A bearded man wearing a netted hat crouches on rocky terrain, rifle in hand, declaring that his fleas are a special brand. Nearby, a stern man in a patterned beanie smirks with a low chuckle.

The net-hatted rifleman explains that the power of his airgun is added to the fleas, allowing them to leap two hundred meters. He raises one flea between his fingers while grinning. A massive impact strikes a distant rocky pillar where Gon had stood, the force labeled as practically unstoppable. Gon narrowly evades the strike, hair whipping from the near-miss. An afro-haired observer notes that no wonder the monkey squad could not handle the opponent. Gon, breathing heavily amid jungle foliage, realizes his opponent will maintain constant high-speed movement, making stamina depletion ineffective.

In a dense forest, Gon stands alone amid tall trees and undergrowth, his posture tense as large sound effects rumble around him. A small dragonfly-like creature hovers nearby, thinking "HMM." and declaring "LET'S SEE WHAT THE ENEMY CAN DO." Nearby, a wide-eyed figure with spiky hair reacts with "OH. HE'S GONNA DO SOME- THING." and notes "HE LOOKS LIKE HE'S GOING TO USE SOME KIND OF ABILITY." Gon appears in close-up, his expression focused and serious. A hand is shown in detail. A towering man in a heavy fur-collared coat and netted hat stands balanced on a tall wooden pole, one foot planted firmly while he grips a long staff. Below him, a spiky-haired boy clings to a rocky ledge and stares upward with wide eyes. In the middle distance a gorilla-like creature crouches among jagged rocks and splintered trees as motion lines streak across the scene. The tall figure shifts his weight, the pole creaking under his sandal. Small black impact shapes and debris scatter across the ground beneath the pole. A second small figure is visible farther back, half-hidden by the terrain.

Knuckle grips his weapon and aims toward a dark cave mouth while motion lines and impact symbols burst around him. A close-up shows his face half in shadow as a speech bubble declares the situation a trap. In a smaller panel he calls out, asking if his opponent is still there. The creature is sent sprawling by another heavy blow, its body contorting violently amid motion lines and impact effects.

Gon stares in wide-eyed shock at the vast underground cavern revealed below. An under-ground lake!! he exclaims. The gorilla-like creature, now wearing a green headband, floats nearby and taunts Do you wanna see hell? while the narration states The thing that hides in the darkness of the lake...!! Below them a massive glowing form erupts from the dark waters with a swirling vortex and bright light, the creature declaring THIS IS IT~~~♪ as debris and bubbles scatter outward.
