Gon clutches his side, blood visible on his clothes and the ground. 'I'M INJURED?!' he exclaims, staring at the red stains. 'BLOOD?!' he continues in panic. 'WAS I ATTACKED?!' he wonders, scanning the area as motion lines emphasize his disorientation.

The remaining 70% of his power was concentrated in his feet. Genthru thinks to himself that this guy is something else. In a powerful strike, Gon lunges forward and slams his fist into Genthru's chest with explosive force, shouting that the remaining power was used to attack him. Genthru reels from the impact. In close-up, Genthru wonders if Gon is a normal person, analyzing that the attack and this kind of thinking are unusual. He recalls that when using both hands there was very little Nen left to protect the rest of his body, and when using one hand he needs to concentrate enough Nen to shield it.

From a distance, Gon sits on the rocky ground, and Gensuru notes that his left hand is gone while his right is injured. Gensuru concludes that the winner will soon be decided and that he should be satisfied. In a sudden close-up, Gensuru's face breaks into a wide, confident grin. The scene cuts to a dramatic full-page spread of Gon, bruised and sweating, his right arm transformed into a clawed, fur-covered limb. With fierce determination, Gon shouts, "COME ON GENSURU!" and declares, "IT'S TIME TO GET SERIOUS."

The man considers his options: 'IF I USE THIS, THEN I MIGHT BE FORCED TO KILL YOU. IF YOU'RE GOING TO SURRENDER, THEN DO IT NOW.' Gon stands holding the open binder. The man plans to cover Gon's mouth or damage his throat to knock him out. Gon refuses to surrender, declaring it impossible to make him admit defeat. The man says he is going to surrender.
