VOID

A massive black bird-like creature with multiple eyes and a jagged weapon swoops through the air, "...AWAKEN THY MEMORIES?!" and "FWOOSH". Another voice questions, "AND YET, WHY DOTH NUSHIA...". A close-up eye glares, "HELL IF I KNOW!!". Below, a small horned figure in ornate clothing tumbles through the sky amid smoke and debris. The creature dives after them. Shouts ring out: "DOWN!! DOWN!!", "HAM?", "AH! HE DODGED!", "DOWN THERE!". The small figure plummets toward a distant town while the black creature pursues relentlessly.

The small horned figure crashes violently into a stone pillar, sending a massive shockwave outward. "!!?" flashes as the impact explodes in all directions. The creature's tail and body twist above. Sound effects rumble "ゴゴゴゴ...". Subsequent panels show the figure tumbling through debris, "バキ", "ア...!!". A final panel captures the figure slamming into the ground with a huge dust cloud and the cry "AAAAH!!".

A powerful "POOF" erupts as the small horned figure transforms mid-air into a hulking, muscular form with wild hair and a fierce grin, gripping a massive weapon. The black horned creature looms overhead with swirling patterns. A huge impact "ばしゅん!!!" shakes the panel. The transformed warrior is sent flying backward, "SWISH!!!", limbs flailing as motion lines streak across the page.

A close-up shows a wide, startled eye. In the next instant a massive blade swings down. "SLASH!!" The strike slams into a black-winged creature wearing a skull belt, sending a violent shockwave outward. The horned warrior with flowing curly hair and ornate clothing stands firm, her expression tense. "NNGH..." she grunts, then adds, "BUT I LANDED A HIT JUST EARLIER!!" The creature reels from the blow, black impact shapes and motion lines filling the panel as the force of the attack explodes around them.

The black-winged creature is hurled backward in a huge explosion of smoke and debris. "FWOOSH" The horned warrior's clawed hand reaches forward. Below, the curly-haired fighter pants heavily, "PANT... PANT..." while a swirling vortex forms. "WHOA, THAT WAS CLOSE!!" someone shouts as the creature tumbles through the air, black orbs scattering. Motion lines and impact bursts mark the creature's wild spin across the battlefield.

The curly-haired fighter stretches an arm, calling out "GUM-GUM..." as black spherical projectiles rain down like a homing bomb. "YIKES!! IT'S COMING AFTER ME!!" the horned warrior cries, dodging frantically. The black-winged creature spins in a vortex, launching a barrage. "JET GATLING!!!!!" the curly-haired fighter roars, unleashing a rapid-fire storm of punches that smashes into the creature amid massive explosions and cries of "KYAAA!!" and "UWAAHH!!"

High above, the horned warrior calls down, "OH! SO YOU'RE STILL ALIVE, HUH, LOKI!!" Loki, the massive horned figure, retorts, "I'M ALIVE, YOU MORON!! KFF!!" while laughing wildly, "HO! HO! HO! HO! ...MAJIN!!" A small bear-like warrior yells, "MOVE, RAGNIR!!" and "CRK! CRK! DAMN IT, YOU!!" The curly-haired fighter charges with "ARABESQUE BRICK FIST!!!" Loki counters, "IT'S NOT LIKE I DIDN'T SEE YOUR FIGHT WITH LOKI!!" and declares the previous attack "...WON'T BE IN VAIN!!!" as the battle rages on.

A massive figure with wild curly hair and sharp teeth declares, "...THEN THAT'S WHAT WE'LL DO!!" Nearby, another voice shouts, "LUFFY!! IF YOU WANT TO PROTECT US TO PROTECT THIS GUY..." In the distance, Jinbe is called out as "JINBE!!" A blonde girl stares in shock and exclaims, "THAT'S LUFFY, ISN'T IT! HE'S UP AGAINST THAT GUY FROM BEFORE!!!" She turns and yells, "YOU ALRIGHT?! WHO THE HELL IS THAT GUY?!" A small beaver-like creature cheers, "WHAT A RELIEF!! JINBE, I LEAVE HIM TO YOU!!! HE'S OUR PAL, AFTER ALL!!" The group responds, "ALRIGHT!! WE'LL FOCUS ON HIM!!" The creature snaps back, "WHO'RE YOU CALLING A PAL...?! YOU LITTLE SQUIRT!!" At the bottom of the page, Brook's skull face appears with a grim expression. He states, "YOU THINK HE'S THE COMMANDER OF KNIGHTS OF GOD? I'M SURE THAT'S IT!!!" and continues, "...MORE SHROUDED IN MYSTERY THAN THE WORLD GOVERNMENT. THERE EXISTS NO ORGANIZATION... ...EXCEPT THE FIVE ELDERS. THERE SHOULDN'T BE ANYONE ABOVE THE KNIGHTS OF GOD..."

A close-up of a stern face questions, "GUNKO... WAS IT ORDAINED THAT YON 'ICE' BE SHATTERED...?" Thought bubbles read "GUM-GUM..." and "YON AFRO-HAIRED MAN...!! NAY... IT CANNOT BE!!! CALLING GUNKO... 'PRINCESS SHURI'..." In the next panels, frozen figures lie on the snowy ground as someone asks, "NOW WHAT?! HOW DO YOU SAVE SOMEONE WHO'S FROZEN?" and "THEY WERE FROZEN ONCE?!" Voices call out, "HEY, BROOK!! WE CAN PULL HER OUT NOW!!" and "AH... PRINCESS SHURI!!!" A powerful strike lands with the words "YOU'RE WIDE OPEN BULLET!!!" At the bottom, an elderly giant reacts in panic with "WHAT FATE HATH BEFALLEN GIANT LOKI...? GO!" while a small creature yelps "YAP YAP" and a close-up eye demands, "DIDST THOU NOT WITNESS IT?"

A massive impact erupts with "Poof!!" and the word "STIGMA" as small figures are sent flying amid swirling motion lines and "WOAH!!!" Smaller panels show rapid movement with Japanese sound effects like "バキューン!!!" and "ビシッ" as a dark figure charges forward. A round creature with wide eyes reacts in the chaos. Below, a towering figure surrounded by flames and smoke stands with "THUD" as another panel shows a spinning attack marked "SMOOSH!!" and the cry "YIKES!!!"

Dark panels filled with floating eyes and severed limbs lead into a massive reveal. A colossal horned creature emerges from swirling black energy and smoke, its many eyes glaring as it wields a glowing weapon. The attack is named "BOFU: BLADE OF THE VOID." In a massive splash panel the warrior stands wreathed in black flame-like aura, a circular crest on his cloak, trees splintering around him. The caption reads "THE 'KING OF THE WORLD' WITH AN OVERWHELMING AURA...!!" He shouts, "...THOU WOULDST NOT BE SO FEEBLE!!! WERT THOU JOY BOY..." Smaller panels show the warrior’s face again as he declares, "FROM OVER HERE, TOO. NOW DOTH THE VIEW LIE CLEAR!!"
