Open theory: CHURCHWARD'S "SACRED SYMBOLS OF MU" REVEALS THE GREAT KINGDOM'S NAME, THE "D" MYSTERY, AND THE END OF ONE PIECE

CHURCHWARD'S "SACRED SYMBOLS OF MU" REVEALS THE GREAT KINGDOM'S NAME, THE "D" MYSTERY, AND THE END OF ONE PIECE

It is highly likely that Oda drew inspiration from Churchward's theories of a lost pacific motherland ("Mu") to construct the void century, the mystery of the "D" and the true nature of Nika.

Open theory: The One Piece Treasure is the Sun of the Dawn that can grow the trees that Spawn Devil Fruits from people's imagination

The One Piece Treasure is the Sun of the Dawn that can grow the trees that Spawn Devil Fruits from people's imagination

Ever since one piece came out The question everyone asks is " What is the Treasure at the end of the story on Laugh Tale" People haven't gotten much besides trying to formulate an answer that the readers themselves would desire. "The Truth of the void century", "The end of the Red-line and Grand-line into the all Blue", "End of the world government" have been the most popular theories from the fans themselves but Oda wouldn't have this thing still be a mystery 29 years later if it was that easy. But with the final saga and the reveal in egghead of "Devils fruits are made from peoples dreams" also added a new thing to answer that most people ignored. "If Devil Fruits are dreams then why don't we see anymore of them" My theory is that Devil Fruits and the powers of dreams themselves don't just need peoples dreams to manifest into reality. They need a power source. The Treasure that Joy-boy Locked away at Laugh Tale, Roger laughed at, and what Vegapunk thought the future would be shaped by whoever claimed it is "The Sun" That returns at the end of the third world with the Dawn. It will be what Luffy uses to accomplish his dream. It will be the signify that the cycle of Tyranny and chaos of the last 3 worlds came to an end. It not only has the power to allow New Devil fruits to Spawn after it's unleashed but also allow the technology that the ancient Kingdom used to be powered once again and recreate the world Vegapunk hoped for humanity. The final fight of this story will Luffy making sure that BB doesn't use the sun to take over the world but also allow him to achieve his dream. To have a party with the entire world.

Open theory: Mythical Hito Hito no Mi: Model Zaza

Mythical Hito Hito no Mi: Model Zaza

Ever since the reveal of Luffys fruit as the Hito Hito no Mi: Model Nika, people have been speculating about the other gods, which were mentioned during the Skypiea arc. In Elbaf, Killingham revealed his nightmare version of the Rain God Zaza. It may seem repetitive, but I think the original fruit name was hidden as well. Not by the World Government, but by its direct opposition. The Davy Clan.

Open theory: Joyboy's Downfall was the Nika Devil Fruit

@celestialsucculent68% confidence

Joyboy's Downfall was the Nika Devil Fruit

Imu does not act like a man who defeated Joyboy. Even centuries later, JB's haki is enough to make Imu tremble and clutch at his emotional support butterflies. If Imu did not defeat Joyboy outright, then how exactly did JB lose? How did his crew fail him?

Open theory: THE FAILED WORLD THEORY

@enroyred65% confidence

THE FAILED WORLD THEORY

What if the Void Century wasn’t simply the story of Joy Boy versus Imu, but the aftermath of a world-changing failure? The Harley describes three Worlds: two end in separation, while the Third promises that “they will surely meet.” Joy Boy failed. Roger arrived “too early.” Rocks believed he could overthrow Imu, yet was also too early. Meanwhile, Lily preserved the truth, the Ancient Weapons survived, Poseidon was born eight centuries later, and Loki now carries the power of the ancient Warrior God who once fought the Sun God. What if these aren’t separate mysteries? What if history keeps recreating the same failed configuration and Luffy’s generation is the first to bring its missing pieces together?

Open theory: Ussop gets killed by Imu in his future sight

@derboppler76% confidence

Ussop gets killed by Imu in his future sight

The big Ussop moment coming up in Elbaf will be him standing up to Imu to protect and motivate Luffy when he is defeated on the ground, similar to Enies Lobby. But this time he will be right in front of the villain, not at a safe distance. Ussop will then develop future sight, seeing his own death, but deciding not to back down and dying a brave warrior of the sea. But before he dies, it turns out that Luffy had the same vision of the future and managed to get up and drive Imu away with a final attack, similar to jet gatling.

Open theory: Lineage Factor is the sole power system of One Piece and Imu's real weapon

@hiraeth87% confidence

Lineage Factor is the sole power system of One Piece and Imu's real weapon

All races, devil fruits and *all* branches of haki are encompassed under the umbrella of lineage factor. The factor appealing to most would be the implication that conquerors haki is also passed through genetics, like armament and observation. Gaining the ability to manipulate lineage factor is said to be "stepping into the realm of God". God, Imu, may have abilities attributed to the changing of his own/others lineage factors to gain stronger bodies and abilities.

Open theory: Joy Boy didn't lose the Ancient Kingdom's greatest power. He gave it up.

@enroyred58% confidence

Joy Boy didn't lose the Ancient Kingdom's greatest power. He gave it up.

The Ancient Kingdom's greatest asset may have been a unique energy source that powered its otherwise impossible technology. Vegapunk cannot reproduce the original Ancient Energy and instead creates the Mother Flame, an incomplete modern substitute. Joy Boy may have recognized at the end of the Void Century that leaving the original energy intact would allow the catastrophe to continue, so he deliberately destroyed or sealed the source while preserving selected pieces of the ancient system for the future. This would explain why Emet, the Ancient Weapons, the Poneglyphs and other remnants survived while the Ancient Kingdom's original technological power did not. Eight hundred years later, Vegapunk unintentionally recreates a weaker substitute, allowing Imu to reactivate an Ancient Weapon and reproduce a small-scale version of the world-changing destruction that occurred during the Void Century. The final conflict may therefore be a struggle over whether the lost power should be recovered, controlled, possessed, or finally left free.

Open theory: The Ancient Kingdom used Noro-Noro no Mi-like rays to create the Poneglyphs

@moat36050% confidence

The Ancient Kingdom used Noro-Noro no Mi-like rays to create the Poneglyphs

The theory posits that the Ancient Kingdom utilized Noro-Noro no Mi-like rays, which function similarly to radiation, to make the Poneglyphs indestructible. This is based on the fruit's ability to slow down objects and accumulate damage, suggesting that a high-half-life version of these rays could explain the Poneglyph
