The Going Merry sails towards a large island in the distance. The island features massive, round mountains covered in spikes, resembling giant cacti. Someone shouts, "IT'S AN ISLAND!" Another voice adds, "I SEE GIANT CACTI!" Page 12: The crew gazes at the approaching island. Sanji says, "SO THIS IS WHISKEY PEAK!" Usopp, crying tears of relief, exclaims, "THANK GOD WE'VE ARRIVED ALIVE!" Luffy sits happily on the Merry's figurehead. Suddenly, Mr. 9 and Miss Wednesday leap over the ship's railing. "NOW THEN, WE ASK YOU PLEASE DROP US OFF HERE!" "THANK YOU FOR TAKING US HERE, MY HONEYS!" "IF FATE WILLS IT, THEN LET US MEET AGAIN!" They splash into the water and swim rapidly towards the island. Mr. 9 calls back, "BYE BYE BABY!" Nami watches them go, confused, "HUH?" Usopp exclaims, "JUMP!" Page 13: The Going Merry approaches the island's coast. Usopp looks nervous, "T-THERE WOULDN'T BE ANY MONSTERS ON THIS ISLAND NOW, RIGHT...!?" Sanji replies calmly, "CONSIDERING THIS PLACE IS GRAND LINE AND ALL, I'D SAY THERE IS A GOOD POSSIBILITY." Luffy laughs, "WELL, WE CAN ALWAYS RUN AWAY IF THAT'S THE CASE." Nami interrupts, "WAIT JUST A SECOND! DON'T FORGET THAT WE HAVE TO STAY ON THIS ISLAND FOR A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME." Usopp asks, "WHY?" Nami explains, holding up her wrist to show the log pose. "THIS LOG POSE HAS TO RECORD THIS ISLAND'S MAGNETIC FIELD, BEFORE WE CAN MOVE ON TO THE NEXT ISLAND! AND THE RECORDING TIME VARIES FOR EACH ISLAND. THERE'RE SOME ISLANDS THAT TAKE ONLY A FEW HOURS TO RECORD, WHILE SOME TAKE EVEN A FEW DAYS."
