Page 15: Pearl plummets downward, slamming his body and shields directly onto Sanji's back with a devastating impact. The attack text reads "PRESENT!!" and "TARNISHED SILVER..." as he crushes Sanji. The force of the blow creates a massive shockwave that splinters the wooden deck around them. The cooks scream desperately, "SANJI, MOVE! DAMN IT...!" but Sanji remains pinned, crying out in agony, "UGHHH!" A close-up shows Sanji's face contorted in pain, blood dripping from his mouth, as he endures the brutal assault without fighting back. Gin's gun remains firmly pointed at Zeff. Page 16: A wide shot shows the exterior of the Baratie restaurant ship, with the battle taking place on the front deck. Pearl laughs triumphantly, "HAAAHAHAHA! BEHOLD MY IRON WALL!" The cooks are still reeling from Sanji's earlier confession. They ask each other, "TOOK EVERYTHING AWAY FROM THE OWNER...!? JUST WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED, SANJI!?" The scene then transitions to a flashback. A young Sanji's face is shown in shadow, looking up. An off-screen voice asks, "ALL BLUE?" and young Sanji replies simply, "YUP." Page 17: The flashback begins in earnest, set 9 years ago. A narration box establishes the setting: "PASSENGER SHIP ORBIT". The ship is shown sailing on the ocean. Inside the ship's bustling kitchen, a young Sanji, wearing a chef's uniform, is talking excitedly with the older cooks. He asks them, "DON'T YOU KNOW? THAT'S THE NAME OF THE LEGENDARY SEA." One of the cooks laughs and replies, "YOU DUMBHEAD, OF COURSE WE KNOW IT. AS COOKS OF THE SEA, IT'S THE OCEAN THAT WE'VE ALL DREAMED OF." Young Sanji smiles brightly and declares, "YEAH, IT'S AMAZING, RIGHT!? AND I'M GOING TO SEARCH FOR THAT OCEAN AND FIND IT ONE DAY!" A caption identifies him: "PASSENGER SHIP'S COOK IN TRAINING SANJI (9 YEARS AGO)".
