Luffy, Helmeppo, Marines, Morgan ### Summary Page 5: Koby continues explaining the situation to Zoro, revealing Helmeppo's deception. 'He never intended to keep his promise! Because he was toying with you!!' A flashback panel shows Luffy punching Helmeppo in the face. Koby adds, 'That's why Luffy-san punched him on your behalf...!!!' Zoro is stunned, his eyes widening as he asks, 'Wh... what did you just say...?!!!' Koby, sweating and desperate, pleads with Zoro: 'The Marines will never let the two of you off! Please!! After I set you free, please help rescue Luffy-san!! Luffy-san is very strong!! As long as you two join forces, you all will definitely be able to escape this town!! Definitely!!' Zoro looks down, conflicted, and replies, 'I will not force you to become a pirate, however, he's my savior!!' Page 6: Suddenly, two Marines rush up behind Koby, aiming their rifles at him and Zoro. One of them shouts, 'That's enough!! The two of you who have betrayed Captain Morgan... Die here!!!' Koby screams in terror, while Zoro glares fiercely at the Marines, sweating but unable to move. Meanwhile, inside the Marine base, Luffy bursts into a lavishly decorated room, still dragging the unconscious Helmeppo. He looks around and spots a sword stand holding three katanas in front of a suit of armor. Luffy grins and says, 'Alright!! Found the katana!! Is this the room?' Page 7: Luffy approaches the sword stand and looks at the three katanas. He turns to Helmeppo, who is slumped against the wall with a bruised face and foaming at the mouth, and asks, 'Oi! Which one belongs to Zoro? But there are three katanas here..' Realizing Helmeppo is out cold, Luffy says, 'What's wrong? Did you faint?' Luffy then glances out the nearby window and notices something outside. 'What's happening at the execution grounds...?' he wonders. He looks closer and gasps, 'Coby!' Down in the courtyard, Captain Morgan has arrived with a squad of Marines, surrounding Zoro and Koby. Morgan, with his massive axe-hand, looms over them and says, 'How interesting... The three of you are planning to cause political upheaval?' He then orders his men, 'Surround the base!! Don't let the guy with the straw hat escape!!!'
