"OH? IT'S A GIRL?" one notes. Another yells down, "HEY! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU? ARE YOU ALMOST DEAD?" The girl, Nami, weakly lifts her head, looking exhausted and desperate. She murmurs, "AHH... AM I DREAMING.....? I ACTUALLY FOUND SOMEONE... IN THIS VAST OCEAN..." She continues her plea, "I DONT KNOW... WHO YOU GUYS ARE... BUT... PLEASE... GIVE ME A CUP OF WATER PLEASE? AND IF IT'S CONVENIENT, PLEASE PROVIDE ME A SMALL PIECE OF BREAD... I... I WAS IN A SHIPWRECK..." She rests her hand on a small treasure chest in her boat and offers, "IF YOU WANT MONEY... I'LL GIVE IT TO YOU... PLEASE... SAVE ME..." The pirates, eyeing the chest with greedy grins, quickly agree. "SURE! WE'LL SAVE YA! BUT, CAN WE SEE THAT TREASURE CHEST FIRST?" Page 11: Nami weakly pushes the small chest forward, saying, "SURE... PLEASE TAKE WHATEVER YOU WANT... BUT PLEASE GIVE ME WATER FIRST..." The pirates eagerly jump down from their ship into Nami's small boat. "WHAT'S YOUR HURRY! LET ME TAKE A LOOK AT THE TREASURE FIRST!" one says, while another adds, "YEA! YEA! WE'LL SAVE YOU, DON'T WORRY!" Suddenly, Nami's demeanor completely changes. She stands up, looking perfectly healthy and flashing a bright, cheerful smile. "SINCE YOU GUYS SEEM TO LIKE IT SO MUCH... HE HE! I'LL GIVE YOU THE BOAT TOO AS A BONUS!" The three pirates look up in shock from the small boat. They realize Nami has somehow boarded their larger pirate ship and is sailing away. One yells, "AH?! THAT WOMAN TOOK OUR TREASURE AND OUR SHIP!" Another, looking into the small chest they just opened, screams, "HEY! THIS CHEST IS EMPTY!!"
