## One Piece Chapter 27, pages 11-12: THE PLOT - Chapter: 27 - Pages: 11-12 - Characters: Usopp, Kaya, guards ### Summary Page 11: Usopp yells with wide eyes, "If you don't leave now! It will be too late!" Kaya stands at the window, her face shadowed and looking down. She says coldly, "Usopp-san! I was wrong about you!" Usopp is taken aback, a small "!" next to him. Down at the front gate, the two guards hear the shouting. One guard looks back and says, "Hey, what's that noise? Go check it out!" The other guard, looking annoyed, replies, "Shit! Its that kid again!" Usopp hears them and looks surprised, "What?!" Kaya looks up, visibly upset with tears in her eyes. "I can't believe you are doing this to get your revenge on Clahador..." A wide shot shows the side of the mansion. Usopp is perched on a tree branch right outside Kaya's second-story window. Kaya continues speaking from the window, "I know he was a bit harsh on you... Talking about your father that way... but..." Page 12: Kaya looks down from her window, her expression a mix of anger and disappointment. She says, "How can you make up lies about him like that? I can't believe you're this kind of a person!" Usopp looks up at her, shocked and sweating. Kaya continues speaking from off-panel, "In the past, I always listened to your lies, and turned them into hopes and dreams. They made my life fill up with happiness." She looks down sadly, adding, "I really liked the lies you made up!" As Usopp listens, looking desperate, Kaya's voice continues, "But... now you're using it for revenge, and using it to harm a good person..." Usopp stammers, "It's... It's not like that..." Kaya, with tears forming in her eyes, shouts, "You're a terrible person!" Usopp yells back frantically, "Listen to me... I'm telling you the truth!"
