They say their hopes are revived because their savior, Captain Buggy, went along like it was nothing. Buggy, however, laughs privately that of course it is safer to be with two Shichibukai idiots than sitting around waiting for Magellan to come. The Marines on the distant ships spot the escaping group, and someone shouts, "They've spotted us!!!" Page 10: The Marine battleships open fire, but the raft dodges quickly. Marines shout that Jimbei is no ordinary fishman and call him "Jimbei, the Knight of the Sea." Jimbei says that as long as they get him to a ship, the fleet is done for, then tells the others, "I'll fire you onto the ship's deck. Hold on tight." Buggy panics and asks what Jimbei is saying, but Jimbei tells him to shut up. He uses Fishman Jujutsu, "Mizu-Gokoro," preparing to manipulate the sea itself.
