## One Piece Chapter 1.1, pages 28-29: Romance Dawn - Chapter: 1.1 - Pages: 28-29 - Characters: Monkey D. Luffy, Shiruku, Mikazuki no Gyari, Headman, Villagers ### Summary Page 28: Shiruku looks at Luffy, still processing the information, and says, "A RUBBER MAN...". Luffy replies, "ANYWAY, I BETTER CATCH THOSE GUYS. IF THEY START DESTROYING THIS TOWN I'LL FEEL BAD AFTERWARDS." Shiruku mutters, "HARD TO BELIEVE...", as Luffy runs off down the street, saying, "I'LL CATCH THEM." Elsewhere, Gyari and his crew are running away, panting heavily. Gyari looks back and yells, "GEH!! HE'S COMING AFTER US...!! DAMN MONSTER!!". Suddenly, Gyari stops, noticing a commotion ahead. "AH? OH, IT'S THAT WEIRD GUY." A cloud of dust and fighting sounds erupt in the street. Gyari watches in confusion, "WAH, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!". The dust clears to reveal the village Headman and the armed villagers cheering victoriously. The Headman declares, "WE CAUGHT HIM! CRESCENT MOON GYARI!!! WE DID IT!!!". However, the person they have tied up tightly with thick rope is actually Luffy. Luffy looks confused, saying, "WHAT". The villagers cheer around him, "WE DID IT!!! WE PROTECTED THE VILLAGE!!". Page 29: The Headman adjusts his glasses, looking smugly at the tied-up Luffy, and says, "I SUPPOSE THERE WAS SOME INNER DISPUTE AMONGST YOUR CREW." A villager yells at Luffy, "DON'T RUN YOUR MOUTH OFF! UNDERSTAND THE POSITION YOU'RE IN!!". Luffy tries to reason with them, "AREN'T YOU MAKING A MISTAKE?". Another villager adds, "IT SEEMS HE UNDERESTIMATED US SINCE THIS IS A SMALL VILLAGE!!". Suddenly, Shiruku runs up, yelling frantically, "HEADMAN!! YOU'RE WRONG! HE'S NOT GYARI!!". She thinks to herself, "I WAS TOO LATE!". Luffy looks nervous, swallowing hard and thinking, "PINCH." Gyari steps forward from behind the villagers, laughing, "THAT'S CORRECT!! I'M GYARI. MY MUSTACHE IS A CRESCENT MOON, RIGHT?". The Headman looks shocked, uttering, "EH". Gyari stands menacingly behind the unsuspecting villagers with his sword drawn, mocking them, "GOOD JOB, IDIOTS!!".
