Attack of Three

A man with glasses and spiky hair discusses strategy with his group. He explains the need for the Crusader's Necklace to verify if cards are fake and notes that it nullifies Clone effects. In the background, several figures stand on a stone wall near trees. The man continues: 'EVEN THOUGH THEY'RE ACTING QUITE ARROGANT AT HIS SIDE.' and 'IF WE TAKE DOWN TSEZUGERA THOSE KIDS WILL AUTOMATICALLY SUBMIT TO US...' Another panel shows the back of Gon's head as he faces the sea. The man concludes that Tsezugera remains a one-star Hunter whose ability is unknown. Further dialogue reveals that exchanging cards with the Crusader's Necklace allows identification of fakes, and that the original One Yard of Coastline user will be revealed. Gensuru walks toward the children while Tsezugera watches with a stern expression, asking 'IS THE ORIGINAL! WHAT THEY'RE AFTER...'

Gon stares intently at the bearded man, who gestures firmly while speaking. "USE THIS WEEK TO HEAL OUR WOUNDS. WE CAN USE THE TIME THEY'VE GIVEN US..." The man continues, his expression serious: "AND ONLY YOU GUYS HAVE A CHANCE OF VICTORY. IF WE WANT TO WIN, THEN BATTLING THEM IS INEVITABLE!" Gon listens with wide eyes as the man adds, "BUT, GON!" In a lower panel the bearded man leans in, voice rising: "YOU WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO LIFT A FINGER AGAINST THEM! IF YOU ACT WITHOUT THINKING, YOU WILL COST YOUR TEAMMATES THEIR LIVES! IT'S THE SAME WITH YOU. AFTER USING UP ALL YOUR ENERGY... IF THEY HAD LISTENED TO YOU AND COME HERE, WHAT COULD THE INJURED KILLUA HAVE DONE AGAINST THEM? WHAT YOU DID BEFORE, WAS EXTREMELY STUPID AND SELFISH!" Gon lowers his head, tears forming, and whispers, "I'M SORRY..."

The bearded man continues planning: "WE WILL BUY A LOT OF TIME. IF WE CAN ESCAPE THEIR 'ACCOMPANY' SPELLS..." He points toward a distant tower: "THEY WILL SWITCH THEIR ATTENTIONS TO YOU. BUT ON THE OTHER HAND, IF WE ELUDE THEM FOR TOO LONG..." In the background, several figures stand together in a clearing, including a spiky-haired boy and a girl in a dress. Killua appears, raising one finger: "NO MORE THAN THAT." The bearded man replies, "WE HAVE ABOUT A WEEK!" A large panel shows a hand holding a note that reads: "NO, EVEN THAT IS OPTIMISTIC. THEY MIGHT COME AFTER US WITHIN THREE DAYS! EVEN THOUGH THEY SAID ONE WEEK, WE DON'T HAVE ANY GUARANTEE..." Killua reacts with shock: "ONE WEEK!" A short-haired man in a jacket points upward and says, "I'M GOING TO TEAM UP WITH TSEZUGERA. WHAT ABOUT YOU GUYS?" Killua answers, "IT'S NOT ENOUGH!" while the short-haired man asks, "WAIT, WHAT ABOUT WHAT WE WERE JUST TALKING ABOUT?"

Gon, Killua, and Biscuit stand together with worried expressions as the bearded man in the jumpsuit addresses them. "THERE'S NO ADVANTAGE TO TEAMING UP WITH THE THREE OF THEM NOW. THE SITUATION HAS CHANGED." He continues, "No, HOLD ON. WOULDN'T IT BE EASIER TO BUY TIME AS A GROUP?" The man explains the risks: "USING ME AS BAIT AND THEN HAVING GON'S TEAM AMBUSH THEM IS NO LONGER A VIABLE TACTIC. THEY'VE ALREADY CONNECTED THE 8 OF US." Raising three fingers he states, "AND ONE GROUP HAVING BOTH OF THESE CARDS IS VERY DANGEROUS. RIGHT NOW GENSURU NEEDS CARDS NO.2 AND NO.75..." The group reacts with surprise. "SMALL FISH?" the man says. "RIGHT NOW HE STILL SEES YOU GUYS AS THE SMALL FISH. THAT'S WHY MY TEAM SHOULD DISTRACT THEM FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. WE'LL ONLY REGRET IT LATER."

Gon reacts with surprise as the bearded man makes his offer. "IF WE ARE SUCCESSFUL, THEN WILL YOU GIVE US NO.75 'LUCKY ALEXANDER'?" he asks. "THREE WEEKS! THAT'S HOW MUCH TIME WE CAN PROVIDE YOU!" The man holds up three fingers while speaking intensely. He adds, "THAT ONLY REFERS TO THE TIME YOU HAVE IF YOU RUN AWAY. NOT SO FAST, YOU JUST SAID WE ONLY HAVE A SINGLE WEEK." The bearded man insists, "BUT WE CAN FOCUS ALL THEIR ATTENTION ON MY TEAM. IF WE ALSO GO ON THE ATTACK, THEN IT WILL BE MORE DANGEROUS..." Gon asks how to obtain the card. The man replies they cannot fulfill the villagers' conditions anymore. In the final panel the group stands together as someone says, "SO THAT'S WHAT YOU MEANT! IF WE PLAY DIRTY, THEN I BELIEVE WE HAVE A GOOD CHANCE IN THIS BATTLE!"

A bearded man with slicked-back hair faces a spiky-haired boy and confirms, "Exactly." The boy replies, "In other words, we have to figure out the rest by ourselves." The bearded man continues, "This amount of time is not enough for Killua to heal his hands, nor is it enough for Gon to take his fighting skills to a new level. Three weeks..." He adds, "I hope you guys can come up with something good in 3 weeks." In a dramatic close-up, the bearded man declares with hand gestures, "When you come up with those words, we will draw them in for a final battle. Our strategy will definitely defeat Gensuru!" He leans forward intensely, stating, "They are the ones who killed over 50 people on GI. If we want to win... Never forget, Gon!" From the shadows, a small girl with a headband and large eyes shouts, "Fighting is the only option!" The bearded man responds with satisfaction, "Excellent! In exactly three weeks, we will begin the operation to destroy Gensuru." In the background, Gon, Killua, and Biscuit stand together on a dirt path as someone affirms, "I understand!"

A massive impact erupts with radiating speed lines and debris as something crashes in the distance. Gon, Killua, and Biscuit stand watching the aftermath. Biscuit states, "It really isn't enough." In the next panel Biscuit, now in a frilly outfit, declares with a clenched fist, "He has to be able to overcome the 'Little Flower' technique! Yes sir!" She continues, "Gon will train with me!" Killua, pointing at himself, adds, "And come up with a strategy to defeat Gensuru's group. Killua will concentrate on healing..." Another enormous impact SFX explodes across the page with heavy motion lines and a bright flash.

In a forest clearing, several figures stand with their backs turned, gazing toward Machi and Nobunaga who kneel amid swirling smoke and debris. A tall figure in a long black coat watches silently from the right. SFX FUFUFUFU punctuates the tense air. Hisoka appears in close-up with a stern expression, joined by a spiky-haired boy. In another panel the boy points upward with a determined look while holding a small object. Hisoka speaks firmly: "WE'LL LEAVE THE NEN REMOVER UP TO YOU." A voice notes, "MACHI AND NOBUNAGA ARE WATCHING HIM." Another asks, "WHERE'S OUR 'FRIEND'?" and replies, "THEY ARE JUST BEYOND THESE TREES."

Hisoka sweats with a spade symbol beside him, declaring, "IF I DON'T DO THIS THEN I WON'T BE ABLE TO FIGHT KURORO. I'M WELL AWARE." Nearby voices state, "ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS GET THE NEN REMOVER TO AGREE. WE WILL PROVIDE ALL THE MONEY YOU NEED..." A bandaged figure stands in the woods. In a circular inset, Machi and others sit at a table eating while a hooded figure serves food. Someone asks, "HE'S THAT ONE. HOW DID YOU FIND HIM?" A seated swordsman yells, "DUMBASS, LIKE WE'D EVER TELL YOU!" while Gon and Killua stand nearby with arms crossed.

Hisoka stares ahead with a star marking on his cheek while a spiky-haired boy and a topknotted man stand nearby. Someone remarks, "I GUESS THAT MUST BE YOUR ABILITY?" Another voice adds, "THE PERSON HIDING IN THAT TREE'S SHADOW!" In a forest clearing, Hisoka sits cross-legged holding a small device, his senses sharpened. He smiles and says, "HEHEHE, I JUST FINISHED A VERY INTERESTING BATTLE." A bearded man replies, "ARE YOU A MONSTER?" and scoffs, "PFFT. HE DIDN'T EVEN USE 'CIRCLE'." Hisoka continues, "MY SENSES ARE HIGHLY ATTUNED RIGHT NOW." Below, a close-up shows a teardrop on Hisoka's face as he thinks, "IF HE DOESN'T SHOW HIS FACE SOON I JUST MIGHT WANT TO KILL HIM...?" and "TO KEEP HIMSELF HIDDEN LIKE THIS." At the bottom of the page, Gon and Killua stand in the woods while a figure with pigtails shouts, "YOU CAN COME OUT!" Someone else yells, "BASTARD."

In the forest, Gon and Killua sit near a large tree while Hisoka stands nearby. A girl in a floral kimono appears and states, "MY 'ZETSU' ..." Someone responds, "NO, IT WAS VERY WELL DONE." The girl asks, "WAS IMPERFECT?" A voice explains, "HISOKA'S SENSES ARE JUST AT A HIGHER LEVEL." The girl continues, "MY NAME IS CARLITO." A man with a topknot says, "SHE'S RYODAN MEMBER NO.4, YOUR REPLACEMENT." Hisoka's profile shows a teardrop as he says, "OH." The girl adds, "I CAN'T SAY HOW I FOUND HIM... BUT YES, IT WAS USING MY ABILITY." At the bottom, the group gathers as the topknotted man warns, "THIS GUY IS CAPABLE OF ANYTHING. YOU SHOULD BE CAREFUL." Hisoka replies with a heart, "YOU LOOK VERY TASTY AS WELL."

Hisoka stands with a spade mark on his cheek and a heart symbol on his forehead, replying calmly. Machi, marked with a diamond, watches him with a serious expression and asks if he will really fight the leader. Hisoka answers that he will fight for his own sake. Machi warns him he is too talkative. In a wide landscape panel, Machi turns away and states she does not care if he dies after the mission. Hisoka calls the talk pointless and questions whether Machi would rather see him or the leader alive. Machi replies that she will answer that after the mission but insists it will never happen. Hisoka declares that if he kills the leader he will hunt Machi down. Machi responds that she would like that, a small smile forming as a tear runs down her cheek.

A group of characters in uniforms stand in a forested area near a large building while discussing their plan. One man notes that without removing the target they cannot use the exchange ticket. Another replies that their target is Gensuru's monopolized Archangel's Breath. A bearded man agrees and states their team will handle it. They acknowledge their chances of stealing the ticket with Thief are low. The group concludes they must at least heavily injure one of Gensuru's men. A close-up shows the exchange ticket card labeled 102 with the description allowing one Archangel's Breath when the card is not at maximum. The men declare that once they succeed the exchange ticket will become an Archangel's Breath. In the final panel the team stares forward with determined expressions as one concludes that all that remains is Lucky Alexander.

In a series of close panels, several team members discuss their next move. One man with a ponytail raises a finger and says, "THAT'LL DEPEND ON THE CONDITIONS TO GET NO.0. BUT LET'S CONCENTRATE ON THE TASK AT HAND!" Another replies, "BUT WHAT IF GENSURU'S GROUP CAN BEAT GON WITHOUT 'ARCHANGEL'S BREATH'?" A third adds, "THAT'S BEFORE GON WILL FIGHT GENSURU." Someone concludes, "IF WE CAN HOLD ON FOR 3 WEEKS, THEN 'LUCKY ALEXANDER' IS OURS." A final voice notes, "ACTUALLY, IT MIGHT NOT GO IN THAT ORDER." The scene shifts to a forest clearing where several pairs of legs in boots stand ready. One person says, "WE'LL BE GOING SOON." Another states, "IT'S TIME." In the large bottom panel, a spiky-haired boy adjusts his glasses while a short-haired girl stands with hands on hips, both facing a distant group of uniformed figures across the grassy field. Heavy breathing SFX "HUFF HUFF" dominates the right side as tension builds.
