Luffy, Nami ### Summary Page 23: An exterior view of the large tavern building is shown as a loud voice from inside yells, "WHAT!?" Inside, a close-up reveals Captain Buggy's face, looking absolutely furious with veins popping on his forehead. He roars, "YOU LET THAT THIEF GET AWAY!? YOU'RE TELLING ME A LITTLE TART OUTRAN THREE OF MY BEST MEN!?" Three of Buggy's pirate crewmen are kneeling on the floor, sweating and pleading for their lives. One of them cries, "A THOUSAND PARDONS, CAP'N BUGGY!" Another tries to explain, "BUT HER BOSS, THE GUY IN THE STRAW HAT, WAS REALLY STRONG!" In the final panel, Buggy's face is shown in an extreme, terrifying close-up as he screams, "FOR THIS YOU DIE!!" The three pirates scream in terror, "AAAAAAH!!!" with a large "GULP!!!" sound effect hovering over them as they face their captain's wrath. Page 24: A pirate runs frantically toward Captain Buggy, calling out, "CAP'N BUGGY!!" Buggy turns in surprise, asking, "EH!? WHAT IS IT!?" The sweating pirate points back toward the entrance and reports, "IT'S THE MAP-STEALER... SHE JUST WALKED IN THE DOOR..." Buggy's expression turns to a wicked grin as he commands, "GOOD! BRING HER HERE!!" Sitting back on his throne, Buggy ponders with a "HMM..." while the pirate stammers, "I MEAN... BELAY THAT! WHAT'S HER GAME!? WHY'D SHE COME BACK!?" Another crewmate shrugs, "BEATS ME, BUT SHE'S HERE." Buggy reiterates, "VERY WELL! BRING HER TO ME!" Suddenly, another pirate with a checkered bandana points frantically, yelling, "C-CAP'N BUGGY! IT'S HIM! SHE'S WITH HIM!" A flashback panel shows Luffy screaming as he falls through the air, as the pirate exclaims, "HE'S THE GUY WHO FELL OUT OF THE SKY!!" Page 25: Nami walks into the pirate stronghold, dragging a heavily bound Luffy behind her by a thick rope. Luffy hits the ground with a loud "SPLUMP!!" and an "OOF!" as the surrounding pirates watch in shock. Nami approaches Buggy, who is seated on his throne under a canopy. She holds up a bottle in one hand and the rolled-up map in the other, announcing, "CAPTAIN BUGGY! I'VE CAPTURED THE THIEF! AND HERE'S YOUR MAP!" Buggy looks down at her in surprise. On the floor, the tied-up Luffy yells angrily at Nami, "HEY! YOU TRICKED ME!" Nami simply looks back at him and playfully sticks her tongue out. Buggy leans forward, eyeing Nami suspiciously. "HMM... YOU'RE RETURNING THE MAP?" A close-up of Buggy's face shows his skeptical expression as he asks, "WHAT'S ALL THIS ABOUT?"
