KING OF THE WORLD

Luffy, engulfed in black smoke and flames, reels backward with a pained expression after taking a hit, mouth open wide. A speech bubble says "AH..." and another "HUFF...". Narration notes "LUFFY AFTER JUST ONE HIT FROM IMU...?!". In the next panels, Luffy is sent flying through the air with "HUFF..." and "NRGH... AHH..." while impact sounds "ゴリゴゴゴ..." echo. A close-up shows a wide eye with a serious gaze. Below, a massive horned creature with flaming eyes and dark aura attacks, shouting "GYAH!!!" as it strikes toward a small figure near a large tree. The creature is hurled back violently with huge impact text "ビスッ!!!".

Usopp, wearing a horned helmet, looks shocked and asks "HM? WHAT'S WRONG, USOPP?!" while Nami stands nearby with a worried expression. A panel shows Luffy being struck. In a wide landscape view, Usopp stands with arms raised as smoke and flames rise in the distance; Nami says "IT'S LUFFY..." and Usopp replies "I'M JUST WORRIED IF HE'S GONNA BE ALRIGHT...". A voice off-panel shouts "WHAT?! WHY'RE YOU BEING SO OMINOUS ALL OF A SUDDEN?!". Nearby, a small bear-like creature and others react with concern. Speech bubbles continue: "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU SAYING HE DEFEATED...?!", "GRR!! HEY, FISHMAN!! HUFF... HUFF...", "ALL I CAN SAY FOR SURE IS THAT LUFFY'S HAKI SUDDENLY WEAKENED JUST NOW...!!", "DON'T FORGET HIS OPPONENT DEFEATED A LARGE GIANT, NAMI.", and "OF COURSE HE'LL BE FINE...!!" as Nami looks on anxiously.

Intense action erupts as Chopper in a large form battles alongside others, with impact sounds "GUOH!!", "G'AAAH!!!", and "POOF!". A guard point is declared. Brook appears, shouting "IT IS YOU, ISN'T IT?!" while addressing a skeletal figure. Other panels show concern for Princess Shuri thawing too quickly. Brook asks "TELL ME... ABOUT THAT TIME... WHAT HAPPENED BACK THEN...?" and warns "STAY BACK!! DON'T GET IN THE WAY!!" as a small creature squeaks frantically. A large character grabs Princess Shuri. In another area, Hajrudin carries someone while Chopper is praised. Multiple characters shout in panic as they are carried at high speed, with cries of "KYAAH!!", "UWAAAH!!", and "HAJRUDIN, WE'RE GOING TOO FAST!!" amid motion lines and impacts.

A horned warrior glares furiously as he shouts at the fallen figure. "Hajruin, it's a waste for you to make a stand here!!" The massive black-haired warrior lies sprawled on the rocky ground, bloodied and gasping. Nearby voices cry out in panic: "What did you come here for?!" "You guys will make my injuries worse!" "There's blood everywhere!! This is bad!!" A small creature huddles in fear. In the next panels a bearded giant stares in shock. "Do you really think this is a position they just decided on at the Reverie? Their goal is to totally subjugate Elbaf by force... Even if we rescue the children, it'd be just a temporary reprieve..." He then roars, "But the kids...!!! Go back up Loki!!" Loki, the towering horned giant, struggles violently amid smoke and debris while someone yells "Loki...!!" A long-haired observer questions, "Do you have any idea who that guy is...?!" Another voice adds, "That can't be the whole story, right? That man is likely at the heart of this..."

The battlefield stretches across a devastated landscape as Loki towers with a flaming sword. A voice answers weakly, "Yeah... sort of...!!!" Loki swings the massive blade while declaring, "It seems thou art unable to move... How many slashes can thou endure before perishing?" He identifies his foe: "Monkey D. Luffy...!! Such a detestable name to mu... And yet thou hast two elder siblings who go by different names." The sword pulses with dark energy as Luffy remains pinned and struggling. Loki continues his assault, the blade crackling with flames and life force. Background figures watch from a distant structure while the giant presses his attack relentlessly.

Loki reveals more about Luffy's family while gripping his sword. "And the other is a prominent member of the Revolutionary Army... A brother slain by the Navy..." A massive impact erupts as a horned woman screams "UWAAAAA AAAAAH!!!" The blade strikes with tremendous force, sending shockwaves through the trees. "FRAGARACH!!" reads the impact lettering. The long-haired observer stares in disbelief. "He must be the one that we spoke of..." A close-up shows the woman's intense gaze as she mutters, "What an ill-mannered trio of siblings...!!!"

Inside a grand hall a long-haired man with scars speaks with resolve. "I'll make sure those pops and those soldiers have no regrets!!" Loki looms in the background with his flaming weapon. The scarred man, Shanks, continues, "With this ability... Red-hair mentioned him back then..." Loki demands, "Are you really gonna stand in my way when I want payback for my dad?" Shanks replies, "What are you talking about, red-hair? Hold on, Loki, I know you're angry, but you can't do that now." Loki retorts, "I considered Harald a friend; I'd like nothing better than to avenge him too!!" Shanks warns firmly, "Your priority should be to prepare for war!! But you have to think clearly. The government just attempted to take over Elbaf!!"

Shanks glares with a serious expression as he questions the target. "AND JUST WHO IS THAT? WHO'S YOUR TARGET?" Loki, the horned warrior with wild hair and a black hat, roars with fury. "I'M TALKIN' ABOUT REVENGE ON THE ONES RESPONSIBLE!! THAT'S NOT WHAT I HAVE IN MIND!! THIS IS PERSONAL!! DAD AND THOSE MEN HAVE REGRETS I NEED TO LAY TO REST!! HUH?! A FULL-ON WAR WITH THE WORLD GOVERNMENT?" Shanks reacts with shock, eyes widening. "...IS KING OF THE WORLD!!" Loki continues shouting. "THE ONE WHO TRIED TO USE HARALD... ALL THOSE WORLD GOVERNMENT BASTARDS!!!" In the lower panels, Loki laughs wildly while a figure stands nearby. "EVEN IF YOU MAKE IT TO THE HOLY LAND, THE KING'S POWER IS IMMEASURABLE!! AND THAT'S IF YOU CAN MAKE IT THERE!! HA HA!! IF THERE IS A SECRET 'KING', I CAN JUST TAKE HIS HEAD AND BE DONE WITH IT!! HEY... SHANKS... IT'S OKAY IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME. WHAT ARE YOU SAYING, SHANKS?! THE WORLD GOVERNMENT HAS NO SOLE RULER, IT'D CONTRADICT EVERYTHING THEY STAND FOR... THERE IS SOMEONE WHO MANAGED IT ONCE...!!"

Shanks speaks firmly. "WE DON'T NEED TO RUSH INTO THIS FIGHT JUST YET!!" Loki and a black horned creature react with intense expressions. A flashback shows a castle and a giant figure. "DON'T DO ANYTHING STUPID, LOKI!!" Loki yells back. "I DON'T CARE WHERE THAT PRICK IS HIDING, I'LL DESTROY EVERYTHING IN MY WAY!! SHUT IT ALREADY!! YOU DON'T GET TO BOSS ME AROUND!!" Shanks reflects. "IF THE KING OF THE WORLD REALLY HAS COME OUT TO PLAY... ABLE TO MAKE IT TO HIM...! I WASN'T EVEN... THOSE FEW YEARS I LEFT THE COUNTRY... THIS IS THE PERFECT CHANCE!!"

A massive horned warrior declares with determination. "I'M GOING TO TAKE HIM DOWN! I HAVE NO OBJECTIONS IN THIS CASE! ...OUR FATHER'S ENEMY!!" Nearby, a woman with long hair reacts. "SAY WHAT?! YOU'RE SO SIMPLE MINDED. BUT..." A small rabbit-like creature panics amid chaos. "HUHHHHH!? YOU'RE THE ONE WHO FROZE HER?! HE SAYS HE FROZE HER BECAUSE SHE'S DANGEROUS. CHEEP!! CHEEP!! CHEEP!!! I JUST TOLD YOU NOT TO GET IN THE WAY!! IF THE WORLD HAS A KING, THEN WHAT DO THE FIVE ELDERS SERVE? THIS IS AN UNREAL CONVERSATION..." The rabbit creature stares in shock. "CHEEEP? THIS GIRL... IS LIKE A DAUGHTER TO ME!!" A skull-faced figure adds. "WELL, SHE MAY INDEED BE DANGEROUS, BUT I ASSURE YOU IT'S NOT HER FAULT!! SHE WAS BEING CONTROLLED!!"

Saul stands tall on a cliff. "HOWDY!!! SAUL!" Chopper calls out. "CHOPPER, I WANT YOU TO COME TO THE LIBRARY RIGHT AWAY!!" Robin appears with a surprised expression. "ROBIN!! SOUNDS LIKE THERE'S A LOT OF INTERESTING THINGS GOING ON HERE..." Elsewhere, a warrior with an axe faces an opponent. "APOLOGIES, BUT THIS IS THE NEXT BLADE THOU MUST SUFFER. HUFF... HUFF... OH MY..." A silhouette attacks. "NEXT IS..." The scene shifts to a fierce battle as a horned fighter named Xingtian clashes violently. "XINGTIAN!! HOW UNFORTUNATE, THE THIRD ONE UP IS... ARGH!!"

Explosions rock the battlefield as massive swords clash. A voice cries out the names of legendary blades: "LONGINUS! STIGMA! MURAMASA! TOHU! BOHU!! NEMESIS!" The 19 World Weapons are revealed, all laid to rest long ago. A horned warrior laughs maniacally, "GIHA HA HA HA!!!" declaring himself the "KING OF HELL THREE SWORD DRAGON... 103 MERCIES!!" while striking with overwhelming force. A ship sails through sea clouds near "SEA CLOUD PORT, WESTERN VILLAGE" as impacts shake the area. Roronoa Zoro stands ready, gripping his swords. A narrator recounts the legend: "800 YEARS AGO... THE 19 KINGS WHO FORGED OUR WORLD..." A grand throne room appears with the vow of equality, swords placed around an empty throne. Zoro clashes fiercely, unleashing "GRAM!!" and "DRAGON DAMNATION!!" The horned warrior counters with wild laughter, "GIHA HA HA HA HA!!" as the power that reigns over the world is invoked. Zoro huffs, "THIS IS... THE POWER THAT REIGNS OVER THE WORLD!!"

The brutal exchange continues. The horned warrior roars, "BUH GI GI... AEGAAAHHH!!" as he is struck. A voice declares, "BY THE ARMS THAT CONSTRUCTED THIS WORLD!! THOU SHOULDEST BE HONORED TO DIE..." while another massive blade swings. Zoro stands firm with a serious expression. The horned warrior summons "GRAM!!" proclaiming, "THIS IS THE WEAPON OF HOUSE OF SHEPPARD...!!" A massive impact erupts. In another panel, a close-up shows an intense eye and chaotic strikes. The left wing of the Pirate King arrives amid the fray. Zoro calls out "LONGINUS!" as a new fighter appears, "MEET THE WEAPON OF HOUSE OF RIMOSHIRO...!!" Blades clash violently with debris flying. The chapter ends with "ONE PIECE CH.1189 END BREAK NEXT WEEK".
