What LoreSquare is
A fan commentary site about manga: mysteries, theories, clues and chapter notes written by readers and by us. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or licensed by any publisher or creator.
Your account
You need to be at least 13, or older where your country requires it, to make an account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. One person, one account, unless we have agreed otherwise.
What you post stays yours
You keep ownership of what you write. By posting it you let LoreSquare store, display, format, translate and share it on the site, in its apps and in previews of it, for as long as it stays posted. Deleting a post or your account ends that permission, except for copies others have already quoted or that remain in backups for a short time.
Play by the rules
Posts follow the community rules on the Rules page. No harassment, hate, spam, impersonation, malware, illegal content or vote manipulation. Do not scrape the site in bulk or try to break its security. We may remove content or limit accounts that break these terms.
Manga and other people’s work
Quote and cite, do not copy. Upload a single panel only in support of a point you are making, and nothing you have no right to share. How panels are used and how to ask for removal is on the Rights page.
Theories are opinions
Theories, confidence scores, predictions and summaries are fan interpretation and may be wrong. AI writing helpers can make mistakes too; check what they suggest before you publish it under your name.
Paid plans
Some features may be paid. Prices, what is included and the billing period are shown before you pay, and payment is handled by Stripe. You can cancel a subscription at any time; it then runs to the end of the period already paid.
No guarantees
The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and correct, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last twelve months.
Ending things
You can stop using LoreSquare and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and will say why unless the law or safety prevents it.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and a significant change is announced on the site first. Questions go through the Feedback link at the bottom of every page. How we handle your data is on the Privacy page.
