Luffy, Pirates ### Summary Page 6: A large pirate ship violently crashes into the pier of a coastal village, its bow splintering the wooden docks. Sound effects indicate a "VIOLENT ENTRANCE" and a loud "BAN!!". The ship's sails are full, and a black flag bearing a skull with a crescent moon mustache flies high. In the quiet town, a voice observes, "SEEMS LIKE... A GHOST TOWN". Inside a building, the village Headman peeks out, his heart beating rapidly (SFX: *HEART BEATING*). I THOUGHT HE'D LOOK TOUGHER". Other villagers hide inside their homes, peering anxiously through windows and doors. They murmur among themselves: "HE'S HERE...!!", "THAT'S CRESCENT MOON GYARI!?", "ISN'T CRESCENT MOON KNOWN FOR HIS BEARD?", "I SEE! IT'S TRUE... CRESCENT MOON'S HAT", and "IT MUST BE THAT HAT. I CAN SEE IT ON HIM". Page 7: Standing confidently on the railing of the docked pirate ship, a young man wearing a straw hat looks out toward the village. He casually remarks, "MAH, THERE ARE FOOD STORES," and adds, "FIGHTING PEOPLE MADE ME HUNGRY." A large sound effect "SFX: DON!" emphasizes his presence. Down on the ship's deck behind him, several pirates lie unconscious and defeated, their weapons scattered. One pirate, still conscious but sitting battered on the deck, glares up at the young man and angrily shouts, "BASTARD!!! JUST WHO DO YOU THINK I AM!!! DON'T THINK YOU'LL GET AWAY WITH THIS!!!". The young man in the straw hat glances back over his shoulder with a mildly surprised expression.
