The battle inside Onigashima grows even more chaotic. Big Mom's huge face fills the upper space as she bears down through smoke and falling debris. Someone shouts, "Hey, Nami! What're you doing!?" while the fleeing group realizes, "We've gotta get out of here!! She's not gonna be down for long!!" Another voice warns, "And Big Mom is right there!! We don't stand a chance!!" Below, Komachiyo lies badly hurt, breathing "Huff... huff..." as Nami stands nearby with her Clima-Tact. Usopp, carrying Otama, yells, "Hey, Tama!! Stay with us!! Nami!! She's in bad shape!!" Nami answers while sweating and bruised, "Huff-huff... Running isn't going to solve anything. They won't quit till they've hunted us down!!" She declares, "I don't care about that though. All I care about is putting that woman in her place!!" Usopp cries out, "Otama!! Are you okay?!" while Tama remains limp against him and the danger closes in from every side.

Nami's resolve is noticed from above; Big Mom remarks, "That's some resolve you have." Nami grips her weapon and steps forward despite the wreckage and enemies around her. Nearby, Ulti mocks her with a nasty grin, laughing, "Hahaha!! Does she think twirling that dinky baton is gonna help?!" She calls Nami "Ulti-sama easily outclasses you, cheerleader!!" while Zeus, battered and anxious, reacts with a small "!!" and the doglike Komachiyo remains down. Nami answers with action. Her Clima-Tact whips up a spiraling blast as she calls out, "Tornado!!" The attack gathers a roaring column of wind, marked by the drawn-out sound "Swooooosh!!" and impact cries like "Doom!!" and "Gyaaah!!" It tears across the floor toward Ulti, scattering bodies and debris through the smoke. Nami follows the technique with the forceful cry, "Tempo!!" turning her fear and anger over Otama into a direct strike rather than another retreat.

Ulti smashes through the chaos and clamps back onto Nami, making Nami scream, "Kyaah!" Ulti snarls from close range, "You realize there's no way to escape my grip, right? Now I can finally... cave your skull in!!" Nami cries, "Nami!!!" as Usopp watches in horror. Before Ulti can finish, Big Mom calls her homies in sequence: "Napoleon!!" The grinning sword answers, "Yes, Mama!!" She calls, "Prometheus!!" and the flaming sun replies, "Yes, Mama!!" Then she calls, "Hera!!" and the cloud answers, "Yesss, Mama." Big Mom commands, "Fusion!!" as the three homies combine into a blazing weapon formation. A translator note identifies "Maser Cannon" as an ultimate weapon reference, and Big Mom unleashes the attack with "Maser Cannon!!" A focused beam erupts through the scene with huge impact glyphs and shock marks. Ulti is caught in the blast at point-blank range, while Nami and Usopp stare in stunned disbelief as the overwhelming power crashes past them.

The combined blast detonates through the hall. Enemies gape and shout, "What the--?!" as Ulti is hurled down, screaming "Aaah!!" before crashing into the broken floor with a heavy "Thud!!" Smoke and flames trail from her body while Big Mom's attack line fades across the wreckage. The homies celebrate with pride: Prometheus says, "Ufufu," Napoleon and Hera are beside him, and one of them crows, "Dahaha! We did it, Mama!" Another calls it "A combined attack!!" Around the battlefield, Beast Pirates and other onlookers panic because "Big Mom even took out Ulti-sama!!" Nami and Usopp are still running with Tama, rattled by the fact that their supposed enemy just struck down another enemy. Big Mom, however, has no interest in alliance logic. She coldly says, "That's what you get for laying your hands on Otama!!" A nearby fighter protests, "What the hell?! Aren't we supposed to be allies?!" but Big Mom's rage has already chosen its own side.

Usopp and Nami use the opening to run. Usopp carries Otama while Nami keeps pace, both moving through dust and scattered enemies. Usopp tells Tama, "Sorry, Tama! We can't do anything about that now," and she weakly calls, "Komachiyo..." Nami promises the fallen dog-lion, "We'll come back for him later!!" Usopp tries to comfort himself, saying, "...That was nuts, but at least we're safe now!" and yells, "Hey, Nami!! Let's get out of here!!" Tama answers faintly, "Y... yeah!!" Behind them, Nami suddenly notices the exhausted cloud homie and says, "...Zeus!?" Zeus peeks out with a tiny "..." while Nami looks back in surprise. Zeus perks up and says, "Oh yeah!! Who was that other thundercloud, anyway?" In the lower exchange, Prometheus boasts, "We make one hell of a team, don't we?! There's no way that airhead, Zeus, could've pulled that off!! You and I have better chemistry! Right, Hera?" Hera smiles and says, "Don't get the wrong idea, you silly boys. I was just obeying Mama. Mama created you cause I told her I wanted a girlfriend, you know?" Prometheus blushes "Too bad," while Zeus blurts, "Whaaat?!"

Zeus drifts toward Big Mom and her homies, calling uncertainly, "Mama..." and asking about "Prometheus..." and "Napoleon..." Prometheus, cheerful and tearful, says, "This is such a breath of fresh air," while Napoleon agrees, "That's right--I'm sure the three of us will get along!" Zeus asks, "Who?" and "Who is that?" as Hera laughs "Hehehe--" and Nami notices him from the battlefield with "Oh! Nami!" The reunion turns cruel at once. Zeus approaches, stammering, "S-sorry I'm late!! Ah...!! Mama," but Big Mom looks down on him and says, "Well, well, well!! If it isn't Zeus!!" Hera announces, "I guess we have a new addition!!" and Prometheus adds, "Now that there are four of us, we'll be unstoppable!! Hehehe." Big Mom rejects him completely, shouting, "No, Zeus. Your services are no longer required!!" The tiny cloud freezes under the verdict, with Nami and the others watching as Big Mom discards the homie who once served her.

Big Mom explains Zeus's punishment in front of the others. She says he "almost died earlier and you did nothing, Zeus!!" then snaps, "You're always weighing us down!! We're better off without you!!" Zeus trembles and asks, "Huh?! Mama, what are you saying?" Big Mom turns to Hera and orders, "Hera, go ahead and gobble Zeus up!! You'll grow much stronger once you've consumed his soul!!" Hera answers sweetly, "Hohoho--with pleasure, Mama!!" Zeus panics and pleads in a rush: "If you don't want me, I can just leave!! I'm sorry for all my clumsy mistakes!! I'll never show myself around you again!! Just please, don't kill me!!" Hera grabs him anyway, saying, "Well then, Zeus-senpai, it's time to dig in!!" Zeus screams, "Aaahh!! Stop it!! Mama, please stop her!!" Big Mom coldly says, "You expect me to let you run off with a portion of my soul?! If you're really sorry, embrace your new role as Hera's nourishment!!" Zeus cries, "Mama, please have mercy!" while Big Mom asks Otama, "You understand, right? Otama?" and the child watches in shock.

Big Mom suddenly turns back toward Otama with a possessive smile, saying, "I need to get you out of danger, Otama." Nami and Usopp sprint away with the child while everyone screams: "Kyaah!!! Otama!!" "Waaah!! Big Mom!!" and "Aaah!!" Big Mom advances through the dust, grinning and reaching after them as the sound "Upsy daisy!!" floats over the chaos. Otama, sitting on Usopp's back, tells the huge woman, "Stay right there," and pleads, "Olin-chan, please stop!! They're my friends!!" Nami and Usopp wail, "We're done for!!" as Big Mom shouts after them that "These two are members of the nasty Straw Hat Pirates!!" Nami yells, "Nami!!!" while Zeus, still pinned with Hera nearby, reacts with "!!?" The page makes Big Mom's fractured loyalty clear: she wants to save Otama, but sees Nami and Usopp as enemies who must be separated from the girl.

Zeus breaks down as Nami and the others keep running. Through tears he says, "I'm sorry I tried to kill you earlier! Forgive me, Nami, but you have to die!!" Nami reacts with "Huh?!" and then cuts him off: "Whatever!! We have nothing to do with each other anymore!" Zeus accepts the rejection as deserved. He says, "I was too cowardly to defy Mama! I betrayed your kindness, because I was too busy worrying about my own life!! What I did was pathetic and spineless!!" Crying harder, he adds, "Now it's my turn to be discarded!! ...I'm all alone!! But if this is the end, I don't want to die being hated by everyone!! I understand if you can't forgive me, but please watch..." Big Mom and Hera continue threatening him while he gathers himself. Zeus declares, "This will be my first and last act of defiance!! The least I can do is try and make amends before I die!! Nami, please escape!! I'll trade my life!!" Nami shouts, "Zeus!!" as the small cloud rushes back into danger.

Zeus charges Big Mom, but she simply reaches out and snatches him with a sharp "Snatch." He cries, "Ah! My energy..." while Big Mom drains him, and Nami realizes, "She's ripping out my soul!!" Someone says in disbelief, "What?!" Nami, gripping the Clima-Tact, says, "You really are an airhead!!" as Zeus flails and screams, "Gyaahh!!" Big Mom then offers the stolen power to Hera: "Well then, Hera, eat your fill!!" Hera answers, "Yum," and Zeus tries to give Nami one last chance. He fires off a set of dark thunder balls and says, "Consider these black balls a parting gift!! Eat up and get away, Zeus!!" But the rescue barely functions because he is already weakened; Zeus apologizes, "Sorry! My soul is damaged, so I don't think I'll be able to enjoy my favorite snack..." Hera instead lunges in with "Chow-time!!" and happily says, "Thanks, Zeus-senpai," swallowing the black balls and Zeus's remaining strength as Nami watches helplessly.

Hera glows with stolen power and declares, "Ho-ho-ho--I'm brimming with power now," while Usopp cries in horror, "...!! He got eaten!!" Nami, Usopp, and Otama continue to run through the smoke. Otama calls, "Usuhachi-kun! Onami-chan! We have to run!!" and Nami answers, "Let's hurry!!" Big Mom still calls after her, "Why are you running away from me, Otama? I hate it when people desert me!!" The child answers, "Otama!" as the group flees. Big Mom's mood flips back into murderous anger; she raises her fist and shouts, "Do I have to kill you too?!" Usopp and Nami scream "Kyaah!!" and "!!!" as they scramble beneath her. Suddenly, a new impact hits from the side with a heavy "Punk..." Big Mom turns with "Huh?" as the metal-limbed force crashes into the scene, interrupting her attack before she can crush the fleeing Straw Hats and Otama.

Eustass Kid explodes into the battlefield with a gigantic magnetic arm built from scrap metal, gears, plates, and mechanical debris. Big Mom is caught in the blow as Kid roars the attack name, "Punk Gibson!!" The massive fist slams her down and sends rubble flying, while nearby enemies and allies scream, "Whaaat?!" and "Big Mom was...?!" Nami, Usopp, Otama, and the surrounding figures stare in open-mouthed shock. Kid stands in the wreckage, bloodied and furious, one huge metal arm still assembled at his side. He yells, "Beat it, Straw Hats!" and follows with, "She's my prey!!" Nami and Usopp recognize him at once, shouting, "Kid...!!" and "Captain Kiiid?!" The sudden intervention changes the chase: Big Mom had been seconds from killing the fleeing group, but Kid has claimed the Yonko fight for himself and shoved the Straw Hats out of the line of fire.

The scene shifts to the Skull Dome rooftop. Kaido stands alone, breathing with repeated "Sigh..." sounds, while the sign reads "Skull Dome - Rooftop." He looks down over the battered battlefield and says, "I knew I would wind up like this. You added a new weapon to your arsenal and got cocky..." He reflects, "In a way, humans always cling on to faith. They can't afford to abandon it... and that can be dangerous!!" Kaido admits, "It's been a while since I got this fired up. What a mistake... I should've taken your head as a trophy." The proof of the mistake appears in the huge central image: Luffy, unconscious and bloodied, falls headfirst from the floating island, limbs slack, hat still on, enormous black impact glyphs framing the drop. Kaido says, "If they're not shown proof, their faith in you will never die. Isn't that right?" The closing caption warns, "Luffy falls! What's going to happen to Wano?!" and the page notes "Ch. 1013 / End" and "Break next week."
