Chapter 82

Uvogin’s face fills the first panel as he shouts that the shabby avengers like Kurapika only come for revenge. A small panel shows Kurapika’s feet stepping forward with a 'TAP' sound effect. Uvogin lunges low with a powerful 'FLUUUUU' motion, then delivers a massive uppercut while roaring 'HAAA!!!'. The final panel captures the devastating impact labeled 'BAAM' as debris and motion lines explode outward.

Uvogin unleashes a devastating strike, his massive body surrounded by a massive radial explosion as he yells "TAKE THIS!!" The blast hurls debris outward. Below, Uvogin crouches amid shattered rock walls under a starry sky while a small figure is sent flying high. In the foreground Kurapika crouches with arms extended, chains already forming around his hands as he activates his technique. Large bold lettering proclaims "CHAIN JAIL !!"

Kurapika is hurled through the air by the force of his own technique, body stretched horizontally as the chains wrap tightly around an unseen target. Uvogin’s eyes widen in shock at the sudden restraint. In the next instant Uvogin is sent flying sideways, body twisted, accompanied by sharp impact sounds "TAK" and motion lines labeled "VUOOM".

In a vast rocky chasm, a massive explosion erupts from the ground, sending rocks and dust flying as a distant figure is hurled backward. Kurapika crouches in the foreground, arms raised to shield himself from the blast. Uvogin glares upward with intense focus, thinking, "STILL THAT DAMNED CHAIN..." Multiple rapid strikes land with sharp SFX "ZAT", "HII", and "ZAT" as chains whip through the air. Kurapika stands holding the glowing chain, while Uvogin continues his assault. A voice declares, "I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE TRICK IS, BUT... NORMALLY, YOU CAN'T GIVE OFF NEN LIKE THAT!!" The chain clings tightly with a "Cling" sound effect.

Uvogin launches a powerful frontal punch with the large text "FRONTAL ATTACK!!!" exploding behind him, his fist glowing with nen. Kurapika reacts in the side panels, dodging or bracing as the strike lands. Uvogin follows through with another heavy blow, sending shockwaves. A pained cry "AAH!" bursts from the impact zone. Kurapika watches closely from the edge of the frame, eyes wide.

Uvogin launches a devastating punch that erupts with a massive BAKOUM impact, sending Kurapika flying backward through the air amid flying debris and shockwaves. In the follow-up panels, chains suddenly wrap tightly around Uvogin's massive arm with a sharp CLINK. Kurapika declares, "I GOT YOU !!!" while Uvogin reacts with visible shock. A close-up shows Uvogin's furious glare. In a dark panel, Killua watches from afar with crackling lightning aura. Uvogin then grimaces and shouts, "OUTCH!" as the chain tightens.

Uvogin stares in disbelief, thinking "HE'S GOT SOMETHING ...?" and "HE SURPRISED ME, BEING ABLE TO STAND THAT PUNCH..." while noting "BUT HIS LEFT ARM MUST BE COMPLETELY DESTROYED." Kurapika stands completely unharmed with arms crossed. Uvogin realizes "IMPOSSIBLE" and analyzes that only a Manipulation-type Nen user from the first group could control such a chain with bare hands. Kurapika remains silent and composed. In the final panel Uvogin mutters "THIS PUNCH..." as Kurapika taps the ground.

A stern-faced man glares in profile with intense eyes and furrowed brow. Kurapika stares forward and says, "DON'T TELL ME THAT WAS FULL STRENGTH." Uvogin erupts in booming laughter, "HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!" while flexing his massive frame. He declares with a grin, "SUCH HUMOR! REASSURE YOURSELF, I DIDN'T PUT MORE THAN 20% OF MY STRENGTH INTO IT." From the side Kurapika replies, "THIS TIME, LET'S TRY IT AT 50%." Uvogin towers in the center, muscles rippling, fur pelt around his waist, ready to strike.

Uvogin charges forward in a blur of motion, body low and arms extended. Massive impact lines erupt as he strikes the rocky terrain. A huge 'FOUT' sound effect marks the initial clash. Kurapika appears briefly in the corner, watching the assault. Uvogin swings with tremendous force, creating a swirling 'SHLAX' impact that sends debris flying. The ground cracks under the pressure. In the final panel Kurapika is struck directly, the force exploding outward with a giant 'BAM' as motion lines radiate from the hit.

Kurapika launches a fierce flying kick that connects squarely with Uvogin's face, the impact exploding outward with a massive BAM. Uvogin recoils violently, shouting Ouch! as he is hurled backward through the air. In quick succession, Uvogin tumbles and crashes with a pained Argh! Kurapika lands and immediately presses the assault. The scene shifts to a dark rocky cavern where Uvogin stands amid rubble, arms raised and mouth open wide as he emits a deep Shyrrrrr sound that shakes the surroundings. Kurapika charges forward once more, striking with another powerful blow that sends Uvogin reeling. Uvogin reacts with visible surprise, muttering Huh? while a close-up reveals his intense glare and the words This guy...

Uvogin looks upward in alarm, thinking Above?! as Kurapika descends from above with a powerful strike labeled DOM. Uvogin takes the hit directly, shouting Argh!!! while Kurapika lands another blow that produces an Ouch! from Uvogin. The fight relocates to the cavern floor where Uvogin stands ready at a distance. Kurapika stands with hands behind his back, observing. In the final panels, Uvogin speaks while facing Kurapika, saying But I'm going to regret not having used your NEN to chain you, is that it? Kurapika replies But... while Uvogin adds You're quick...

Uvogin glares with fierce intensity, his scarred face twisted in irritation. "You're making me waste my time," he growls. Kurapika stares back with cold resolve. "Stop this little game with me, it's ridiculous. Fight for real," the blond demands. Uvogin's eyes narrow sharply in close-up. "Since you insist," he replies. In a sudden explosion of power, Uvogin throws his arms wide, his body surging with raw energy as a massive shockwave erupts around him. The sound effect "BAKOUM" blasts across the panel while bold text declares "MAXIMUM STRENGTH!!!!" as Uvogin stands triumphant in his enhanced form.

Kurapika watches with wide eyes, noting the overwhelming presence. "Hmm... such incredible aura..." he murmurs. Uvogin has transformed into a hulking, muscular giant with spiky hair, his body radiating dark energy as he charges forward with heavy steps marked "VUM". His massive fist or foot slams down with tremendous force, creating a huge "BOOOM" impact that sends debris flying. At the bottom of the devastated ground, a tiny figure of Kurapika stands ready amid the destruction.

A small figure crouches amid swirling smoke as the word CAMO-FLAUGE? appears overhead. An enormous explosion suddenly erupts, sending debris flying in all directions. "HE WIPED OUT HIS PRESENCE!!" someone exclaims. "IN"!! another voice cries out. In the next moment Uvogin, the massive muscular fighter clad in fur, charges forward with intense speed while Kurapika runs alongside him in a fighting stance. The sound effect Fiuu trails behind their rapid movement across the smoky battlefield. Speed lines and impact shapes fill the lower panels as the two figures streak ahead.

Kurapika delivers a powerful strike, his fist connecting with Uvogin’s head amid a massive impact burst and radiating speed lines. The enormous onomatopoeia FUUUUUU fills the panel along with large black cross-shaped impact marks. A distant zoom-out panel shows the two tiny figures still clashing far away. Uvogin’s face twists in pain as multiple CRIK and CRAK sound effects mark the damage to his head and body.

Uvogin lunges forward with a massive punch, eyes blazing. "THIS TIME, I GOT YOU EVEN MORE!" he roars. In a small inset, Kurapika is shown mid-dodge as dust falls. "IS IT POSSIBLE YOU SAW FROM THE CORNER OF YOUR EYE THE TINY VARIATION OF FALLING DUST?!" Uvogin continues, "BUT I CONGRATULATE YOU!! THIS ATTACK COULD HAVE SHATTERED YOUR SPINE, BUT YOU DODGED IT VERY QUICKLY!" Kurapika lands and wipes dust from his clothes. "HITTING THE GROUND, YOU RAISED DUST, AND THEN YOU WIPED OFF YOUR PRESENCE BEFORE ATTACKING," he notes. "I RETURN THE COMPLIMENT. I DIDN'T THINK YOU'D MASTERED THE 'IN'." Uvogin declares, "NOBODY CAN STOP MY BIG BANG ATTACK WITH ONLY HIS HANDS!!!" Kurapika leaps into the air and delivers a powerful kick. "HOWEVER..." he says. The impact rings out with "CLANG" and "TANG" as Uvogin is struck, his face twisting in shock. "ZO...!!" Uvogin grunts, eyes wide.

Under a starry night sky, Uvogin is suddenly bound by glowing chains wrapped tightly around his body. Kurapika floats in the air, emitting a bright aura. "YOU UNDERSTAND?" Kurapika asks. "I CAN ALSO USE THE 'GYO'." Large text declares "CHAIN JAIL!!" Uvogin strains against the chains, muscles bulging. In a lower panel, Kurapika stands on the ground and explains, "SO I CAN MAKE IT INVISIBLE, THANKS TO THE 'IN'." A chain materializes with a "TAK" sound. "I MATERIALIZED THIS CHAIN WITH MY AURA, USING THE PROPERTIES OF NEN!" Kurapika states as Uvogin remains restrained against the rocky cliffside.

Kurapika explains his strategy in close-up panels. "THE ATTENTION OF MY OPPONENT WILL BE FOCUSED ON THE CHAIN," he states. "YES, IF I'M SEEN AS A USER OF MANIPULATION NEN WHO OWNS A REAL CHAIN..." Uvogin interrupts with a fierce expression, "BUT, THEN, IF YOU KEEP YOUR CHAIN MATERIALIZED PERMANENTLY..." Kurapika continues, "WHEN I TOLD YOU THAT YOU COULD USE ALL OF YOUR FORCE, MY CHAIN WAS ALREADY AROUND YOUR BODY." He adds, "I'VE JUST PROVED IT." Uvogin retorts, "IT'S TO MAKE IT SEEM LIKE A REAL CHAIN!!" In a dramatic full-page spread, Uvogin transforms into a massive, muscular beast form, roaring as chains whip around him with a loud "CLANG" sound effect. Kurapika looks up from below, declaring "SUCCESS." and "CAPTURE..."

Kurapika stands alone in a full-body pose against a blank background. He wears his traditional outfit with a cross-shaped chest piece and loose pants. His hands are bound with visible chains, one hand slightly clenched. Several black, tail-like appendages extend from his back, curling in different directions. His expression is calm and serious as he faces forward.
