An Evidence Chip can support one theory and challenge another. Add both FOR and AGAINST evidence when each side changes how the claim should be judged.
Vote on evidence strength
Judge whether the source actually changes the argument. A theory you like can rely on weak evidence, while a theory you dislike can still cite a strong source.
Keep discussions contextual
Respond to the thesis, the evidence, or the interpretation in front of you. Challenge claims directly, cite sources when possible, and do not turn disagreement into an attack on the author.
Respect spoilers and status changes
Follow spoiler controls and treat active, dormant, superseded, confirmed, and debunked theories according to their current evidence state.
Moderate with cited reasons
Explain theory status changes, source corrections, and content flags with a specific reason. Moderation should leave a trace readers can understand.
