Crocodile recalls the phone call, remembering a voice saying, "Hello, this is the shitty restaurant," and his own response, "Would you like to make a reservation?" Realization hits Crocodile, and he shouts, "WHAT!" Mr. 3, oblivious, says, "Denden-mushi call!? I'm afraid I don't follow? I never used the denden-mushi while on Little Garden, you know!"
