Luffy ### Summary Page 21: Nami leans on a table, looking at Luffy who is sitting casually in a chair. She says, "BUT YOU SEEM TO REALLY NEED A NAVIGATOR, SO I'LL CONSIDER IT ON ONE CONDITION." Luffy looks back at her with interest and asks, "REALLY? WHAT'S YOUR CONDITION?" In a close-up, Nami smiles and holds up one finger, saying, "JUST A LITTLE THING. IT'S NOTHING, REALLY. GO WITH ME TO SEE BUGGY." Luffy stands up enthusiastically, cracking his knuckles with "KLAK KLAK" sound effects. He grins widely and agrees, "YOU GOT IT! LET'S GO! WHERE IS THIS BUGGY?" In the background, Nami tells him, "HOLD ON, I HAVE TO GET READY." In the next panel, Nami is holding a coiled rope. Luffy looks at it and asks, "WHAT'S THAT ROPE FOR?" Nami casually replies, "OH, I ALWAYS CARRY A ROPE." The page ends with a close-up of Nami smiling mischievously at Luffy as she asks, "SO, YOU WANT TO BE A PIRATE, DO YOU?" Page 22: A view of the town's empty street leading towards a large building is shown. A voice says, "IT'S JUST AT THE END OF THIS STREET. THAT'S THE TAVERN WHERE THE PIRATES HANG OUT." Luffy and Nami walk down the street together. A large "DA-DOOM" sound effect echoes from the tavern in the distance. Luffy asks, "SO, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO THERE?" On the right side of the page, a small panel shows a close-up of Nami's hands quickly tying the rope with a "FWP" sound as she says, "WELL..." Below that, Luffy looks down in confusion, saying, "HUH?" while Nami continues, "...YOU'LL SEE..." In a large panel taking up the rest of the page, Nami forcefully pulls the rope tight around Luffy with a "SQUEEZE!!" sound effect. She finishes her sentence, "...WHEN WE GET THERE... MR. PIRATE-BREECHES!" Luffy, now completely bound in the rope, falls face-first to the ground with a "FWUMP!!" sound, yelling in shock, "WHAT'RE YOU DOING!?"
