Nobody Important

The chapter title "CHAPTER 1024: NOBODY IMPORTANT" appears at the top. An overwhelming Conqueror's Haki shakes the floor as characters react in panic. Usopp, dressed as Usohachi the Beast Hunter, stands triumphantly on a defeated opponent and shouts, "AFTER ALL, I TOOK DOWN TWO OF THE FLYING SIX!! THEY CALL ME USOHACHI, THE BEAST HUNTER!!" and "...TO CRUMBLE BEFORE ME!". Nearby voices cry, "HEY!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU GUYSI!", "IS THIS CONQUEROR'S HAKII!", and "AN OVERWHELMING PRESENCE!!". Below, Franky, Nami, and others react in shock: "HEY! DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON WITH LUFFY, FRANKYI!", "THEY'RE BEING KNOCKED OUT BY MERE ECHOES OF HER CONQUEROR'S HAKI!!", "THIS MUST BE HAPPENING BECAUSE BIG MOM IS FIGHTING ON THIS FLOOR...", and "WHAA-!! TWO OF THEMI!". A threatening voice declares, "SURRENDER NOW AND I'LL PERMIT YOU TO JOIN OUR CAUSE!!".

Chaos continues across floors. Nami shouts, "BUT I CAN'T GET A HOLD OF HER EITHER!" while another replies, "I BET MOMO'S WITH SHINOBU-CHAN." A masked figure yells, "LAST UPDATE I GOT WAS WHAT MOMO-NOSUKE SAID EARLIER!!" and "NO IDEA!!". Below, characters flee as someone screams "RUN!!" and "BUT A BUNCH OF ENEMIES KEEP TRYING TO STORM THE LIVE FLOOR!!". A voice answers, "IF YOU'RE DONE UPSTAIRS, MEET ME DOWN HERE!!" and "NO NEWS IS PROBABLY GOOD NEWS!!". In the lower panels, a fighter declares, "YOU CAN'T START GIVING US ORDERS!! WE'RE IN AN EQUAL ALLIANCE, HI-YAH!!" while others shout, "ZORO AND SANJI ARE BUSY TAKIN' ON THE ALL-STARS!!" and "DON'T LET THEM THROUGH!!" amid heavy combat.

The third floor of the castle erupts into chaos as raging flames consume the wooden structures. Voices cry out in panic: "THE FLAMES ARE OUT OF CONTROL!!" "THIS LOOKS BAD!!" "WE GOTTA ESCAPE TO THE LIVE FLOOR!!" A skeletal figure in a top hat and dark coat floats through the smoke, declaring, "I GUESS THIS TECHNICALLY MEANS I'VE BEEN CREMATED!!" and quickly adding, "NO, WAIT, THIS DOESN'T COUNT!!" Nearby, a massive skull-headed warrior screams, "AAAAA AHH!!" On the lower level, fighters clash amid the inferno. One demands, "HOW IS THE BATTLE GOINGI!" Another replies, "NO CLUE, IT'S TOTAL CHAOS OUT THERE!!" A cloaked fighter vows, "I WON'T LET ROBIN-SAN GET BURNED!!" while others shout, "WE CAN'T STAY HERE ANYMORE!!" and "BARON CORPSE!! ARE YOU ALL RIGHTI!"

Flames continue to spread across the third floor as a desperate voice calls, "JINBE-SAN! JINBE-SAN!!" A horned fighter roars amid the blaze while a large figure labeled "KID PIRATES - FOURTH FLOOR" charges forward. The scene shifts to the live floor where enemies pour from the castle gates amid smoke and debris. A voice yells, "THE ENEMY IS POURING OUT OF THE CASTLE!!" and another asks, "AND WHERE'S KAIDOI! IS SOMEONE ELSE KEEPING HIM BUSYI!" "HAS THE FIRE GOTTEN THAT BADI!" On the lower section, combatants clash violently as one commands, "STAND YOUR GROUND!!" while others declare, "AND THE LIVE FLOOR!!" "WE OWN THE CASTLE..." "LET US THROUGH, SAMURAI SCUM!!"

A massive skeletal warrior with horns and a sword looms over the battlefield, bellowing, "FORCE THEM BACK!!" as impact lines and smoke erupt around it. Smaller panels show a figure huffing heavily with motion lines, followed by a ringing arrow streaking through the air. The arrow strikes with explosive force, labeled "RINGING ARROW!!" as a dark impact bursts outward with the sound effect "ゴゴゴゴ..." and the onomatopoeia "パチン!!" The skeletal giant's attack sends debris flying while the arrow's impact creates a bright flash and shockwave across the castle grounds.

Yamato, transformed into a fiery dragon form, soars through the air clutching a kanabo and shouts, "...TO KILL ME!!" while panting heavily. A smaller figure in a mask-like mask leaps nearby as Yamato continues, "HUFF... YOU'RE TRYING..." Kaido's massive face fills the frame, eyes blazing, declaring, "I WAS CAPTIVATED BY ODEN!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH ADMIRING HIMI!" He points accusingly and roars, "THIS ISN'T A FAMILY SQUABBLE. YOU SHOULD'VE BEEN PREPARED FOR WAR. CARRYING ODEN'S NAME IS A HEAVY BURDEN. I'M NOT PLAYING AROUND, YAMATO!!" Someone else mutters, "THAT'S RIGHT."

A giant skull structure looms over a chaotic festival scene as a voice yells, "KAIDO-SAN!! THE ONI PRINCESS HAS BEEN THROWING A NONSTOP TANTRUM FOR A WEEK!!" Yamato, chained and battered, screams desperately, "MY NAME IS ODEN!!" Kaido's furious face appears as he growls, "KOZUKI ODEN!! I'M ODEN!!" A terrified woman with goggles cries out, "LET ME OUT OF THESE CHAINS, DADDY!!" Yamato, now in a dark coat and carrying a massive club, stands over fallen enemies and asks, "DO THISI" while panting, "MY NAME IS... HUFF. HUFF." Kaido's voice echoes, "YAMATO... DID YOU..." and another voice shouts, "ODEN!!"

A young Yamato with horns and pigtails sits chained inside a cave, clutching a bento box and pleading, "I'M GOING TO STARVE TO DEATH! PLEASE FEED ME..." Kaido's silhouette looms as he replies, "I DON'T KNOW. THEY ALL JUST FELL DOWN." Yamato's eyes widen in shock, shouting, "WHAAAAAT!!" Kaido continues, "...IF YOU DID DIE, YAMATO. BUT IF YOU INSIST ON CALLING YOURSELF ODEN, IT'D BE BETTER... CONQUEROR'S HAKI, HUHI THAT'S PROMISING..." Yamato screams in panic, "WAAAAAH!! WAIT!! HOW CAN YOU LEAVE ME IN A PLACE LIKE THISI!" Kaido answers coldly, "WHATI! A MONTHI! I WON'T SURVIVE THAT LONG!! I'LL GIVE YOU A MONTH TO COOL OFF AND RECONSIDER THINGS IN THIS CAVE."

Kaido stands atop a rocky outcrop addressing prisoners below, declaring, "IF YOU HAVE A CHANGE OF HEART, JUST SHOUT SO YOUR VOICES CARRY THROUGH THE HOLE IN THE CEILING! I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE WANO'S GREAT MASTER SWORDSMEN SERVE UNDER ME. THE SAME GOES FOR THE REST OF YOU!!" Swords are thrust into the ground as voices react, "HUHI!" and discuss, "I'M SURE YOU'LL BE NEEDING THESE TO SETTLE WHO GETS IT. ONE PORTION SHOULD BE ENOUGH. I SUPPOSE WE CAN LEAVE YOU SOME... HOW MANY DAYS HAS IT BEEN SINCE YOU'VE ALL EATENI" Kaido's face appears again, saying, "BUT I THOUGHT YOU WERE ODENI I'LL BE KILLED!! FOR BEING YOUR CHILD!! THEY'RE DEFINITELY GOING TO RESENT ME... FATHER!!"

Massive swords frame a cave meal tray holding fish, rice, and sake. A small horned figure sits before it and declares, "BUT I'M ALSO KAIDO'S SON, THE MAN WHO KILLED ODEN. I CALL MYSELF ODEN." Startled samurai react with "...!!!" and "!!". A horned brute growls "...IN A SCRAMBLE FOR THAT BOWL OF RICEI" while another wonders "DOES FATHER EXPECT THEM TO KILL EACH OTHER...". The horned girl with pigtails sweats, thinking "THESE SAMURAI MUST HATE ME FOR THAT!". A terrified face screams "THEY'RE BOUND TO KILL ME FIRST!!" as swords clash with "ガッ！" and "ビリッ！！", ending on a hesitant "BUT... BUT...".

A hand offers the tray: "PLEASE EAT." The small horned figure replies "HUHI". The seated samurai says "...DO NOT GET HUNGRY." while the figure reacts "HUHI REALLYI!". The horned girl devours rice with "DRIP DRIP" sounds and frantic "もぐもぐ" chewing. Samurai comment "THEY REALLY NEVER GET HUNGRYI!" and "SAMURAI ARE AMAZING." The small figure cries out "SAMURAI... BUT I'M......STARVING!!" as the brute watches.

The horned girl clutches the empty bowl, tears streaming, vowing "I'LL REMEMBER THIS BOWL... FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!! THANK YOU, SAMURAI!!". A sword slices with "SLICE". The small figure sits alone as samurai ask "EVEN IF I GET HUNGRYI CAN I BECOME A SAMURAI... HEY... I...". One samurai muses "HUH, HOW IS A DISGRACED SAMURAI MEANT TO INTRODUCE HIMSELFI I'M... NOBODY IMPORTANT..." while another inquires "WHO ARE YOU, SAMURAI-SANI" and "THAT MAN CAPTIVATED ALL OF US TOO... I HEARD YOU EARLIER. YOU WANT TO BE KOZUKI ODEN, RIGHTI WERE YOU HIS FRIENDI". The girl turns toward the speaker with "HEHE!".

The horned girl holds up a logbook titled "あがんん海遊記", exclaiming "IS THAT ODEN'S NAVIGATION LOGI! I WANT TO READ THIS LOGBOOK, BUT THERE ARE LOTS OF BIG WORDS." Close-ups show her sparkling eyes and the small figure's reaction. The samurai states "NO... WHEN THE TIME COMES, I'LL FIGHT FOR WANO... THEN I'LL GO OUT TO SEA... AND GET MUCH... MUCH... STRONGER!". Narration notes "IT'S BEEN 10 DAYS..." and "YAMATO, WOULD YOUR FATHER REALLY... LEAVE HIS CHILD TO DIE...I" as the group sits in the cave. A monstrous face looms with "ぎゃはははは" laughter.

Two figures stand in the aftermath of battle. The horned masked man growls, "AFTER ALL, 20 YEARS......IS A LITTLE TOO LONG FOR US TO WAIT." The mustached samurai replies, "THAT'S THE SPIRIT. IN THAT CASE... WE CAN MAKE OUR CONTRIBUTION TO THAT FUTURE BATTLE BY ENSURING YOUR SURVIVAL..." Below, an explosion erupts as small figures clash violently. Voices shout, "WE CANNOT JUST SIT HERE AND STARVE LIKE STRAY DOGS!! WE NEVER HAD ANY INTENTION OF YIELDING!!" A masked girl cries out desperately, "SAMURAI-SAN!! IF YOU DO THIS, MY FATHER WILL--" A close-up shows gritted teeth and shock: "...!!! EVEN I..." In the distance, panicked onlookers yell, "THE SAMURAI HAVE BROKEN OUT OF AMANO-WATO!! KAIDO-SAMA!!!"

A massive clash erupts as Kaido's dragon form collides with a spiked club wielder. "THUNDER BAGUA!!" The impact creates a clash of black lightning. Kaido roars about people who believed in him and questions what right anyone has "...TO STEAL MY FREEDOMI!" and "...TO STEAL WANO'S FREEDOMI!" The narration notes, "THERE ARE NO EASY ANSWERS IN THIS WORLD." Kaido glares and snaps, "YOU IMMATURE BRAT!!" The page ends with the chapter title and "ONE PIECE...CH.1024 END".
