IT'S BEEN A WHILE, GON." Killua laughs, "HAHAHA, OH YEAH."

A man in a fur-trimmed hat smiles while holding a Greed Island book and asks what kind of magic was used, noting he almost didn't recognize the boy because of his progress. In a forest clearing, Gon stands with an open book while Killua and Biscuit discuss time remaining. The man remarks that two minutes have passed with only one minute left and mentions having cards 66 Witch's Slimming Medicine and 27 VIP Pass to discuss with companions. Gon asks what they should do. Killua laughs and says he sees. The man asks if they want to trade and suggests moving to the main topic. Killua flatly refuses, questioning why they contacted them after seeing them at the monthly tournament in Antokiba the day before. The man offers to let them investigate with analysis and guidepost, then asks for the numbers of the two cards they hold. He reveals he is in the same town and only visits Antokiba on the 15th of every month for the tournament.

The man warns that if the trade interests him he will reveal which cards he can offer, with fifteen seconds remaining. In the forest the group stands holding books as someone calls out Yo. Gon and the man exchange small cards while the man holds his Greed Island book. The man asks which card Gon wants after showing the VIP Pass. Gon says see ya as the man walks away. In a final panel Gon, Killua, and Biscuit stand together looking forward.

Gon sits with a list in hand, noting the steady progress. "It's a nice gathering pace. In three days, we got seven types of cards!" he says cheerfully. Killua and Biscuit stand nearby as Gon continues, "Of course, there are a few of them, but... We have to hurry! Are there any events in this town to get other cards?" The scene shifts to the three running through a dusty town street. Gon reflects, "I was expecting something a bit less calm. In the end, it went fine. But it was still exciting." At a large slot machine, a voice explains the rules: "You have to get three sevens. Winning on the slot machine... One is..." Inside the crowded game hall filled with rows of machines, Killua leans in and mutters, "Mm... The risk is certainly high... The element of chance is way too high, don't you think?" Patrons crowd around the machines. In the lower panels Gon and Killua examine the situation. Gon says, "BUT IF 'BAD LUCK' COMES OUT ONCE, I'D BE FRIGHTENING...". Killua replies, "AS I THOUGHT, THESE DICE ARE A KEY ITEM IN THIS TOWN." Another voice adds, "WE GOT RAINBOW DIAMOND!!". Gon accepts the card with a simple "OKAY." while the giver states, "THAT'S WHY I'M GIVING YOU THIS CARD, GON." A hand presents the Rainbow Diamond card labeled 79, describing its seven-color shine and 100% marriage-proposal success rate.

Killua reassures everyone: "THERE'S ONLY A FIVE PERCENT CHANCE OF BAD LUCK. AND I'M NOT RISKING MY LIFE..." Gon smiles confidently and declares, "JUST ONE MORE TIME ...!!" while holding a large six-sided die marked with symbols. Biscuit and Killua watch from the side.

A stern man with slicked-back hair and a beret leans forward, cigarette in hand, and warns, "YOU'RE PLAYING WITH FIRE, BOY..." while another bubble adds, "YOU WANT TO PLAY POKER WITH ME, THE KING OF THE CASINO?"
