Luffy, Shiruku, Mikazuki no Gyari, Headman, Villagers, Pirates ### Summary Page 29: The Headman adjusts his glasses, looking smugly at the tied-up Luffy, and says, "I SUPPOSE THERE WAS SOME INNER DISPUTE AMONGST YOUR CREW." A villager yells at Luffy, "DON'T RUN YOUR MOUTH OFF! UNDERSTAND THE POSITION YOU'RE IN!!". Luffy tries to reason with them, "AREN'T YOU MAKING A MISTAKE?". Another villager adds, "IT SEEMS HE UNDERESTIMATED US SINCE THIS IS A SMALL VILLAGE!!". Suddenly, Shiruku runs up, yelling frantically, "HEADMAN!! YOU'RE WRONG! HE'S NOT GYARI!!". She thinks to herself, "I WAS TOO LATE!". Luffy looks nervous, swallowing hard and thinking, "PINCH." Gyari steps forward from behind the villagers, laughing, "THAT'S CORRECT!! I'M GYARI. MY MUSTACHE IS A CRESCENT MOON, RIGHT?". The Headman looks shocked, uttering, "EH". Gyari stands menacingly behind the unsuspecting villagers with his sword drawn, mocking them, "GOOD JOB, IDIOTS!!". Page 30: Top panel: Shiruku lies face down on the ground, battered and bruised. A pirate stands over her holding a club, while Gyari laughs in the background. Gyari taunts, "STILL PLAN ON FIGHTING?" Shiruku groans, "UH". Middle panel: The village Headman yells in panic, "STOP ALREADY, SHIRUKU!!" Shiruku looks up, her face scraped, gritting her teeth, "......!!" Bottom panel: Shiruku stands back up, clutching her sword, facing Gyari and his crew. She argues with the Headman, "BUT!!...IF WE HAND OVER OUR VALUABLES NOW, THIS VILLAGE WILL START TO BECOME EASY PREY FOR PIRATES AGAIN!!" In the foreground, Luffy sits tied up with rope, watching the scene. The Headman and other villagers stand behind Shiruku, looking worried. Page 31: Top right panel: The Headman tries to reason with Shiruku, "WE CAN'T... SACRIFICE OUR LIVES.... THESE AREN'T OPPONENTS WE CAN MATCH." Bottom left panel: Gyari furiously yells at Luffy, "DAMN RUBBER BASTARD!!!" with a large SFX: UGAAH!!. Luffy sits calmly, "AHHH, THAT'S SURPRISED ME." Small text near Luffy reads "*sit* Though it didn't hurt. Since I'm rubber."
