REUNION

A vast circular spread of countless photographs covers the ground under dramatic lighting. Killua crouches among the photos while a long-haired figure stands nearby and Gon approaches from the side. In a close-up, Killua is seen picking up a photo beside a bucket. Palm stares with intense eyes. Palm declares, "PUNISHMENT FOR RUINING MY MOOD! PUNISHMENT! PUNISHMENT!!!" She continues, "I'VE DECIDED THAT HE DESERVES TO BE PUNISHED FOR WHAT HE'S DONE." Gon stands in a doorway and asks, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" Palm reacts with "AH?" as the scene shifts indoors.

Gon yells at the top of his lungs, "NO, THAT'S MY LINE YOU IDIOT! GET THE HELL AWAY FROM US!!" Killua immediately fires back, "THIS DOESN'T INVOLVE YOU SO BUTT OUT." Killua then adds with a calmer tone, "WELL, AT LEAST THEY'RE SAFE." Palm glares and snaps, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?? YOU'RE THE ONE BEING UNREASONABLE IN THE FIRST PLACE." Killua turns toward her with a puzzled expression, "...?" Palm stares back silently, "..." In the next moment Killua's bandaged hand clenches as Palm declares, "I WILL ADD TO THAT WOUND." She continues, "I WAS DOING SPECIAL TRAINING! GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT?" Killua questions her, "...HOW'D YOU GET THAT WOUND?" The panel erupts into violent motion lines and impact shapes as Palm strikes.

Killua confidently states, "I CAN DODGE IT EVEN IN MY SLEEP." Palm retorts, "THAT KITCHEN KNIFE OF YOURS IS USELESS." Palm then calls out, "PALM!!" while standing on a moonlit circular platform covered in scattered playing cards. Killua and Gon stand among the cards below. Palm grips the knife tightly, thinking, "...I THOUGHT I GOT YOU." In a sudden close-up Palm's eyes widen in shock with her mouth open wide. The final panel explodes into radiating speed lines as Palm lunges forward with the knife, her long hair and dress flaring dramatically while Killua is sent flying backward.

Killua sprints ahead with Gon close behind as a furious figure chases them across a striped floor. "JUST TRY AND CATCH ME, STUPID IDIOT!!" Killua yells back. The pursuer screams "I'M GONNA KILL YOU!! AHHH!!! KILL YOOOOOOO OOUUUU!!!" and "STOOO OOOOO OOOOO OOOOPP PPP!!!" while lunging forward. Distant panels show the tiny silhouette of the chaser against blinding light. Gon and Killua continue running as they discuss their options. "WE'LL CALL KNUCKLE AND TELL HIM WE'LL MEET KAITO AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION," Killua says. "GO BACK? WE'RE NEVER GONNA SEE HER EVER AGAIN," he adds. Gon replies "HUH!?" and worries "THIS IS JUST GONNA MAKE HER EVEN MORE FURIOUS WHEN WE GO BACK. WE SHOULDN'T DO THIS KILLUA." Killua counters that even though she is not a battle type she could still stab Gon from behind with a kitchen knife. He asks if Gon really wants to get killed and insists he should go back. In a dark night scene under clouds and a crescent moon, Killua shouts at Gon, "YOU! DIDN'T YOU SEE HOW SHE TRIED TO STAB ME WITH HER KITCHEN KNIFE!? DO YOU STILL NOT REALIZE!?" Gon responds "WHA AAA AT?" while Killua laughs "HAHAHA THAT WOULDN'T HAPPEN."

Palm bursts through a grid-like structure with lightning-like impact effects surrounding her. "YOU THINK YOU'VE ESCAPED FROM ME? FOOLISH!!" she yells. Another bubble reads "HOW DARE YOU UNDERESTIMATE ME! HOW DARE YOU! HOW DARE YOU! WOOOO!!" Palm's hair flares wildly as she laughs "HA HA HA HA!" A smaller panel shows a girl in a dress reaching out with the line "I KNOW WHERE YOU ARE NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO!" Palm then appears in close-up, eyes wide and bloodshot, gripping a large fish-like creature with both hands while intense motion lines and onomatopoeia fill the panel.

Two pairs of hands clash and grip each other tightly in the air, scattering droplets and motion lines. A wild-haired figure with wide, furious eyes lunges forward, mouth open in a snarl. The same character leans in close, eyes bulging, and demands, "WHERE IS THAT IRRITATING PUNK BRAT KILLUA HI~NDING?" while adding, "MY CUTE, CUTE MERMAN-SAN..." A small round creature is struck repeatedly, its body jolting with impact SFX. A balloon-like form drifts nearby. In a large panel, a fish-like humanoid creature with bulging eyes points dramatically toward a distant hotel building near a station, declaring, "THE HOTEL... A hand grips multiple knives while another hand swings a blade, accompanied by sharp metallic SFX and a pained "GAH!" A spiky-haired figure with an open mouth laughs maniacally, declaring, "AHAHA HAHAHA HAHAHA!" and threatening, "NO MATTER WHERE YOU RUN TO, I WILL CHASE YOU DOWN AND WIPE YOUR EXISTENCE OFF THE FACE OF THIS EARTH!! DON'T MESS WITH ME!!" while another voice yells, "YOU BRAT, YOU BRAT! YOU BRAT! ALWAYS INTERFERING! GAH!" and "IF IT WEREN'T FOR YOU!! EEEEEVERYTHING WOULD HAVE WORKED OUT JUST FINE!" Close-ups show intense eyes and motion lines. The spiky-haired figure stands covered in embedded knives, blades protruding from their body, while a long-haired figure watches from the side with a neutral expression. In the background, a lone figure walks away from a half-timbered building as a small impact burst appears on the ground.

In an outdoor courtyard, a suited man with glasses stands adjusting his frames while a voice calls out asking where two people have gone. The man, addressed as Novu-sama, identifies that the pair has gone to the Mitsumaru Hotel, the one with an over-lapping three-circle logo. He confirms they received a call from them just now and states they will keep observing the two for the remaining duration. A disheveled girl with wild hair, Palm, appears distressed nearby. Novu questions whether they are capable of dealing with the current Kaito. Palm, looking down, admits she used her ability without permission. Novu reminds her he told her to wait for his instructions in case of an unexpected situation, and Palm responds with a quiet yes.

Palm stares with wide eyes, realizing something obvious as a heart-shaped pupil appears in her close-up. Novu tells her to use her blood only for him, calling it a precious resource that cannot be replaced. Palm declares that Novu-sama is the only one for her. In a city silhouette at night, a figure laughs that it is really nothing. At a restaurant table, Gon and Killua sit eating. A box notes Gon is age 12, blood type B, forced to go out with Palm age 20, blood type A. Killua comments that she said she would let them return to normal only until they return Kaito. Gon notes that was what she said, and that she was dumped without even knowing it happened.

A small silhouette races across a vast, empty plain under a cloudy sky. A thick black bar cuts across the panel. In the next panel a spiky-haired boy sprints at full speed, one foot slamming into the ground and sending up a spray of dust. Below, a wide view shows a barren road stretching toward the horizon with a plume of smoke rising in the distance. Beside it, a close-up reveals a long-haired character with an intense, focused expression, hair whipping across their face. The bottom splash panel widens to show the same road from a low angle: a lone figure stands in the center while an enormous cloud of dust and smoke billows behind them, motion lines streaking forward to convey rapid approach.

An explosive clash erupts as the spiky-haired boy is hurled backward by a powerful strike from a figure wearing a wide hat. Speed lines radiate outward from a blinding impact point while the attacker lunges forward with an extended arm. Large black Japanese SFX “バキ” marks the hit. Nearby, a cat-eared fighter with striped clothing and a tail bounds through the air, moving swiftly. In a close-up, the cat-eared fighter's eyes widen in shock as he stares ahead, a sweat drop visible on his face. Someone shouts, "WHO THE HELL IS THIS GUY...!?" The muscular pompadour fighter recoils from a powerful strike, his body bent backward with an arm raised defensively. The cat-eared fighter is struck, his form blurred by impact lines as he is sent flying. A long-haired fighter with sunglasses appears, gripping a long weapon and swinging it with force while shouting "NOT BAD."
