Hisoka remarks that they have gotten everything worked out now. Chrollo muses about how people whimper "How can this be..." as he gazes down upon them after shattering their knees. A sudden impact erupts at the bottom of the scene with motion lines and debris.

Chrollo Lucilfer holds a small vial and declares that Shalmark's "Black Voice" is an ability that controls people, contrasting it with his own Order Stamp that controls puppets. Although he was unable to animate a corpse, he could animate a puppet copy. From his perspective, there is nothing different between a corpse and a puppet as they are both just immobile masses.

Chrollo commands 'STAND.' as the puppet reacts. In close-up, Chrollo's eyes focus intently. He questions whether the previous owner's head was still attached to its body. For the previous owner, the only criteria for when a puppet ceased to be a puppet seems to be when its head was no longer attached. Suddenly, Hisoka appears in motion, striking the puppet with powerful blows marked by impact lines. Hisoka shouts 'BREAK HISOKA!' while extending his arm toward the puppet, the book still in Chrollo's grasp nearby.

By replacing that order with 'break' instead, the puppet may detach its mind from its body in the worst cases, refusing to acknowledge the order. They might choose extremely inefficient means to accomplish the task, or just intend to kill their target at some point in their life before they die. In the large panel, Hisoka charges forward across the tiered floor toward a puppet copy of himself marked with club and spade symbols. The copy stands ready in a wide stance. Chrollo continues, stating that a puppet's 'parts' can influence how it ultimately carries out its orders. In close-up, Chrollo declares, 'That is the true thrill of "Skill Hunter."' He adds that diving deep into the darkness within an ability's previous owner while making it completely his own is the real appeal. At the bottom, Hisoka grapples violently with a long-haired puppet copy; motion lines and impact effects show the fierce struggle as Hisoka twists and strikes.

OBVIOUSLY, OUR PERSONALITIES AND ABILITIES REMAIN INTACT. IF I TOUCH SOMEONE WITH BOTH HANDS AT THE SAME TIME, WE INSTANTLY SWAP APPEARANCES." The right panel diagrams the hand swap with arrows and faces, labeling the technique "CONVERT HANDS - TRANSFER STUDENT." Hisoka's face appears in close-up, a star marking visible on his cheek, as he realizes his line of sight to Chrollo has been broken exactly as anticipated.

Chrollo's lower body shifts sharply left as motion lines streak across the panel. A voice calls out, "CHROLLO'S MOVING TO THE LEFT!" A sudden "FWSH" marks the speed of the movement. In the next tier, a club-marked fighter with a star on his cheek glares sideways while motion lines slash the air.
