From the dust cloud emerges an old man with a very long mustache, who had apparently been on top of the bamboo tree. He says, "I split a bamboo tree in half, And out came a spirit.* *refers to Tale of the Bamboo Cutter HUFF... HUFF..." Page 18: Back at the Going Merry, Nami, Sanji, Robin, and Zoro are confronted by a massive pirate ship that has pulled up alongside them. Nami asks, "What're they planning...!?" Sanji challenges them, "If you want a fight, then come down here and get some!" Zoro demands, "Who the hell are you!?" Zoro yells, "COME DOWN THIS INSTANT! I'LL TAKE ANY OF YOU ON!" Sanji notices, "Confined!" Nami realizes, "Our ship's been..." The Going Merry is surrounded by large wooden structures. On the shore, three figures stand before them: Foxy, Porche, and Hamburg. Foxy announces, "WE ARE THE FOXY PIRATES. DON'T GET HASTY. WHAT WE SEEK... IS A MATCH."
