Luffy, Headman, Villagers, Shiruku ### Summary Page 46: Luffy stands on his small boat, looking back at the sinking remains of the pirate ship. He observes, "OH, IT'S SINKING, IT'S SINKING. IT'S A GOOD THING MERUHEN GOU WAS ON THAT SHIP. WE ALMOST SUNK TOGETHER." Back in the village, the townspeople are gathered around a massive pile of recovered treasure chests and giant sacks. One villager notes, "OI, THIS IS MORE THAN WHAT WAS TAKEN FROM OUR TOWN." Another replies, "YEAH... THAT KID SAID IT WOULDN'T FIT ON THE MERUHEN SOMETHING..." The Headman scratches his head, looking utterly confused. He ponders, "THEN!! JUST WHO WAS HE, THAT GUY... NUU? EVEN THOUGH HE CAME IN ON A PIRATE SHIP, HE FOUGHT WITH THE PIRATES AND GAVE US TREASURE..." Looking out towards the sea, another villager reassures him, "WELL, IT'S ALL GOOD IN THE END, HEADMAN. IN ANY CASE WE OWE HIM OUR THANKS." Page 47: Shiruku smiles warmly as she looks out at the ocean, reflecting, "PEACE MAIN, HUH... SO THERE ARE THOSE KIND OF PIRATES TOO." A serene view of the calm sea and clouds follows. Suddenly, a new black sail is unfurled with a loud *BAM*. It bears Gyari's crescent moon Jolly Roger, but a straw hat has been crudely drawn over the skull. Luffy sits in his small boat, which is now equipped with the new sail. He smiles broadly, holding the brim of his hat, and says, "SINCE THE SAILS INCREASED, IT PICKS UP THE WIND A LOT BETTER... PIRATES PIRATES!" As his boat sails away into the distance, Luffy leans back comfortably, sighing, "AHHHH THIS FEELS GOOD... IT'D BE NICE IF THE NEXT ONE IS A PEACE MAIN..."
