The Main Act

Kid says there will not be anything left of Big Mom once he hits her with his trump card, and Law needles him by asking whether the bull attack is followed by a hippo or maybe an elephant. Law's "Puncture Wille" detonates below Onigashima, carving a gigantic hole into the ground beneath Wano. People stare in disbelief and shout, "Wha--?! What the hell is that?!" and "What's with this massive hole?!" Big Mom screams and coughs from the internal blast while Misery closes in. She orders, "Burn him to ash... Misery!!" and the homie answers, "Yes, Mama!!" Law, exhausted and huffing, tells Kid, "Now...!! Eustass-ya!!" Kid, mounted behind his enormous electromagnetic cannon, snaps back, "How many times do I have to say it... Trafalgar?! Don't tell me what to do!!" Even while accepting the opening Law created, Kid refuses to admit he is following orders.

Kid aims his huge electromagnetic cannon at Big Mom. Big Mom, still standing as an Emperor, challenges him: "You think you can take me down?! Give it your best shot!! I am... Big Mom!!" Kid answers from behind the cannon, "That's why I'm gonna finish you off!!" He fires "Damned Punk!!" and the blast slams into her body. As she screams, Kid declares, "Your era... is over!!" The final caption reads "Dragging the Emperors off their thrones!!" with "One Piece Ch. 1039 End" and a translator note explaining that the kanji means "electromagnetic cannon." The chapter ends on Kid and Law's combined attempt to force Big Mom out of the age she represents.
