"By my calculations, the rebel forces should penetrate all the way into the city square in about 20 minutes. Rather than blowing up the royal palace to stop the fighting in such a roundabout way, It's far more expedient to eliminate the ones doing the actual fighting." Vivi screams in despair, "HOW CAN YOU DO SUCH A THING!? Princess! JUST WHAT HAVE MY PEOPLE EVER DONE TO YOU!?" Crocodile simply closes his eyes, annoyed, and mutters, "...What an earsore." Page 12: Crocodile turns his attention to King Cobra, who is lying injured on the ground. "Now then, Mr. Cobra... I have an alternative request for you." Crocodile demands, "Where is the 'Poneglyph?'" Vivi is confused, asking, "The ancient records...!?" Cobra looks up at Crocodile, questioning, "Why would you want to know where that is...!?" Crocodile offers a deal, "If I tell you where it is, will you..." Cobra responds with a weak, "Hm?" Page 13: King Cobra looks defeated and closes his eyes. "Never mind... I will guide you to it." Vivi cries out in distress, "FATHER!" Crocodile laughs triumphantly, "Kuhahaha! The wise-king Cobra lives up to his reputation! You understand your situation quite quickly!" Pell, unable to contain his anger any longer, grips his sword tightly. His face is contorted with rage as he declares, "I CAN NO LONGER, HOLD BACK MY FURY!"
