Roger ### Summary Page 8: Marco grabs Squardo and shouts, "Why did you do this!?" Squardo answers, "Shut up!!! You're the ones who forced us into this!!!" He accuses Whitebeard: "You've already made a deal with the Marines, haven't you!? They promised to let your Whitebeard Pirates and Ace live, right!!?" As the Pacifista attack continues behind the allies, the pirates around them reel and ask, "What's the meaning of this!?" Page 9: Squardo shouts that Whitebeard led them into a trap. He says they did not know anything about Ace being Gol D. Roger's son and tells Whitebeard, "You should know the hate I have for Roger!!!" Squardo explains that he was alone because the friends he fought beside for so long were obliterated by Roger. He recalls Whitebeard picking him up and demands, "Why didn't you say anything... about how Ace was Roger's son and you planned on making him the next Pirate King!?" He says Whitebeard betrayed him by pretending to be friendly with Ace even after Ace was captured.
