A few hours earlier on Egghead, York chews and says the situation is "a bit of a pickle." She explains that the World Government is not just after Stella; they are apparently looking to eliminate her too. York says she luckily prepared a contingency plan in case the Seraphim chose to play it this way. She orders them to wipe out all the pests around the lab now that the Frontier Dome is up again, but to spare only Stella, the hostages underground, and York herself. The Seraphim answer, "Understood!" while S-Snake, S-Shark, S-Hawk, and S-Bear receive the traitor's instructions.

York continues her plan. She says that when the Seraphim go rogue, it will surely trigger a "who dunnit" style investigation. If her cover is blown, she will not stand a chance in a fight, so to ensure they do not catch her, S-Snake must get her in front of everyone. York tells S-Snake, "Be sure to free me when no-one's looking!" and S-Snake answers, "Got it." York then adds one more thing: there is an area of the lab she does not want damaged. With that condition set, York says, "Okay then... let the hunt begin!!" and the Seraphim move out into the laboratory to begin the staged massacre.

Back in the present, the Labophase continues to crumble under the Seraphim rampage, and the evacuees hurry toward ships. People shout, "Hurry! Everyone onto the ships!" and "We're getting the heck out of here!" while smoke and debris rise around the island. A Marine or watcher observes the situation as the sky and sea around Egghead fill with movement. The page shows the island from offshore with the Labophase looming above the clouds and the evacuation below, underlining that Sentomaru's warning has taken effect and that ordinary residents are fleeing before the Navy's full force arrives.

At War-Land Elbaf in the New World, the Red-Haired Pirates' allied crews react to the approaching Kid Pirates. One asks why the Kid Pirates are splashing about near Elbaf and whether they have come for their beloved chief. Three allied captains are introduced: Padded-Toe Gerotini of the Puddle Pirates, who says he will not risk himself again and tells the enemy to hop off; Grave Tooth Fugar, head of the Social Club Pirates, whose dentures pop out; and Princess Panicci Purboku of the Bourgeoisie Pirates, who says she hates the enemy's guts. Kid sees the odd fleet and asks, "What the hell?! Are these jokers really with Red Hair?!" Killer warns not to lower their guard because the crews have big names, while Kid says this is supposed to be the New World and he never pulls his punches.

Shanks tells his fleet to retreat, but the allied captains protest, "We won't let them lay a finger on you!" Shanks appreciates the sentiment but says he wants all ships to fall back. The weaker allies complain that he is already heading off even though they only just met up, but Shanks says the big shot has shown up and they have to deal with him. He admits he was just stopping by, but lost track of time catching up with old friends. Shanks says the real reason the allied crews deal with him is because the fleet is notoriously weak; a bunch of them would not have lived this long if not for his flag's protection. The old allies tease him to worry only about Father Time, while the fleet clears a path.

The Red-Haired Pirates prepare for Kid's attack. Lucky Roux says not to sweat it because they can handle this, but someone notes that Kid's head is worth three billion berries and warns not to underestimate the growth of the youngsters. Shanks says Kid looks lively enough and seems up for a fight, then asks whether there is any news on Blackbeard. The reply is no: last they heard, Blackbeard left Pirate Island. Shanks says he was sure Blackbeard would show his face in Wano, while another crewmate says they have some information on Captain Kid. Shanks asks how many ships Kid has now, and the answer is nine, with plenty of faces recognized from the bounty posters on them. Shanks concludes Kid is from the South Blue and has done a lot of rampaging to make it this far.

Kid prepares his giant railgun-like construct, Damned Punk, and says he does not give a damn who he is up against. He shouts, "Eat this! Damned Punk!!" and promises to blast the allied ships down to the ocean floor in ten seconds flat. Shanks sees a terrible future with Observation Haki: the weaker fleet ships are obliterated, people scream, and the attack causes massive casualties. He says Kid is about to do serious damage and that the future he saw is hellish. Shanks immediately orders Dorry and Brogy to get into position and tells everyone to move the ships aside. Killer realizes something is wrong and shouts, "Red Hair...!!" as Shanks launches himself toward Kid before the attack can fire.

Shanks strikes first with the named attack "Divine Departure!!" He crashes directly into Kid's Damned Punk and cuts through the weapon and the crew around it in a single overwhelming blow. Kid's eyes widen in terror as the attack lands, and the enormous double spread shows Shanks slicing through the mechanical cannon and deck with black lightning-like force. After taking the Road Poneglyph rubbings, Shanks turns away and someone calls, "Hey, chief, over here!" Suddenly a huge attack strikes Kid's ship from both sides. The crew screams, "Wait! Something's happening on the island!" and other pirates react with confusion as the sea erupts. The silhouettes and giant scale reveal that Dorry and Brogy have entered the fight. This page bridges Kid's personal defeat by Shanks with the destruction of the Kid Pirates' ship itself, showing that the giants of Elbaf are ready to punish anyone who points a cannon at their home and friends.

On this day in the New World by Elbaf, the Kid Pirate Crew led by Eustass "Captain" Kid, a man worth three billion, is completely eradicated.
