The scene shifts to a lavish room inside a castle, where Dalton, Chess, and Kuromarimo are seated. Kuromarimo asks, "WHAT'S THE MATTER, DALTON?" Chess notes, "YOU'VE BEEN ACTING STRANGE EVER SINCE THE REVERIE." A translator's note explains that Reverie can alternatively be read as "World Council" in kanji. Dalton, identified as the Captain of Drum Kingdom's Royal Guards, looks troubled. He says, "CHESS... KUROMARIMO... WILL THIS KINGDOM EVER RETURN TO ITS FORMER DAYS...?
