Ace, Dadan family bandits ### Summary Page 16: Dadan panics when she realizes Garp wants her to take in another child: "You want me to take another one!!? And he's your... your grandson!!?" Garp calmly gives her a choice: "All right... I'll let you choose: go to jail, or look after the kid." He says he has overlooked as many crimes of hers as there are stars in the sky. Dadan protests that they already have a tough enough time with Ace. Just then Ace returns, and young Luffy sees him for the first time. Luffy blurts out, "Geeh!! It's spit!! That's disgusting!! Hey!! Who're you!!?" while the bandits shout, "Ace, you came back!!!" Page 17: Portgas D. Ace is introduced as he was ten years ago, sitting silently with a pipe across his lap and a hard, hostile expression. Garp tells Luffy, "That's Ace. He's three years older than you. You'll be living together from now on, so you better get along!" Luffy, still furious and confused, puffs up and says, "It's settled!!! I'll leave him with you!!!"
