The Tower

An explosion rocks the area as Queen, in his massive brachiosaurus hybrid form with striped armor, is hurled backward amid smoke and debris. A large speech bubble reads "CLATTER!!" while Japanese sound effects show impact. Someone shouts "SOMETHING'S UP WITH SANJI...I!" In close-up panels, Queen grins wildly and wonders aloud, "THAT WASN'T HAKI, WAS ITI I REMEMBER JUDGE MENTIONING SOMETHING BEFORE..." Nearby, Sanji stares in shock with swirling eyes as others react in panic: "HE SHATTERED QUEEN-SAMA'S SWORD!!" and "HOW...I I COULD'VE SWORN THAT BLADE WAS GOING FOR HIS THROAT!!!" Queen continues, "WAS IT ARMAMENT HAKII BUT THAT WOULDN'T EXPLAIN IT...!!!" A large panel shows a diagram of a heart labeled "...HEARTS OF ICE!!" with text explaining "ALL TOPPED OFF WITH... AND ENHANCED PHYSICAL STRENGTH. WITH AN ACCELERATED HEALING FACTOR, ABOUT MAKING HUMANS MORE DURABLE." Sanji appears on the right with a cross symbol near his head.

Flashback panels show a stern man with headphones and another figure, with Sanji thinking, "I DON'T WANT TO BE LIKE THEM... THOSE UNFEELING MONSTERS...!!!" and replying "NO, I..." A small creature on a platform exclaims "WAY TO GO, SANJI, MY BOY!!! YOU BROKE A SWORD WITH YOUR BARE NECK!!!" Back in the present, Sanji charges forward with a furious expression, fist raised, shouting "WHAT'S HAPPENING TO MEI! I NEED TO FIGURE OUT WHAT CAUSED THIS!!" as debris flies and a small creature laughs "MIHAHAHA!" An impact SFX "ズズゥゥン!!" and "ガシャン!!" accompany the motion. In a wide view of the chaotic battlefield with buildings and smoke, Sanji yells "HEY, WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOINGI!" while thinking "AM I GOING TO LOSE MY EMOTIONSI!" and "SANJII! WHAT'S WRONG...I" A voice cries "LET ME THINK FOR A BIT! IF THIS KEEPS UP..." amid more destruction and "わあああああ" sound effects.

Enemies with horns and heavy weapons shout "FILL HIM WITH LEAD!!" "ISN'T HE 'BLACK LEG' SANJII!" "HE'S WIDE OPEN, SHOOT!!" while firing guns. One yells "IT'S A STRAW HAT!!" Sanji mutters to himself as bullets fly. A large horned figure in a "BUTSU YUNA" cloak fires at point-blank range. Sanji is struck and sent flying backward with impact stars and "ガッ!!" SFX, one leg raised. Close-ups show a horned face biting down with "THAT HURT, YOU BASTARD!!" and Sanji replying "HELL YEAH, GOT HI--" before being kicked mid-air. In the chaos, a massive striped creature labeled with Germa markings charges while yelling "MUHAHA, GET BACK HERE AND PUT ON YOUR RAID SUIT!! SHOW ME WHAT GERMA SCIENCE CAN DO!!!" Sanji is sent flying again with "WHAAAA-AAAAATI!" and "UH OH!!" as more impacts and "ズズゥゥン!!" effects erupt around the horned enemies.

On the second floor of the tower, Big Mom looms over a battered Eustass Kid, laughing uproariously. "MAAAMAMA HAHAHA! WHAT'S THE MATTER... YOU GOT A MIGRAINEI!" she taunts as smoke and debris fill the air. "HEY, YOU DON'T LOOK TOO GOOD," another voice adds. Kid lies sprawled on the ground, struggling. Big Mom summons her weapon, "GET HIM, HERA!! NAPOLEON!!" Hera responds eagerly, "YES, MAMA!♡" From below, Kid shouts back, "EUS-TASS-YA!!" as the massive blade swings down amid explosive impact lines and shattered architecture.

Law appears with a surprised "HMMI" as he activates his power. "SHAM-BLES!!" Kid yells in frustration, "WHAT THE HELLI! STOP BEING DEAD WEIGHT!!" while panting heavily, "PANT PANT DAMN IT..." Big Mom is struck by a powerful "COUNTER SHOCK!!" that sends her flying amid crackling energy and debris. She cries out "MAMA!!" as the blast hits. A note explains the "STOLLEN FIRE!!" attack. An enraged figure shouts, "HOW DARE YOU HURT MAMAI!" while Kid groans on the ground, "WEEZ WEEZ..."

Big Mom continues her assault with a spinning "MAMA-RAID!!" attack, her hair and weapon whirling violently amid crashing debris and impact effects. Kid clutches his head in agony, "THROB!! THROB!!" while Big Mom cackles, "MAAAA AAMAMA MAMA!!" Law watches with a calm "HMMI" as the massive strike lands. The scene shows Big Mom's massive form dominating the crumbling floor with swirling motion lines and destruction everywhere.

Kid struggles on the third floor, growling "DAMN IT..." as Big Mom mocks him, "MAAAAA AMAMAMA! HAHAHA!! THIS IS PITIFUL, KID!! YOU LOOK LIKE YOU'LL KEEL OVER ON YOUR OWN AT THIS POINT!!" Kid thinks desperately, "I'VE FINALLY GOT AN OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE DOWN AN EMPEROR... IF I DIE LIKE THIS, MY LIFE AS A PIRATE WOULD BE A JOKE....!" and "THIS IS NO FREAKING HEADACHE, WHAT'S GOING ONI!" Nearby, a sign reads "THIRD FLOOR, KILLER VS HAWKINS." Killer shouts, "KNOCK IT OFF ALREADY, HAWKINS!!" while Hawkins laughs "FAAA FAFA!!" and a voice yells "STOP IT!!" amid a massive "BANG!!" explosion.

Killer laughs wildly, "FAFAFA...!!!" while pleading, "I'M BEGGING YOU TO STOP!!" A voice remarks, "TO THINK YOU ACTUALLY ATE A SMILE FRUIT... YOU REALLY HAVE THE WORST LUCK, KILLER!!" Killer shouts, "PLEASE!! FAFAFA!!" and "HAHA HA." Below, amid rubble and flames, allies yell, "BUT YOU'RE NOT FIGHTING EITHER!!" and "FAFAFA. JUST SHUT UP AND DO WHAT YOU'RE TOLD..." Observers cry, "HE KEEPS BASHING HIS SKULL AGAINST THAT PILLAR, IS HE NUTSI! WHY CAN'T WE HELP YOU FINISH HIM, KILLER-SANI!" Kid, helmeted and bloodied, growls, "YOU CAN HAVE MY LIFE IF THAT'S WHAT IT TAKES!!" while Hawkins stands calmly. A voice orders, "RELEASE KID..." Panicked fighters shout, "WE CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!! THE FIRE'S ALMOST HERE!! WE NEED TO HURRY AND LEAVE BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!"

Kid's allies shout, "STOP GETTING IN HIS WAY!!" and "I BET HE SEES THIS AS HIS CHANCE TO FINALLY SUPPLANT AN EMPEROR... HE SURE DREAMS BIG." A massive kick lands with "KICK!!" as someone yells, "THAT BASTARD IS APPARENTLY FACING BIG MOM NOW. KILLER-SAN!!" Killer retorts, "YOUR SIDE HAS NO CHANCE OF WINNING THIS BATTLE!! YOU ALREADY KNOW THAT'S THE TRUTH, DON'T YOUI!" while stomping. He continues, "TCH... I STILL DON'T MIND IF YOU SURRENDER. I'LL EVEN PUT IN A GOOD WORD WITH KAIDO FOR YOU. YOU CAN ALWAYS CUT ME DOWN WITH THOSE SCYTHES IF YOU'RE SICK OF ME!" A massive figure roars, "THE PATH YOU CHOSE... I SEE THROUGH YOUR WAILING. YOU REGRET IT... IS OBVIOUS TO ANYONE WHO HAS LAID EYES ON THEM!! THE REASON THEIR DOMINION OVER SEAS HAS LASTED FOR SO LONG......THEY CANNOT BE BEATEN!!"

Killer states, "WE'LL SEE WHO MADE THE RIGHT DECISION WHEN THIS IS OVER!!" and "I'LL ACCEPT YOU INTO THE FOLD IF YOU SUBMIT." He adds, "AND WE'RE STILL HERE WHILE YOU PISSED YOURSELF... AND QUIT, FAFA!!" Kid replies, "IT'S ALL OR NOTHING NOW... HUFF, HUFF... I'VE JUST THOUGHT OF A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS FOR YOU." Killer answers, "WELL... I DON'T WANNA HAVE REGRETS EITHER... SO I'M GONNA GIVE THIS ANOTHER SHOT!!" Kid demands, "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUTI! YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND MY POWERS BY NOW!!!" Killer counters, "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUTI! YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND MY POWERS BY NOW!!" and "THAT HAS NO WHERE ELSE TO GOI WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU TAKE DAMAGE..."

Killer's arm is severed mid-swing with "DON...!!" as he screams, "YOU... YOU CUT OFF MY ARMI!! BUT THE DAMAGE SHOULD HAVE..." Kid yells, "UWAAA AAAH!!!" A close-up shows the stump: "...DOESN'T HAVE A LEFT ARM!!!" Killer grins, "THAT WAS THE LAST ONE. CONGRATULATIONS!! HOW MANY MORE LIVES DO YOU HAVEI!" while drawing a card reading "DEATH, UPRIGHT..." and "STRAW MAN'S CARD." He asks, "QUESTION TWO. IF I REMOVE THIS DOLL..." Allies panic, "HAWKINS-SAN!!" and "WHATI!" as the doll is threatened.

Basil Hawkins looms with wild hair and a massive scythe-like weapon, laughing "KYO KYO KYO!!!" as he declares "THE ANNIHILATION CARD!!" and "YOU'RE ALREADY LIVING ON BORROWED TIME. I'M GOING TO FINISH YOU HEAD ON!!" A massive explosion erupts from the left, with panicked onlookers shouting "HE KILLED THE STRAWMAN!!" and "GYAAA AAAH!!!" Killer charges forward in a blur, slashing with "CLAWING GUILLOTINE!!" while Hawkins recoils in shock, eyes wide, screaming "GYEE EEEE EEEEE EEEH!!!" Close-ups reveal a sweating face and the glowing card effect labeled "THE TOWER!" A voice demands "SHOW ME THE RESULT OF THIS BATTLE!!!" while another insists "THE STRAWMAN CAN'T DIE...!!" Narration states "IT'S FATE IS DETERMINED BY THE CARDS... AND IT WILL BE REVIVED!!" as the chaotic clash of cards, smoke, and blades fills the mountain battlefield.

Killer's spinning attack connects as he yells "SONIC BLADE!!" sending Hawkins flying backward amid exploding cards and debris. A desperate voice cries "HAWKINS-SAAAAA!!" while Kid shouts "KIDI!" and questions the situation. Narration boxes explain the card's power: "THE TOWER CARD SIGNIFIES GREAT CHANGE..." "ITS HIDDEN MEANING..." "INDICATES THE OPENING OF A NEW PATH." "AN UPHEAVAL OF THE ESTABLISHED ORDER." Kid grins fiercely, declaring "YEAH. NEVER FELT BETTER..." and calls out "PARTNER!!" Killer responds "GO FOR IT," as the final strikes land. Onlookers cheer "YOU DID IT! KILLER-SAN!!" with "CARVING OUT A NEW FUTURE!!" The page ends on the defeated Hawkins and scattered cards.
