs per individual. Smaller figures demonstrate aura emission levels of 1000 and 200. Gon stands confused with question marks around him as the lesson on training to increase aura continues.

The device now displays 612 as the small creature flies beside Gon. Knuckle points forward, declaring the maximum amount of aura one can emit with Ken at one time is approximately 1800. He calculates that as a novice Gon consumes about 10 aura per second in battle mode, or 600 per minute, and would exhaust his reserves quickly. A large figure stands with hands on hips while Knuckle warns that higher-level techniques increase aura consumption. Gon reacts with intense focus and sweat drops as bold sound effects emphasize the point. Knuckle's hand is shown in close-up with motion lines as he states that Gon used Jajanken four times.

Gon faces Knuckle across the open ground while the explanation of Jajanken's hidden cost continues. "It's the special effect that's the typical result of the risks involved in such a special technique!!" a voice declares. "That's probably a result of the length of your charging time and the fact that you sacrifice your defensive power and concentrate your aura into your fist." Another panel shows Gon mid-strike. "And at the moment you execute Jajanken and shout out 'Jan!' the amount of Nen concentrated in your fist exceeds 2000!! Your AOP is approximately 1800 aura." The narration notes the first three attempts consumed 5500 aura total. On the fourth attempt "Aiko" collapsed just before attacking, bringing the running total to 17500 aura. Knuckle, sweat flying, calculates further: "Although it's scary even to think about it, the calculations come out to you having consumed 4000 aura!! If you consider the amount of aura needed to execute that technique as double of what it was so far... Therefore your maximum potential aura is..." He points forward intensely. "And the amount of Nen consumed does not mean your rock and paper attacks have the same level of effectiveness!! Because it doesn't belong to your natural category, and also because of a lack of training, your paper attack may consume 4000 aura but it can't produce an equivalent amount of power (only about the level of 500 units). Understand?!"

A massive explosion erupts as Gon is blasted backward, limbs flailing. "BOOM" and impact lines fill the panel while Knuckle shouts "Approximately 21500 aura!!" Gon lands hard, coughing "Ugh..." and exclaiming "I didn't expect this kind of attack!!!" Knuckle stands calmly in the background. In close-up Knuckle grins and taunts, "Well, listen carefully punk, I'm just getting to the good part!! Gyahaha! Guess you're pretty bad with numbers." He continues the lecture: "On the other hand, the interest just keeps increasing!! Your aura is just like your bank balance!! The more you spend, the more it'll decrease. When the aura you borrowed from me (including the interest) exceeds the potential aura capacity you have left... You've probably consumed around 2000 aura. It's already been a few minutes since we've begun fighting. You'll be bankrupt!!" A rocket-like meter labeled with Japanese text rises beside Knuckle's face as he declares the looming bankruptcy.

Gon stares up in shock as the small creature Potclean suddenly grows massive, its body expanding with a loud ZO ZO ON. "IT'S HUGE!!" Gon exclaims, but someone immediately corrects him: "NO... THAT'S NOT THE POINT!" Killua points at the creature and shouts "CHECK IT OUT!" while Gon reacts with wide-eyed surprise. A massive digital display flashes the number 1586 amid dramatic speed lines and impact effects. A detailed table tracks the debt's rapid growth over time with 10% interest added each interval, showing the snowballing increase from 505 at 10 seconds up to 1586 at 120 seconds. Knuckle stands with arms crossed, declaring "120 SECONDS TO BE EXACT!!" Gon, perched on the enlarged Potclean, yells in disbelief: "THAT CAN'T BE RIGHT!! IT'S ONLY BEEN TWO OR THREE MINUTES!?" and questions "HOW IS IT THREE TIMES WHAT IT WAS BEFORE!?" A close-up shows Knuckle's intense glare as the debt continues to climb.

Under a starry night sky, the debt continues to pile up even as the aura lent reaches 20,000. A display shows the interest climbing to 1745 while Potclean announces "IT'S TIME." Gon reacts with a strained "UGH." Knuckle's intense close-up declares "BANKRUPT!!" and warns that in 260 seconds the target will be bankrupt. Killua asks "WHAT HAPPENS THEN?" as another display reads 1920. A footnote explains "Toritaten means 'cannot pay back.'" In the final panel, Knuckle explains that after 30 days Potclean will attach itself to the indebted person and transform into Toritaten, shown as a swirling vortex with the small creature and a spiky silhouette nearby. Gon and Killua watch the transformation begin.

Knuckle stands with his back to the viewer, arms outstretched amid crackling aura, addressing Gon who stares up at him with wide eyes and clenched fists. "IN OTHER WORDS, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO USE YOUR NEN AT ALL!" one speech bubble declares. Another reads, "DURING THAT PERIOD, YOU'LL BE IN 'ZETSU' STATUS." FOR MY SAKE..." with "KNuckle," visible nearby and a small "GUL." sound effect.

Speech reveals the debt has risen by thirty after sorting, and Knuckle notes he lent one hundred eighty after receiving one hundred fifty back. Close on Gon, he declares he will not be damaged by the attacks until the debt is paid. The small creature displays rising numbers on its screen, first 2356 then 2142, announcing the interest is piling up and it is time. In a dramatic low-angle spread, Knuckle powers up with arms spread wide amid speed lines and a jagged energy burst, warning that Gon will go bankrupt in four minutes if he does nothing and ordering him to come at him.

Gon and Knuckle clash violently in mid-air; Gon’s fist connects with Knuckle’s face while multiple impact bursts erupt across Knuckle’s torso and arms amid heavy motion lines. Close-ups show Gon’s determined glare and Knuckle’s narrowed eyes and gritted teeth. In the next panel Knuckle stands over a kneeling Gon on the wet ground, one fist clenched at his chest, declaring that after sorting Gon paid back about 100 and therefore this time Knuckle has the upper hand. Gon looks up from below with a strained expression while small sound effects mark the tense moment.

A muscular man glares angrily and declares, "AT THIS RATE, YOU WON'T EVEN BE ABLE TO PAY OFF HALF, PUNK." Nearby, another figure with spiky hair retorts, "YOU'RE JUST PISSING ON A FOREST FIRE." A small device displays rising numbers: first 2245 with the note "THE INTEREST IS PILING UP. IT'S TIME." then 2470. In close-up, narrowed eyes focus intently as a voice states, "I'LL DEFINITELY WIN IF I CAN GET THE DEBT TO INCREASE BEYOND 10,000...!!!" and another adds, "I WON'T LET HIM USE JAJANKEN ON ME." The scene shifts to a dramatic full-page image where Gon stands firmly in the center, a large round Nen beast with wings and a digital display reading 2717 perched on his back. The beast's wings spread wide amid swirling dark energy as speech bubbles repeat, "THE INTEREST IS PILING UP." and "IT'S TIME."

In a dense forest, Gon stands facing a tall man wearing a loose robe and sandals. The robed man walks slowly toward Gon with a calm yet stern expression. Close-up panels show Gon's wide eyes and the robed man's half-lidded gaze. Sound effects punctuate the tension: "Pita", "Suuu", a long "Huuu", and "Biri...". The robed man's posture remains composed as he approaches, while Gon's hair bristles slightly from the pressure. The forest setting is filled with tall trees and dappled light on the ground.

In a dimly lit wooden arena, Gon crouches low in a fighting stance, thinking to himself that his opponent has no idea about his abilities either. Across the arena stands a cloaked figure. Gon reflects that he chose an ability which cannot be initiated unless it inflicts damage, and that in contrast he does not like to cause people harm. He continues that he would only fight against opponents who wouldn't regret hurting. However, the scene shifts to a dramatic full-body view of Knuckle Bine, ponytail flowing, holding a ornate lantern. With a serious expression he declares that there comes a time in which out of respect for his opponent, he must fight with all that he has. He adds that the guys have taught him this lesson.
