Pariston leans forward with a wide grin, one hand gripping the edge of the platform as he dramatically announces the next candidate. A large jagged speech bubble declares "CANDIDATE MIZAISTOM!" while a massive black SFX "どん!!" explodes across the page. Below, a row of close-up faces from the audience shows shock, confusion, and tension, with sweat drops and wide eyes reacting to the name. In the lower section, Pariston stands at the top of the stairs with his back to the viewer, addressing a massive crowd gathered below. Narration states "AND THAT IS THAT THERE ARE 3 VITAL REQUIREMENTS TO BEING A GOOD CHAIRMAN!!" On the right, Mizaistom appears in close-up wearing his signature hat and goggles, followed by panels showing Leorio and Cheadle. Mizaistom's narration continues: "THERE'S SOMETHING I LEARNED AFTER SERVING AS VICE-CHAIRMAN TO CHAIRMAN NETERO FOR 3 YEARS!!"

Pariston stands with both index fingers raised, delivering a passionate speech. Two large speech bubbles read: "FIRST IS STRENGTH!! THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE NECESSITY BECAUSE OF THE NATURE OF OUR WORK! THE INCIDENT THAT HAPPENED RECENTLY IS CLEAR PROOF OF THIS!!" and "SECOND IS EXPERIENCE!! ONE'S INTELLIGENCE IS INCREASED THROUGH EXPERIENCE!! THE LONGER ONE'S HISTORY AS A HUNTER, THE BETTER!!" In a smaller panel, Pariston gestures while saying "CALI-BER!" and "AND THE THIRD IS..." with Cheadle thinking "MY EMOTIONS START TO BOIL?" and wondering "...WHY...? WHY IS IT THAT WHENEVER HE TALKS..." A wide shot shows Pariston addressing the crowd with speech bubbles stating "OF HIS TRUE FEELINGS..." and "YOU KNOW WHAT, THE HUNTER ORGANIZATION WOULD BE ABSOLUTELY FINE IN HIS HANDS!!!" Cheadle continues thinking about Pariston's hidden emotions. In the bottom row, Cheadle stands alone with multiple overlapping speech bubbles: "I BELIEVE THAT IT CAN BE NONE OF US BUT CANDIDATE MIZAISTOM!", "WHAT'S THE MATTER...? A young woman in an ornate headpiece and glasses stands and declares, 'NOW THEN, WE WILL BEGIN THE CANDIDATE DEBATE!' Another voice replies, 'THANK YOU VERY MUUUCH!' Additional text notes that floating votes meant for Leorio have shifted because of Pariston's speech. Below, a gray panel displays vote tallies: Leorio's votes, Cheadle's votes, Morai's votes, Teradain's votes, Temp Hunters/Executives, Pariston lovers, Mizai's votes, and Pariston's votes. Leorio, Pariston, Mizaistom, and Cheadle comment on the split. The bottom panel shows seated figures including a suited man, a capped man, a girl with glasses, a figure with bunny ears, and a man in a striped suit. One says, 'DURING THIS DEBATE...?' while another thinks, 'IS SOMETHING GOING TO CHANGE...' A close-up shows the glasses-wearing girl glancing sharply.

Leorio sits bandaged with eyes closed, reacting with 'NOC' and 'NOD' sounds. A close-up shows large glasses with the words 'I'LL JUST THINK ABOUT IT MYSELF!!' and 'FINE!!' A small panel depicts a masked figure among a crowd. Mizaistom states, 'LIKE I SAID BEFORE, I HAVE NO INTENTION OF BECOMING CHAIRMAN!!' A young man with light hair replies, 'NO, ME FIRST.' Another voice asks, 'MAY I BEGIN, PLEASE?' The light-haired man continues, 'IN THIS SITUATION, THE ONE WHO IS MOST FIT MUST CARRY OUT THIS TASK!! THAT'S WHAT IT MEANS TO HAVE CALIBER!!' and 'IT'S ABOUT EVERYONE!!' He adds, 'IT'S JUST THAT THIS ISN'T ABOUT YOU, CANDIDATE MIZAI.' The final panel shows him smiling as he says, 'NO, YOU SAID YOU DIDN'T NECESSARILY NOT WANT TO BECOME CHAIRMAN!'

In a tense meeting, the helmeted man snaps at the smiling blond figure, declaring, 'YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SAY THAT...!!!' The blond man grins widely and retorts with two bold statements: 'LET'S STOP PLAYING GAMES, AND LEAVE THIS DECISION TO OUR HUNTERS!!' and 'LET'S STOP BEING SELFISH HERE!!' A black panel states there is no way because all of Leorio's votes are basically floating votes. Close-up eyes behind glasses question why someone is pushing Mizai so much and if he is trying to make it look like they are being greedy to push Mizai into the 2nd spot instead of Leorio. In a grand hall filled with a crowd of silhouetted figures, narration explains Teradain's votes are anti-Zodiac and Morai's votes are completely anti-Pariston; in other words Pariston wouldn't get a single vote. It continues that if Leorio stays the votes shift control over and the votes from Mizai who is obviously anti-Pariston will of course go to Leorio, but if Leorio falls out his votes may go to Pariston. At the bottom the stern man in the hat states, 'THE BEST THING TO DO HERE IS PUSH PARISTON OUT.' The woman with glasses replies, 'YEAH, I UNDERSTAND. UNDERSTAND? ...MIZAI.'

The hat man continues with intense focus, stating he has no proof that the target hasn't lifted a single finger himself but there is a possibility and that is not all. He adds that his intuition as a Crime Hunter is telling him to do something. The blond man leans forward holding a small cylindrical object and declares they cannot let him do as he pleases with the organization any longer, calling the man clearly someone from the dark side of society. A framed document with vertical lines and a small inset picture of a figure with a cross-like symbol appears. Text beside it reads 'JUST LOOK AT WHAT HAPPENED. NOT EVEN CHAIRMAN NETERO...' and below 'COULD KEEP THIS GUY DOWN ...!!!'

In a tense meeting room, three figures discuss their strategy. A man in a black-and-white checkered outfit leans forward with determination. Beside him sits a young woman with glasses and an ornate headpiece, listening intently. Across from them, a man in a pinstripe suit holds a small object to his mouth. "TO COMPLETELY DESTROY THE PARISTON MACHINE ....!!" declares the checkered man. "WE MUST USE THIS ELECTION," replies the suited man. The scene shifts to the voting hall where an attendant explains the process: "ON THE SHEETS WE'VE PASSED OUT, AND THEN DROP THEM INTO THE VOTING BOX!" A rabbit-eared girl in a short dress announces, "PLEASE WRITE YOUR NAME AND THE NAME OF THE PERSON YOU WISH TO VOTE FOR." She continues, "ALRIGHT, THEN, LET'S MOVE TO THE VOTING!" and asks, "ANY OTHER QUESTIONS ?!" From the stage, a large speech bubble addresses the crowd: "THE VOTES WE COLLECT WILL BE IMMEDIATELY CALCULATED BY BEANS, SO PLEASE RELAX UNTIL WE ANNOUNCE THE RESULTS!!" Hundreds of people fill the vast auditorium, moving in orderly lines toward the voting area.

A massive concrete building looms under a cloudy sky, emitting deep rumbling sounds. The structure shakes with heavy vibrations. Inside a dimly lit room, a heavily bandaged figure lies motionless in a hospital bed connected to tubes and monitors. Gon and a dark-haired girl with a headband stand at the bedside. Impact lines and debris fly as the building continues to tremble. Gon leans closer to the bed. The girl reaches out and speaks softly, "HAND." Gon echoes the word, "HAND." A close-up shows Gon’s surprised face with wide eyes and a sweat drop, reacting to the moment.

A hand clutches a grotesque, dripping mass of twisted flesh and tendrils that writhes and oozes dark fluid. Heavy impact lines and splatter marks emphasize the violent grip as droplets fall. In the panel below, Gon stares upward with wide, shocked eyes, sweat flying from his face and a thin dark line trailing down his cheek.

In a vast empty hall, a suited man walks away from a draped object while a lone girl stands facing it. Speech bubbles read "HEAL GON ...!!!" and "PLEASE ...!! IT." A glowing hand appears against darkness, followed by Alluka's smiling face as she replies "'KAY." The final panel reveals Gon lying restrained in a hospital bed as Alluka and Killua approach from behind, the room bathed in dramatic light rays.

Voting percentage stands at 95.4%. In the lower panels, a rabbit-eared girl in a striped outfit reacts with excitement while pointing at a chart, exclaiming that Mr. Leorio has risen into the top spot and that Mr. Pariston has been knocked out of the top spot for the first time. A dog-like suited figure stands nearby as the crowd reacts with scattered onomatopoeia. The scene shows the election proceeding to a final round between the top two candidates.

Beside him, a person in a black-and-white cow-patterned outfit stands silently. I HAVE A FEELING THIS ELECTION IS PRETTY MUCH OVER." The bottom panel zooms in on Pariston's face with intense shading and impact lines as he asks, "WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO DO IF YOU BECOME CHAIRMAN ...!!" followed by "PLEASE TELL ME ONE MORE TIME." The page ends with the note "CH. 333 / END" and a teaser for the next issue.
