A lookout calls, "A VESSEL IS COMING FROM THE NORTH WEST!!" and a crew member orders, "OKAY!! ATTACK!!". Young Shanks, holding a sword, shouts, "LET'S START THE ACTION!!!". Young Buggy, holding two daggers, looks determined and says, "A VESSEL'S THE SAME AS A TREASURE BOX!! THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO A PIRATE IS HIS LOOT!!". Shanks smiles at him and says, "LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE EXCITED, BUGGY". Buggy replies, "WELL, THAT'S ONE THING... IT'S NOT JUST ONE THING... IT'S EVERYTHING!! TOO NICE FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. YOU AND THIS SHIP'S PIRATES... DON'T TREAT TREASURE SERIOUSLY ENOUGH!! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT A PIRATE REALLY IS!!". Shanks draws his sword with a "ZING!" sound. Page 9: A chaotic battle unfolds on the deck of a ship, with pirates clashing swords and axes amidst shouts of "WAAAAAAAAAAHH...." and "CLASH CLASH!". Young Buggy is seen fighting, yelling "UGGH!!", "EEEEACK!", "HE-YAH!", and "OOO OHT!" as he dodges and strikes. Later, Buggy is shown crouching on the deck, holding a piece of paper. He looks surprised and says, "HUH!? THIS...!! PIRA...". A large panel shows Buggy holding the paper, which is revealed to be a map, with a loud "BAM!!" sound effect. He thinks to himself, "IT WAS A MAP THAT HAD A HUGE AMOUNT OF TREASURE LYING ON THE SEA-BED MARKED ON IT. T...T-T-T...T...! TREASURE MAP...!! I WAS REALLY SHOCKED...!! FIRST TIME SEEING ONE!!".
