Facing Morau, a cunning beast!!

A long-haired man with sunglasses grips his weapon and declares they will see who is the one that's cornered. He calls the opponent a laid-back fellow. From the far end of the church aisle a distant figure states that since he is unfortunately an atheist, prayers are self-service. The long-haired man is shown in close-up with the word 'CORNERED' beside him. A sharp 'HU' sound effect cuts across the panel. The long-haired man exhales with a 'PFT.' A massive swirling vortex of energy or smoke erupts in the center of the church, engulfing the space with concentric rings. The small robed figure stands at the bottom of the frame looking up at the vortex, while the long-haired man appears tiny inside the swirling mass.

The long-haired man with sunglasses smirks confidently. "LUCKY ME." He reflects, "HE LURED ME HERE DESPITE KNOWING THAT, HUH?" The lion-man replies, "YOU CAN TRANSFORM THAT INTO VARIOUS THINGS, RIGHT? I HEARD FROM ZITOH." A dramatic close-up of the sunglasses emphasizes the warning: "DO NOT HESITATE TO SHOW THEIR ABILITY...!!!" followed by "GUYS WHO THINK THAT THINGS ARE GOING ACCORDING TO THEIR PLAN..." In a grand hall with arched doors, a distant figure sits slumped near the entrance while the lion-man charges forward gripping a large mace-like weapon. He declares, "BUT I STILL HAVEN'T SEEN ANYONE..." A bold narration box states, "POSSESSING AN ABILITY MORE VERSATILE THAN MY DEEP PURPLE!!" In the foreground the lion-man examines a small electronic device in his hand.

Bold narration declares "A MAN'S WAR." The lion-man continues, "IT'S MORE PROPER TO DEFEAT THE ENEMY BEFORE HE SHOWS HIS ABILITY... BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT IT'S ABOUT..." and "THE MOMENT WE SHOW EACH OTHER OUR ABILITIES...!!!" The long-haired man grins widely, thinking "I'M GETTING TINGLY. IT'S A GOOD FEELING." and "I CAN'T STOP DOING THIS." A small panel shows the long-haired man's back reacting with "!?" while the lion-man sits in the distance. The lion-man appears with headphones, reacting with "oh yaki..." He comments on the enemy's second album being super cool and asks if the long-haired man knows the band Black Planet. The long-haired man, adjusting an earphone, retorts "HEY, HEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Earphones?" Narration notes the uplifting feeling after finishing the album. The long-haired man concludes, "I KNOW."

A fierce fighter with a wild lion-like mane glares while checking a small device. "IT'S GOOD BECAUSE... THE PLAY TIME IS EXACTLY 60 MINUTES. IT'S A CLASSIC." He declares the rules of his ability. In the next instant he thrusts his fist forward and shouts "RENTAL... START!!" A close-up reveals a calm man wearing dark sunglasses whose face is partially shadowed; speech bubbles around him read "I ALWAYS HAVE A HARD TIME..." "I AGREE." "HOW UNFORTUNATE." and "THIS ISN'T GOOD." Below, the two combatants face each other across a cracked, smoky battlefield. The sunglasses man stands ready on the left while the long-haired fighter on the right grips a massive broom-like weapon and thinks, "FIGHTING AGAINST SOMEONE WITH THE SAME INTERESTS..."

The lion-maned fighter now stands in a powerful stance, aura flaring around him in jagged white bursts. He holds a pitchfork in one hand and a tall, surfboard-shaped construct marked with a grotesque face in the other. The sunglasses-wearing man reacts with a sharp "!?" A close-up shows the lion-maned fighter's intense eyes as he yells ""TUBE"!!" and explains, "THIS ABILITY CAN ONLY BE USED ON A RAINY DAY."

Explosive rumbling shakes the chamber as massive stone structures crack and collapse under tremendous force. In the upper panels, a long-haired figure reacts with shock amid the chaos. Below, a determined man with flowing hair stands firm, gripping a large pipe-like weapon. He declares, "MY 'TUBE'... CALLS FORTH WAVES!!" A torrent of energy erupts outward in a blinding radial blast, hurling debris and shockwaves in every direction. The man braces himself at the center of the maelstrom as the unleashed force surges forward like a living tide.

The colossal wave crashes forward with overwhelming momentum. The long-haired opponent is hurled through the air, shouting "WHOA!!" In a smaller panel, the same figure rides the crest of the wave on a surfboard-like object, exclaiming "MY BIG WAVE!! HOW IS IT!? ISN'T IT COOL?" The wave then engulfs Morel's smoke construct entirely. The opponent taunts, "IT SWALLOWED YOUR PATHETIC SMOKE IN ONE GULP!!" Morel is shown being pulled under as the massive wave dominates the scene with violent motion lines and impact effects.

A spiky-haired opponent on a surfboard charges through the water, shouting "HYA HA!!" while the water churns violently. The water's hindering your movement, huh!? A massive splash erupts as the spiky-haired man is struck. Below, a lion-like fighter with wild hair rides a board made of solid smoke, pointing forward with a fierce grin. You'll die a more comfortable death if you don't move, don't you think!? What do you think!? How does my board cut!? The long-haired fighter stares in shock from a close-up panel, eyes wide behind his shades. That's... MY FRIEND'S ABILITY!! In a smaller inset, the same long-haired man sits on the water's surface, exclaiming That's not yours. A tiny panel shows a surprised fish-like creature reacting to the chaos.

The long-haired fighter with sunglasses swings a long staff-like weapon while riding a cloud of smoke, surrounded by heavy impact SFX. A smaller panel shows the spiky-haired opponent tumbling through swirling water. HMPH!! So you can also ride on that smoke. The long-haired fighter's face is shown in profile, calmly observing. HMM, A BOAT MADE FROM SMOKE... In a wide lower panel the spiky-haired fighter now rides a massive smoke boat, trailing clouds and debris as he speeds across the waves. Large stylized SFX burst around the smoke boat's movement.

The fight rages on with fierce motion lines and impact effects. A long-haired fighter leans forward and shouts, "IT'S NOT YOUR ABILITY!?" while another voice cuts in, "DIDN'T I JUST SAY...". In the next panel the muscular lion-man warrior laughs "HAHA!!" and roars, "YOU THINK YOU CAN HANDLE MY WAVES WITH THAT TOO!?". Large lettering declares "ORIGINAL!" and "THIS ONE'S MY...". Below, the spiky-haired fighter is slammed by multiple spear-like projectiles amid heavy speed lines. A close-up profile of a black-haired character reacts sharply with "!!" as the barrage continues.

A massive swirling vortex dominates the page as the lion-man unleashes his technique. Bold lettering inside a black oval reads "TORNAVE!!!". The spiky-haired fighter is caught inside the raging currents. In a small inset a long-haired character grimaces and grunts "NGH". Additional panels show the vortex expanding with debris and motion lines while the spiky-haired fighter struggles against the pull. Japanese sound effects emphasize the roaring wind and impact.

A violent whirlpool rages across the sea as a small figure is violently tossed through the churning water. "WHAT A CURRENT!!" the figure cries out. "GUGH.." follows as the current slams into them. "I CAN'T EVEN TELL UP FROM DOWN!! THIS IS DANGEROUS!!" the voice continues in panic. "I CAN'T MOVE MY BODY AT ALL!!" Heavy SFX "ゴホォォ" fill the air while the tiny silhouette struggles helplessly. Below, a massive vortex spirals downward. Perched on a rocky outcrop above the whirlpool, a large beast-like warrior grips a harpoon and declares, "COMPLETELY SEAL THE ENEMY'S MOVEMENTS WITH THE POWER OF THE WHIRLPOOL... AND FINISH HIM OFF WITH A HARPOON FROM ABOVE!!" The warrior raises the weapon high. "HERE IT GOES!!" the figure shouts as the harpoon is readied for the finishing strike.

The beastman's eye widens in shock with a sharp "!?" as he shouts "TAKE THIS!" and hurls the harpoon downward at tremendous speed. "HE'S... DISAPPEARED!?" the warrior exclaims in disbelief while the harpoon pierces empty air. Narration states that the harpoon, released at the speed of sound, can even penetrate a whale swimming deep in the sea from the sky. "THERE WAS NO WAY OF ESCAPING..." the beastman thinks, yet the next panel shows the small figure has vanished from the whirlpool's center. "IMPOSSIBLE! HIS MOVEMENTS WERE BEING RESTRAINED BY THE WHIRLPOOL." In the final wide panel the beastman stands alone inside a vast arched hall, harpoon in hand, staring across the empty space at a tiny distant silhouette that has somehow escaped to safety.

A small distant figure escapes across the water as narration states, "ALL I DID WAS GO 'HUU' AND EX-HALE." Nearby, someone chuckles, "HE HE." In the next panel a spiky-haired muscular man glares angrily and demands, "HOW THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT?" while an ellipsis lingers beside him. A bold declaration fills the following panel: "I HAVE CONFIDENCE THAT I AM SECOND TO NONE IN THIS ENTIRE WORLD!!" accompanied by a close-up of an open mouth and the added note, "WHEN IT COMES TO LUNG CAPACI-TY..." The scene shifts to show the same long-haired figure rocketing away from a labeled whirlpool, the text reading "AND ESCAPED FROM THE WHIRLPOOL.....!!" while an observer explains, "HE USED HIS BREATH LIKE A JET ENGINE..." A sweating close-up face reacts with wide eyes. In the large bottom panel the long-haired character with sunglasses now stands ready, gripping a massive cylindrical weapon across one shoulder. The character announces, "IT'S MY TURN NOW." An off-panel voice replies, "WELL THEN..." while bold lettering declares "A chance for victory!?" Motion lines and swirling energy surround the figure as the weapon is brandished.
