REASSEMBLING COMPANIONS

Gon, Killua, and Biscuit examine a page in the binder. Someone suggests, "HE MAY EVEN BE DEAD." Another adds, "MAYBE HE LEFT GREED ISLAND." A large black panel displays a list of player names including HUMAN, KUCHI AATO, MUKANAKI, ROBERT, BINOLT, PRASU, KUPE, GORDO LUCIFER, BERUDE, ROMEISU, with one entry marked by a black dot and the note "THERE'S HIS NAME. BUT IT HAS A BLACK DOT." Tsezguerra explains, "WHEN THE LIGHT BESIDE THE NAME OF A PLAYER IS BLACK, HE HAS EITHER QUIT, OR HAS DIED." In a flashback panel, a massive creature lies defeated on the ground as Biscuit reacts with "AH..." and states, "THE ONE WHO DIED BECAUSE HIS STOMACH BLEW UP, IN ANTO-KIBA..." Gon and Killua react with surprise, one asking "DO YOU KNOW JITO?" while holding the binder. Gon looks closely at the open pages and is told, "YOU SHOULD ALSO BE ABLE TO FIND YOUR OWN NAMES IN THE BINDER."

A large screen displays four columns of player names under circular indicators. The leftmost column lists NIGGU, GOREINU, KA SHIT A, SHIHA ERU, KUZUKO, JIT O, PISA KU, ZENJU, POORHAT T O, A BENGA NE, MIKURI, ZET SUKU, REDOUDO, SA KISUKE SOUJI, BISCUIT, DOSUT A, SHEN REI, KILLUA, RAT A ZA, NIPA, ROKOBIA, MA RUMISUT A, NIKKUSU, GENSURU, and ISA KU. The second column shows NOMUDU, A SSAMU, KINSET A, AKA, DOJIRU, MOT ARIKE, PONGO, ZEHO, JIKOUNO, BAISU, ERUBIE MAND, A SUT A, KAZUSURU, RIN, ZORUMAN, RUCHAA T O, MUKANAKI, ROBERT, BINOLT, IT ORASU, RURUPE, KURORO LUCHFER, BERUDE, ROMBSU, and KAKA. The third column contains EVANNA, GIRO, MOZO, SHEDORAN, SUIKKE, NABARE, SABU, BARA, BASUBI, ALAN, DOUSHAN, JIM T IM, RUAPARU, ET OWANE, NICK KYU, SUIHEIRU, IRASEMA, KAVA, ALAN TERAN, AISHA, PATRICE, DOMIT RI, WON HO, RICHARD HAKET T O, and NINA. The rightmost column lists IBONA KA USUKI, JA MES, V IT TORIO, BERUCHI, BURA IA NT O, MICHIROU, OIGEN, YA BIBI, MONT ORU, A MA NA, MANHEIMU, HAN ZE, and WON RI. Below the screen sits a card labeled 1001 STEAL G-200 depicting a large eye, with text stating it reveals all contents of a target player's free slots limited to players previously met within the game. Control buttons and a directional pad are visible beneath the display.

Killua sits at a round table covered with plates and papers, facing a laptop. He recalls waiting for Killua at the starting point upon entering the game. Gon stands nearby as Killua confirms they were hired alongside Kashita, Kuzuko, and Zenju. Gon asks if he can look at the screen. Killua notes there are many other guys with black lights. Gon mentions meeting only a few because he worked with them. Killua states it is not a chance to learn the names of all the guys Battera hired. In a close panel, a man with a scar explains that Sakisuke has high fighting skills though not as high as his own. Another man adds that Gashita and Zetsuku are siblings and the Belamu brothers are famous for their strength but never team up with others. Gon points out that the separation between his name and Nikkusu's are ones they met without noticing. Killua realizes that right after him is Rataza, probably the one who attacked him with a spell. They decide to keep checking the list. Killua warns that the problem is Greed, so he will probably ask for more than they offer. Gon apologizes for only paying attention to the strongest ones. Killua spots Kazusuru next to them and says he is going to be the one to get the Sword of Truth. Gon wonders when they met Asuta and Zeho that early.

Killua, Gon, and Biscuit sit together discussing possible strong players. Killua wonders aloud, 'WHO?' as Biscuit suggests, 'THE PERSON WHO COMES TO MY MIND IS ONE WE HAVEN'T ACTUALLY MET YET, BUT...' Gon adds, 'THOUGH WE SHOULD REMEMBER THE STRONGEST ONES.' Biscuit continues, 'WE'VE EVEN FORGOTTEN WHERE WE MET MOST OF THEM.' Killua replies uncertainly, 'MMM... I DON'T REALLY KNOW...' Tsezguerra appears, hand near his chin, saying 'YEAH... BUT...' while Biscuit reacts with surprise, 'AH...' and addresses him directly as 'TSEZUGERA-SAN.' Tsezguerra explains, 'OF COURSE, IT'D BE DIFFERENT IF WE COULD GET HIS HELP WITHOUT HAVING TO HAND HIM THE CARD, BUT...' and notes, 'BECAUSE HE'S COLLECTED AS MANY CARDS AS BOMBER'S GROUP HAS.' Gon looks puzzled, 'HUH? WHY?' Tsezguerra states his preference, 'IF POSSIBLE, I'D RATHER AVOID HAVING HIM AS A PARTNER.' Biscuit leans in, 'THERE'S A 90% CHANCE THAT HE'S SOMEONE FROM THE RYODAN.' Killua questions, 'HM?' Biscuit presses on about 'THE REAL IDENTITY OF "KUROKO,"' suggesting, 'BEFORE THAT, LET'S CHECK SOMETHING.' Tsezguerra warns, 'BUT THE RISK IS HIGH...' Biscuit concludes thoughtfully, 'MM... THEN WE CAN ONLY NEGOTIATE WITH PLAYERS WE HAVEN'T MET YET, USING "COLLISION"...' while wondering, 'IN THAT CASE, WHY DIDN'T THEY REGISTER USING THEIR OWN NAMES?' Killua mutters, 'BUT ...' and Biscuit recalls, 'THEY CAME TO THE AUCTION... THEY HAVE TO BE THE ONES WHO STOLE THE FIRST JOY-STATION.'

Killua continues the conversation, 'YEAH, BUT THAT'S CAUSE BISCUIT, GOREINU, AND US STILL HAVE A GOAL IN THE GAME.' Biscuit replies, 'MMM... PROBABLY CLEARING THE GAME, DON'T YOU THINK?' while Gon wonders, 'IT'S NOT WEIRD... WE'RE STILL IN THE GAME TOO.' Biscuit questions the goal further, 'IF THE WOULD-BE KUROKO WAS A MEMBER OF THE RYODAN, WHAT WOULD THE GOAL BE?' Killua notes, 'AFTER ALL, THEY STILL WANT TO FINISH...' as Biscuit adds, 'IT'S WEIRD THAT SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO COMPLETE THE GAME WOULD BORROW SOMEONE ELSE'S... NAME.' Biscuit points out, 'IF HE REALLY WANTED TO CLEAR THE GAME, HE WOULDN'T CARE ABOUT USING HIS OWN NAME...' and questions, 'DON'T YOU THINK IT'S WEIRD THAT HE'S STILL IN THE GAME?' Tsezguerra suggests, 'HOW SHOULD WE CHECK THAT?' Killua responds, 'DON'T YOU THINK IT'S SOMETHING WORTH CHECKING SOON?' and states, 'I DON'T KNOW THE CIRCUMSTANCES... BUT I THINK A GOAL OTHER THAN COMPLETING THE GAME.' Tsezguerra examines a card, 'IF HE'S STRONG, AND IS TRYING TO COMPLETE THE GAME, HE MUST HAVE GATHERED A LOT OF CARDS BY NOW.' Biscuit confirms, 'THAT "KUROKO" GUY HAS BEEN IN THE GAME FOR A WHILE, RIGHT?' Tsezguerra uses his ability, 'USING "SIGHT-VISION."' Killua realizes, 'I SEE! IF HE ISN'T HERE TO CLEAR THE GAME, HE WOULDN'T CARE ABOUT COLLECTING CARDS...!'

Gon and Killua examine a card binder while Biscuit stands nearby. They note that the stranger only carries water and food cards and shows no interest in clearing the game. The man with the ponytail states this makes him convenient for their purposes and suggests the stranger may have another goal. They consider inviting him to join their group since he is uninterested in the coastline of one Tsubo. Gon wants to know the stranger's identity and why he is present. Killua warns that if the man is from the Ryodan they will not allow him into the group and will simply ask what he is doing. Gon suddenly blurts out that he wants to ask the stranger directly what he is doing here. Killua calls Gon an idiot for wanting to reveal something important. Gon yells that he is stupid because he wants to know. Biscuit remarks that this is normal. The ponytail man asks if that is okay.

In a small panel Tsezguerra recalls hearing about Gon at the selection meeting and notes that the two kids made him uneasy. Gon stands holding a card and declares they should hurry and do it. Killua agrees and they begin to move. Biscuit sits on the ground watching. A sudden large panel shows Kuroro Lucifer's face with the text Kuroro Lucifer and Accompany On. A massive impact erupts with sharp black lines and radiating speed lines. A shirtless man with long hair stands in the foreground as the attack strikes the ground, sending debris flying. The SFX キィイイン rings out across the blast.

Gon and Killua sprint across a wooden walkway with motion lines and impact marks trailing behind them. A large question mark floats above as they react to something ahead. Hisoka stands shirtless in the foreground, one hand gripping his own arm, and remarks with a heart symbol, 'HERE COME THE UNEXPECTED VISITORS.' He adds with a small diamond, 'MY, MY...' In the distance Gon and Killua continue running while Hisoka notes, 'THAT VOICE...' A small figure standing in shallow water raises one arm and says with a heart, 'LONG TIME NO SEE.' Hisoka's eyes widen in shock as a jagged speech bubble erupts with 'HISOKA?!' Motion lines and exclamation marks emphasize the sudden tension.

Gon and Killua skid to a stop, crouching low with intense expressions and clenched fists. Hisoka turns his back partially toward them, muscles tensed, as a 'Z Z Z...' sound effect appears near his waist. He comments with a club symbol, 'GOING INTO BATTLE STANCE THAT EASILY...' and adds with a heart, 'HEHEHE! OF COURSE...' A close-up shows Hisoka's eyes half-lidded as he says with a heart, 'IT LOOKS LIKE YOU'VE MET A GOOD MASTER.' He continues, 'YOU'VE GROWN UP QUITE A BIT, HAVEN'T YOU?' Below, Hisoka stands at the center of a massive swirling crater filled with impact marks while Gon and Killua watch from the edge alongside another figure.

A tall shirtless man with light hair stands confidently in the darkness, hands on his hips, as Gon and Killua stare up at him in shock. The man smirks and says, "YOU'VE QUICKLY RIPENED INTO DELICIOUS FRUITS..." followed by "AS I ANTICIPATED..." Tsezguerra appears beside them, eyes wide, shouting "DON'T TELL ME THAT THIS GUY IS THE REAL KURORO?!" while Killua protests "NO, THAT'S NOT IT..." and Gon looks confused. Tsezguerra then questions "WHAT'S WITH THIS PERVERT..." In the forest, Tsezguerra stands firm, arms crossed, exclaiming "NO NO NO" as the shirtless man turns and asks "YOU'RE THEIR TEACHER?" Biscuit suddenly drops in from above with a loud "ha!" landing dramatically. Gon, Killua, and Tsezguerra react with surprise as Biscuit cups her cheeks and stares, while the shirtless man glances back and states "I DON'T THINK IT'S HER."

Killua stands with a hand behind his head, asking the shirtless man "WHY DID YOU COME TO GREED ISLAND?" while noting "THERE'S SOMETHING WE WANT TO ASK YOU." The shirtless man replies thoughtfully, considering what they want from him rather than from Kuroro. Biscuit peeks from behind a tree, noting the man has the same scent as her and that she is probably a transformation type. In a forest clearing, the shirtless man stands alone under a large tree, thinking "HM... WHAT TO DO..." while Gon, Killua, Tsezguerra, and Biscuit huddle together in discussion. The shirtless man later states he would like to avoid postponing his fight with Kuroro, noting it could be interesting but the others may try to stop him from obtaining the Nen eraser from the Ryodan. In a close-up, he runs a hand through his hair and declares "I'M SEARCHING FOR KURORO."

In a forest clearing, Gon, Killua, and Biscuit stand together as Biscuit remarks with a spade symbol, "CHEH... I THOUGHT I'D SURPRISE THEM." and "WHAT? YOU ALREADY KNOW? THEN I'LL GO FASTER." A close-up shows Gon and Killua facing a raised hand while text explains "THE NEN KURAPIKA PLACED ON KURORO." and "THERE'S A WAY TO REMOVE..." Biscuit continues, "I REMEMBER THAT SOME OF THE MEMBERS OF THE RYODAN WERE INTERESTED IN THIS GAME." and "I WANT TO INFORM KURORO, THAT'S WHY I'M SEARCHING FOR HIM, BUT I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHERE HE IS..." Gon replies "YEAH." while Killua adds, "I FORGOT HE WAS OUT OF THE RYODAN SINCE THE START..." Biscuit explains, "IF I TOOK HIS NAME, IT'S BECAUSE I WAS PRETTY SURE THEY'D CONTACT ME." and "I THOUGHT ONE OF THEM MIGHT KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT WHERE HE WENT." She concludes with determination, "I'LL DO WHATEVER I CAN IF IT MEANS I CAN FIGHT HIM." followed by "BUT IT'S NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A GOOD NEN ERASER..." and "WELL... KURORO MAY ALREADY KNOW ABOUT THE NEN ERASING..."

The conversation continues as someone notes "YEAH, THAT'S RIGHT." Biscuit, standing with hands on hips, asks "YOU DIDN'T COME HERE JUST TO ASK ME THAT QUESTION, DID YOU?" and states "NOW IT'S MY TURN TO ASK YOU..." Gon and Killua recall Gotto-san's warning that everyone tries to trick you. Biscuit suggests they could have used contact but he wanted to meet them. A group including Gon, Killua, Tsezguerra, and two girls appears; one girl asks "WOULD YOU MIND JOINING US?" while another explains "THE TRUTH IS, WE'RE LOOKING FOR STRONG PEOPLE." Tsezguerra questions "WHY ARE YOU LOOKING FOR STRONG PEOPLE?" and receives the reply "HM? SURE, BUT..."

Killua stands in profile, his silver hair catching the light as he speaks. "Ah, I think you're wrong." Gon and Biscuit react nearby while Tsezguerra crosses his arms and declares, "Hey, wait! I'm against it, isn't he dangerous?" Biscuit shouts back, "Yeah! Biscuit, you don't know that guy!" In a close-up, Killua's large eyes narrow with a knowing smile as he points forward, a jagged speech bubble declaring "He's lying." Beside him, Gon looks up with a determined expression, thinking, "I feel there's something close between he and I." A sharp "niii!" sound effect cuts through the panel. The scene shifts to a wide outdoor view under trees. Tsezguerra stands with his back partly turned, saying, "These guys are strong... I'm a little scared." In the open field ahead, a lone figure stands at a distance while Gon, Killua, and Biscuit (now in her adult form with blonde hair and dark dress) face forward. Biscuit continues, "Actually, our situation is..."
