Gon stares at the cage and wonders if this is what he used to remove his eye. A tall figure explains that damaging the enemy allows imprisonment inside the cage whether the whole body or just one part is affected. The figure warns to be careful. In the courtyard, Gon and Killua walk away from the kneeling long-haired creature. The creature lies sprawled on the stones with torn clothing and dark energy-like shapes around it. Someone notes that even though he cannot use Nen he is still pretty tough.

A powerful hand slams against a cracked surface, fingers splayed as fractures spread outward with a sharp Z sound. Below, a massive explosion of smoke and debris erupts in the center of the scene. A small figure stands amid the blast while Gon, facing away with his back to the viewer, stares intently at the chaos. In the next sequence Gon and Killua appear side by side, both turning their heads sharply toward the right with wide eyes and tense expressions. A heavy curtain hangs on the right, partially parted to reveal a pale arm and leg lying motionless on the floor. The curtain shifts with a GISHYU sound and a small GIT effect as something moves behind it.

A close-up reveals a face with long straight hair, heavily stitched skin, and a single wide spiral eye staring outward with a slack mouth. The stitched person’s expression is blank and unsettling. In the panels below, Killua’s face appears first with wide circular eyes and an open mouth in shock, followed by Gon’s face showing the same startled wide-eyed reaction with sweat drops. Both boys stare toward the stitched face above them.

The next panel shows Kite’s intense glare as he shouts, "THAT YOU'VE HIT ME, KAITO." Gon remains still, then replies quietly, "THAT TIME IT HURT."

Nearby, a spiky-haired fighter and a ponytail man watch intently. The spiky-haired man asks if Gon can use Nen to guard. A masked figure with long hair wonders whether it is acceptable to leave Gon like that. In a separate panel a suited man with glasses observes, "IT CERTAINLY SEEMS LIKE…". Killua, seen from the side, concludes, "…HE MIGHT EVEN HAVE ALREADY FIGURED IT OUT. ON TOP OF THAT… IT'S OKAY… GON WILL FIGURE IT OUT."

Killua watches with a tense expression, sweat on his face, realizing the harsh reality they themselves created. The opponent laughs with a mechanical "HAHA..." while taking the hits, declaring that Kaito's punch hurts a lot more than this and that Kaito is not this weak. In a dramatic close-up, Gon stares intensely with aura radiating outward, warning 'WATCH OUT.' He adds that touching the creature will make it attack again. A ponytail-wearing fighter apologizes, explaining they had no choice but to deal the appropriate damage. Killua, appearing battered, questions how they stopped him.
