A whimsical sky filled with floating creatures and balloons stretches above a checkered path leading to a panda-faced building. The title reads No.172◆Attack of Three Part 3. In a close panel, a muscular man with slicked-back hair pores over an open book, muttering in frustration, 'DAMN... FINDING "LEAVE" IS IMPOSSIBLE.' His hands grip the pages tightly. Nearby, a blond boy turns and calls out 'HEY.' The scene shifts to a group gathered in front of the whimsical building: a spiky-haired boy with an intense glare, a blond youth seen from behind, a long-haired man in a white shirt bearing a black trident-like symbol standing with hands on hips, and a smiling man with glasses and a bow tie looking on.

An injured man with bloodied face and torn clothes pleads desperately, 'OMP. PLEASE, LET ME GO...' while reaching out. Another panel shows a man with glasses shouting 'SPARE MY LIFE!' A large hand reaches forward as a voice demands 'LET ME SEE YOUR BOOK!' In the next sequence, a dark-haired woman inserts a card labeled 'STEAL' into a device, saying 'WE'LL PUT "STEAL" INTO HIS LAST SLOT.' Nearby, the long-haired man holds a book while a voice announces 'NEXT...' and 'OH! WE HAVE AN "ACCOMPANY."' The group examines cards as someone orders 'TAKE ALL THE CARDS THAT ARE ABOVE C RANK.' At the bottom, the whimsical creatures reappear with narration: 'THEN WE CAN USE THIS GUY.' and 'I DON'T SEE HIS NAME...'

A man with spiky hair and glasses grins as he grabs another by the collar. "WE'RE THOSE GUYS," he declares. "THAT'S GOOD," comes the reply. Nearby in the forest, the same man points at a kneeling figure while two others watch. "YEA... I'VE HEARD OF THEM," one says. "DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE BOMB DEVILS?" another calls out. A close-up shows the kneeling man's battered, sweat-covered face. The spiky-haired man jabs a finger forward. "IF YOU DON'T WANT ME TO DIE, THEN BRING ME THE CARDS I NEED. I'VE PUT A BOMB ON YOU! WE CAN KILL YOU AT ANY TIME!" The kneeling man trembles. "Y-YES..." A small teddy-bear-like creature appears as the man continues, "UNDERSTAND? YOU CAN REACH US WITH 'CONTACT' WHEN YOU GET THE CARDS." The spiky-haired man adds, "ONE 'MAGNETIC FORCE' OR TWO 'ACCOMPANY'!" In the forest path, three figures walk away as one says, "ALRIGHT, TIME FOR THE NEXT ONE!" "GIVE US ONE OF THEM AND WE'LL GET RID OF THE BOMB," another demands. The scene ends on walking feet with the words "NEXT UP IS--".
Gensuru continues speaking to a man with a star on his forehead who holds an open book. "NEXT IS USING 'STEAL'..." Gensuru says. The star-marked man replies, "WE FOUND ANOTHER 'ACCOMPANY'!" From a high angle, several figures stand in a moonlit forest clearing as a large speech bubble declares, "LET ME SEE YOUR BOOK!" Gensuru looks surprised. "WELL, WELL..." The star-marked man reacts with "OH?" A close-up shows a different man with curly hair looking distressed, labeled DOBU, TSEZUGERA, BOUTU. The star-marked man clutches his head. "WHAT A SHAME!" Gensuru says while the star-marked man exclaims "OH, NO!" In a dramatic panel, the curly-haired man points forward with wide eyes. "WHAT?" "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" others shout as the star-marked man yells "DISQUALIFIED!" and another figure appears on the right.

A massive BOOM!! echoes across the sky as strange floating objects—a spotted ball on a string, a striped orb, a small bird, and a round bear-like creature—drift above the treetops. In the forest below, a tall man with spiky hair and sunglasses stands with a lit match, declaring he will blow up anyone who looks suspicious. Nearby panels show a wooden structure and a group of figures walking along a forest path. Deeper in the woods, a man with short black hair peers intently through the foliage, sweat on his face, wondering what the hell they are planning.

A man with neatly combed black hair discusses his theory while holding a book. He believes a new team member is supplying spell cards and that the enemy knows about him. In the forest, a large panda-like creature stands near a tree while a cloaked figure waits in the background. The goatee-wearing man explains that the enemy is waiting outside the spell shop to ambush anyone leaving with cards and is interrogating everyone to locate their target, killing anyone who has encountered the group. He notes this tactic kills three birds with one stone by narrowing suspects, obtaining cards, and cutting off supply. Small panels show stern faces of three men listening intently as the plan is laid out, including forcing innocent players to collect cards.

In the forest, two men stand facing each other. One declares "RIGHT!" while the other responds "DOBU." A voice reflects that their movements are based on their own actions and suggests leaving the current location to wait for the next move. Another thinks "HMM..." and realizes "IF SOMEONE HADN'T WARNED ME, I'D PROBABLY BE DEAD RIGHT NOW." A stern man holds up a small device containing a black insect labeled "INSECT SPY (SILENT WORKER)." He and his companion decide to check their cards. Through binoculars they observe that it doesn't look like the targets are leaving the city, accompanied by "VOOP! VOOP!" sounds. The card "96 THE ALL-SEEING SNAKE" is displayed, explaining that feeding the snake a C-rank or above card will make it spit out a copy of "SIGHTVISION." A large spotted snake coils in the foreground.

Close-ups show the spotted snake swallowing the card with a "*SWALLOW*" sound, then biting and spitting with "*BITE*" and "*SPIT*" effects, producing a glowing copy. A character notes "THAT'S QUITE A JUMP." Further panels reveal that the three targets together hold twenty-seven copies of "ACCOMPANY," sixteen of "MAGNETIC FORCE," and two of another card. Observers confirm the targets should be aware of this development. They calculate that at the current rate the targets will gather thirty-six copies of "RETURN" in four or five days. A bearded man states that until the targets collect enough cards they will not move from their location, though their actions remain predictable. In the background a group of men stand together in the woods. Two final panels show sky and clouds with the lines "ONLY 12 DAYS LEFT!" and "IT'S GOING SMOOTHLY."

A massive hand wearing a ring presses down, sweat dripping onto the rocky ground as Gon's booted foot strains beneath it. Gon, upside down and drenched in sweat, flashes a fierce grin and shouts triumphantly. His body twists in exertion while a dark silhouette looms nearby. In tight panels his feet dig into the earth with heavy pressure. Finally Gon lies sprawled on his back, limbs splayed, eyes wide as he gasps in defeat while impact lines and debris burst around him.

A hand with a ring reaches upward against a rocky backdrop as a voice notes the difficulty. Diagrams illustrate channeling Nen through the palm, storing it inside the body, and releasing it as a powerful blast that grows stronger with stored energy. Biscuit appears in the final panel, raising one finger while explaining the precise control required over emission amount, speed, and timing, stressing the need to fully open the Nen gates upon release.

Biscuit stands on a rocky outcrop watching Gon train in the distance. "It's because he hasn't controlled the flow of aura in his body," she notes. Nearby, Gon focuses intensely with hands raised. "It must be really frustrating... Concentrating all your body's Nen in the palm is particularly hard. If you can't control all these, then you'll never harness its attack power!" Biscuit continues observing. "Maybe you should switch him back to level 2 training? There hasn't been any progress in the last ten days!" Killua and Biscuit confer in profile. "If we give up No.75, they would only be two cards short... I'm still not comfortable with the deal. We still have to see how Tsezugera is doing. Ten days is a very long time!" Biscuit turns away as Gon stands with his back to her. "But we still have over thirty cards to collect!" Small figures and motion lines mark the rocky training ground.

Killua and Gon stand side by side looking out over the cliffs. "Hmm, you have a point," Killua says. "Let's work on getting rid of Gensuru first." In the distance Gon walks ahead while Biscuit crouches. "Gon will never agree to that!" Biscuit exclaims. "Can't we steal them from Tsezugera's group?" A massive boulder rests against the cliff wall with two tiny figures at its base. "Not bad..." one says. "Is this good enough?" the other asks. The enormous rock dwarfs the landscape and the distant observers.

Under a star-filled night sky, a large multi-story building sits atop a rocky cliff, its lights glowing against the darkness. Inside, the camera moves through quiet corridors: an empty room with double doors and framed pictures on the walls, followed by a long hallway lined with paintings and statues. In a dimly lit living room, a silhouetted figure sits motionless on a couch facing a large blank television screen. The scene cuts to a close-up of an older man with short hair and a lined face, sweat visible on his skin as he stares intensely off to the side with a tense expression.

Gon and a bearded man examine a small electronic device while standing near a rocky wall. Beside them, Killua's face appears in close-up, drenched in sweat with wide eyes and a strained expression. Tsezugera stands in profile, raising his hand as a swirling aura or smoke emanates from his fingers. An empty panel shows only drifting clouds. A large open binder fills the next panel, displaying dozens of identical cards labeled 'ACCOMPANY'. In the final panel Tsezugera and another man react with satisfaction; Tsezugera declares, 'FORTY-EIGHT COPIES OF "ACCOMPANY!"' while the other states, 'WE NOW HAVE...'

Tsezugera stands on a grassy hill at night, holding up a card with a compass-like design while addressing his group. "OUR GAME OF HIDE AND SEEK. LET'S START..." he declares. Nearby, a subordinate leans in with urgency. "THEY CAN'T ESCAPE US! THEIR COPIES OF 'ACCOMPANY' 'MAGNETIC FORCE' AND 'RETURN' PUT TOGETHER ONLY COMES TO FORTY-FIVE COPIES!" he exclaims. Tsezugera raises the card high and shouts, "TSEZUGERA! USE 'ACCOMPANY'!" A close-up shows sweat on a man's face as he realizes, "THEY'RE ON THE MOVE!" In the lower section, a bearded man with a serious expression watches from the shadows. "IT HAS STARTED..." he mutters. Several of his subordinates in work clothes react with alarm, one pointing forward. "THEY'RE HEADING TOWARD US FAST!" they shout as motion lines streak across the ground.
