Killua sprints at blinding speed across a cracked stone floor, carrying the Pouf clone on his back. The clone clings tightly, hair whipping wildly. Small panels show Killua's shoes kicking up dust, the clone's insect-like wings, and a close-up of the clone's face. A large speech bubble reads "HE'S... REALLY... FAST...!!!!" while another exclaims "FAST...!!!!". The background blurs into black silhouettes and motion streaks as Killua dashes forward with intense determination.

Killua glares with fierce determination, sweat on his face, thinking he can keep this up all night. Across the open ground the spiky-haired opponent stands ready and calls out, asking if this is who Killua is after and offering to play tag all night if he wants. Killua’s eyes widen as he realizes the opponent’s speed is so great that even at full strength catching him will be difficult. Panic rises as he worries the King will arrive if he does not hurry. The opponent’s form blurs into motion while Killua’s thoughts repeat in desperation: what should he do? In the darkness a small silhouette appears, and narration reveals that the opponent has come up with a diabolic plot.

Multiple small clones of the opponent scatter through the air while the main body remains distant. Killua realizes the opponent has split up and cannot be captured at that size, so an attack must be coming. The opponent’s voice declares that this is the perfect spell. Killua charges forward at high speed, his body surrounded by crackling energy and motion lines. He notes that the opponent’s speed and power have dropped so much that Kanmuru is unnecessary, yet he still warns that the attack will not work.

A boy with wild spiky hair glares with fierce determination. He shouts that there is a fatal flaw in the plan and that resistance is futile, demanding surrender. A girl with pigtails responds calmly, telling him not to worry about punishment and asking why he would add to his crimes. She insists the man is lenient and that the King will forgive him. The boy reacts with shock and anger, yelling that the King will turn her into one of his soldiers. She retorts not to make her laugh. In a wide shot the boy carries the girl in his arms while sprinting down a long damaged corridor, motion lines streaking behind them. Speech bubbles urge him to keep running somewhere the King will never find them.

Killua's face shows realization as he recognizes the voice belongs to someone who was with the King. He questions who the speaker's friends are and wonders why the girl is important to the King. The speaker, a figure with butterfly-like wings, declares that for Gon's sake and the mission he cannot let the enemy have her. He announces he will first cast a spell of doubt on the girl's heart. The girl is shown struggling in Killua's grasp amid impact lines and debris. The speaker insists his warped sense of justice will not benefit humanity and that he and the King wish to discuss things with her. Killua shouts to set her free right now as they continue fleeing across broken ground.

Killua cries out in pain as a powerful electric shock courses through his body while carrying the girl on his back. "IT'S LIKE AN ELECTRIC SHOCK!!" he yells. "HEY! WAIT!" he protests as the girl struggles. "PUT ME DOWN!! YOU'RE WEIRD!" she shouts back. Killua grimaces, thinking "THAT BASTARD, WHAT THE HELL IS HE THINKING?" and mutters "LEMME GO." A massive explosion erupts as an unseen voice roars "INSECT!? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?" followed by "LIAR...? YOU BELIEVE THAT INSECT OVER ME!?" and "LIAR!!" The attacker yells "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, YOU IDIOT! I'M HERE TO HELP YOU!!" Killua stares in shock, thinking "UGH... THAT'S RIGHT. SHE CAN'T SEE." and admits "I... DON'T THINK I CAN EXPLAIN...!!" In a burst of speed, Killua dashes forward with the girl, motion lines streaking behind them amid crackling energy and debris.

The attacker laughs maniacally from the shadows, declaring "HEHEHE, IT WAS SO EASY TO POISON HER!!" and "WITH THE GIRL ON YOUR BACK STRUGGLING, YOUR SPEED IS CUT IN HALF!!" Killua reacts with surprise, thinking "...? !?" and "TCH..." A close-up shows Killua's intense glare as he thinks "HE... WAS DEFINITELY AIMING FOR HER, NOT ME." The girl remains on his back as he processes the situation. In a dramatic full-page spread, Killua leaps through the air with the girl, wings of energy or aura flaring around them. He shouts "HE TRIED TO KILL HER...!!!" as they soar against a dark, smoky background filled with motion and impact effects.

In the upper panels, a frantic voice screams from off-panel, 'KEEP MOVING!! KEEP STRUGGLING!! I WILL SAVE YOU!!' while another shouts 'KOMUGI-SAN!! YOU ARE THEIR HOSTAGE!! HE WON'T KILL YOU!!' A close-up shows a masked figure with wild hair yelling 'IF THEY GET AWAY, GOOD!! IF HE STUMBLES AND I CAN KILL THE GIRL, EVEN BETTER!!' Killua's fist surges forward with jagged lightning bolts, the impact sending shockwaves as the long-haired character recoils with a pained reaction, sweat and motion lines emphasizing the force.

Killua extends his electrified hand toward the long-haired figure on an elevated platform and declares, "BUT YOU'RE MADE FROM THE SAME CELLS, YOU MAY BE A COPY, IF I BURN YOU UP, YOU'LL DIE...!" From a high vantage, a massive rectangular structure looms in the barren landscape. A voice declares, "ONCE I GET BACK, THEY'LL BE NO PROBLEM!" Pouf, the tall winged chimera ant with a striped tail, soars upward alongside a tiny winged clone. The clone shouts, "BESIDES, LOOK, MERYEM-SAMA!!" Below them stretches a dense crowd of humans packed at the foot of a towering, flame-like rock formation. The clone gestures dramatically and proclaims, "THIS IS ALL FOR YOU!! THEY ARE ALL YOURS!! STANDING AT THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN OF LIFE AND RULING THE RABBLE WITH YOUR GREAT KNOWLEDGE" while adding, "AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE THERE ARE HUMANS!! HUMANS!!" At the front of the crowd, a character wearing goggles and a wide hat stares upward in surprise and murmurs, "FOR ME...?"

Pouf and the small clone continue flying through dark, swirling clouds. The clone yells with arms outstretched, "IT IS YOUR DIVINE DUTY!!!" and "IS YOUR BRILLIANT DESTINY!!" A vertical panel on the left shows large stylized sound effects. Below, a close-up reveals a crowd of humans looking upward with varied expressions of awe, fear, and shock. Their faces fill the frame as they react to the figures above them.

A close-up shows a helmeted figure gripping their head in pain, thinking there is something else they must do. Nearby, a winged silhouette hovers in the night sky above a barren landscape while a spiky-haired boy stares upward in confusion. The boy mutters that something is wrong. A sudden close-up captures the boy's wide, startled eyes. In the next panels, the helmeted figure questions whether the explosion has confused their memory, while the winged figure wonders what could be more important than uniting all life. The spiky-haired boy shouts in alarm. The sequence ends on an extreme close-up of the helmeted figure's face twisted in agony, declaring that the pain has not lessened.

The helmeted figure explains that the palace was destroyed after the spiky-haired boy left during the fight with the enemy. The boy floats in midair, questioning if the place he usually was has been completely destroyed. The helmeted figure suggests they should go see what remains, hoping something might spark the boy's memory. The boy agrees. In the final panels, the boy lands near rubble and wooden debris, reacting with shock and dismay at the destruction while exclaiming in surprise.

Killua stands with his back to the viewer, one foot planted on a crumpled figure below him. A massive, blinding explosion erupts to the right, sending jagged shards and shockwaves across the panel. Below, Gon stares upward in shock, eyes wide and mouth open, small figures of himself reacting in the background panels. In a close-up, Gon’s face fills the frame as he realizes the truth. “THAT MIGHT BE IT!! THE GUNGI BOARD AND PIECES… MIGHT BE THE KEY TO HIM REMEMBERING….!!” A final panel shows a lone distant silhouette kneeling on cracked ground beneath a brilliant white burst of light. “DID… HE GIVE UP?”

Two blazing starburst panels dominate the top: “AND GET RID OF THEM ALL!!” and “I HAVE TO FIND THEM!!”. The wide central panel reveals a nighttime mountain landscape with a grand castle perched on a hill, surrounded by dense forest. From behind, a long-haired figure with a tail and Gon stand side by side gazing toward the distant structure. Small panels show the long-haired figure’s hair whipping in the wind and Gon’s determined face. “THEY HAVE ARRIVED AT PEIJIN!!” “LET’S GO.” “THERE IT IS.” The page ends with the Hunter × Hunter logo and chapter number.
