Ace, Whitebeard, Impel Down monitor room staff, Blugori prison guards, Impel Down prisoners ### Summary Page 5: In the monitor room, guards try to reconcile the reports. There should be only one escapee, but one officer thinks he saw two shadows, and another reports that in front of mixed residence cell number 10, five Blugori have been beaten. A guard insists there should not be anybody on Level 1 who can take out five Blugori. Meanwhile, Buggy hears Luffy's goal and shouts, "You want to save Ace!?" He tells Luffy to be quiet before they are found, but then admits he knows about Ace. Buggy says he and Ace were drinking buddies for a while, and that unlike Luffy, Ace seems like a good guy. He calls it pure foolishness to lay a hand on one of Whitebeard's guys. The page links Luffy's rescue mission to Buggy's own pirate knowledge of Whitebeard's wrath. Page 6: Luffy tells Buggy he wants to go to Level 5 because that is where Ace is. Buggy reacts in horror and says he is not going somewhere that dangerous. Luffy leaves cheerfully, saying, "Well, see you later! Good luck escaping!" while Buggy silently realizes there is no mistake: escaping alone may be impossible.
