Shaiapufu remains motionless, his posture calm and confident as the explanatory text frames his introduction.

A second box recalls that Marcos, just before the plane through which he was going to escape the country arrived, finally gave his code to Morau. At the bottom of the page the figure suddenly bursts apart in a dramatic transformation, body splitting into dozens of dragonfly-like creatures radiating outward with speed lines. Large text reads "Tombo = Dragonfly" beside the explosive SFX "SATELLITONBO*".

Ikarugo, now split into multiple dragonfly forms, flies at high speed through a cloudy sky filled with motion lines and scattered dragonfly silhouettes. One larger dragonfly body carries the tiny original body in the frilled dress. In a close-up panel Ikarugo's face shows intense determination with wide eyes and gritted teeth. Narration notes that despite the risk he made a firm resolution not to leave the palace before finding her. Another box states that from what he was told, Ikarugo knew nothing of Palm. A flashback panel shows a close-up of Ikarugo shouting "MY ALLY!!!" while another voice recalls Palm risking her life alone. Multiple circular speech bubbles declare "PALM IS MY ALLY'S ALLY!!", "WHICH MEANS SHE'S MY ALLY!!", and "I'LL DEFINITELY BRING HER BACK...!!!" as Ikarugo streaks forward with powerful speed lines.

Werefin's face twists in disgust as he sniffs the air. "Is Flutter living in a morgue or something!? What is this stench...!?" A second panel shows him recoiling, "Uuu!" Narration explains that the rotten smell of Flutter, dead for several days, was blunting Werefin's nose. "Shit...it's indistinct, but it's there..." he mutters. Another voice notes, "Other than that...the only other strong scent is that of Brou*, who went down before me..." Werefin wonders if Brouda is with him or if he could have noticed when Flutter said "Hagya-sama." The fact that Brou went down after Flutter means he must have noticed the unnatural behavior. In a wide hallway panel, Werefin freezes, realizing, "Was he watching me from behind!? When I was watching for the intruder...Brouda...which would mean--"

Werefin continues his thought while standing in the hallway near an elevator: "And so the reason he went down ahead of me is so that..." He presses the elevator button. A large thought bubble concludes, "That if Brouda truly is on the intruders' side, then he is keen to the fact that I'm keen to Flutter's unnatural behavior." In the next scene, Werefin lunges forward in a combat stance, striking a grotesque creature with a powerful blow. "He can intercept me!?" the creature exclaims as it is smashed against the wall. "Down there," another voice calls. A close-up shows a pointing hand and Werefin's snarling face in profile.

A fierce wolf-like figure glares forward with intense eyes and bared fangs, sweat visible on his brow as his thoughts race. 'IF I CAN SET HIM UP AS THE PERPETRATOR WHO SET UP THE BOMB PLAN... BIZEF'S TRUST IN ME WILL BE RESOLUTE! FLUTTER IS OBVIOUSLY ACTING SUSPICIOUS...! THIS SHOULD BE MY CHANCE!! SHIT!!' In a damaged ornate hallway below, a small winged creature lies sprawled on the cracked floor amid debris and impact marks. 'THIS IS BAD...IF HE DIED IN THE ASSAULT... THIS WHOLE PLAN WILL BECOME MEANINGLESS.' The wolf-like man sprints desperately down the corridor, glancing back with alarm. 'WHERE'S BIZEF? BIZEF......!!' His thoughts continue: 'IF I DON'T FIND BIZEF FIRST...' Motion lines emphasize his urgent run across the floor.

A massive explosion erupts with blinding light and flying debris as a large cylindrical object hurtles through the air amid heavy motion lines and impact SFX. In the aftermath, Gon and Killua are thrown through the collapsing room, shards of floor and walls scattering around them. Gon lands in a low stance, one foot forward, scanning the destruction. Killua tumbles mid-air nearby. A close-up shows Killua's determined face with narrowed eyes and flowing hair, while Gon's serious expression fills the foreground as both boys charge ahead through the chaos.

Gon perches on the broken ledge at night, staring across at the tall man with curly hair who stands with hands clasped behind his back on the damaged balcony of the ornate building. Killua stands below on the same level, watching the exchange. The curly-haired man turns slightly and says, "yo." A close-up reveals Morau's scarred face with narrowed eyes as he mutters "GRAMPS..." Intense eyes fill the next panel. Gon, eyes wide, thinks "INSIDE...?" Morau's profile appears as he speaks: "JUDGE WHAT'S HAPPENING INSIDE FOR YOURSELVES. WHAT HAPPENS AFTERWARDS IS OF NO CONCERN TO ME. MY JOB IS FINISHED HERE." The word "STRANGE..." lingers near his face.

Zeno flies away into the dark mountainous landscape under a starry sky, his silhouette shrinking as narration states "Zeno slipped into the darkness." Another box reads "Gulping down all he wanted to say." Gon stands alone with a small glowing light orb beside him, his expression serious. From above, Gon and Killua look down at a cracked illuminated floor with debris and a large hole. In the final panel, both boys stand with backs to the viewer, staring at a strange abstract shape on a white surface in the darkness.

A short-haired figure leans forward with a vacant, tilted gaze, one hand raised limply while a grotesque skeletal construct with a black cross on its head dangles from their back, its limbs splayed and twitching. Gon stands amid heavy vertical rain lines, body tense and fist clenched, shouting with a fierce expression. Speech bubbles declare: “IN ORDER TO BRING BACK KAITO, I AM GON FREECSS!!!
