Luffy, Mikazuki no Gyari, Shiruku, Headman, Shanks, Pirates ### Summary Page 35: Top right panel: A pirate violently throws the tied-up Luffy off the pier. "I'LL KILL YOU!! DOSSEI!!!" Top left panel: Gyari scoffs, "AN ANNOYING BASTARD EVEN TIL DEATH." Shiruku and the Headman watch in shock, "!!!" Middle right panel: Luffy falls through the air towards the water, "DAMN...!!" Middle left panel: As he falls, Luffy cries, tears streaming from his eyes. "EVEN THOUGH IT'S THE HAT I PROMISED TO RETURN...!! HE SMASHED IT!!! I WON'T FORGIVE THAT GUY!!! SMASHING MY TREASURE!!!" A flashback panel shows Shanks smiling warmly, saying, "IT'S MY TREASURED HAT. COME AND RETURN IT SOME DAY." Bottom panel: Luffy hits the water with a large splash. SFX: *SPLASH*. Page 36: The Headman looks down at Shiruku, who is crouched on the ground with a determined expression, and asks, "OI, SHIRUKU, WHAT DO YOU PLAN TO DO!!" Meanwhile, on his ship, Gyari throws his arms up in victory, laughing loudly, "SFX: HA HA HA HA HA". He commands his crew, "SET SAIL!!!" The large pirate ship is then seen sailing away on the calm ocean. Back in the village, the Headman watches nervously, sweating as he says, "THAT SHIRUKU, SHE'S REALLY RISKING IT!!" and "IF THEY NOTICE HER, SHE'LL GET KILLED!" A small bird-like creature nearby chirps, "THAT'S!!". In the water, Shiruku is swimming hard, carrying the unconscious Luffy on her back. She struggles but pushes forward, saying, "HANG ON, IT'S JUST A BIT FARTHER!!" Page 37: On the shore, Shiruku is on her hands and knees, coughing up seawater (SFX: *COUGH COUGH*). Luffy sits up next to her, completely fine, and says, "THANK YOU, I OWE YOU MY LIFE!!" Shiruku, still recovering, asks, "ARE YOU ALL RIGHT?" Luffy immediately looks around and demands, "WHERE IS HE!!?" Shiruku is taken aback, "EH!?" Luffy spots the pirate ship sailing away in the distance and says, "THAT, HUH?" He glares at the ship, declaring, "I WON'T LET YOU ESCAPE...!!" Shiruku yells at him, "IT'S NO USE NOW!! YOU CAN'T REACH THEM." She continues, "UNDERSTAND HOW PRECIOUS SOMETHING YOU TREASURE IS BUT..." and "IF YOU UNDERSTAND, YOU KNOW THERE'S NO WAY I CAN FORGIVE HIM!!" Luffy clenches his teeth, his face full of intense anger, and replies, "IT'S THE SAME...!!!!" Shiruku looks confused, "EH...", as Luffy suddenly dashes away (SFX: *DASH*). Luffy runs to a high vantage point overlooking the sea. A large "SFX: DON!" emphasizes his stance. Shiruku watches him from below as Luffy gauges the distance and says, "OKAY, THIS SEEMS ABOUT RIGHT."
