## One Piece Chapter 43, pages 8-9: SANJI ENTERS - Chapter: 43 - Pages: 8-9 - Characters: Usopp, Roronoa Zoro, Luffy, Nami, Johnny, Yosaku ### Summary Page 8: As the cannon fires, Usopp screams in terror, "HE FIRED!" Zoro yells, "LUFFY, WHAT'RE YOU DOING!?" Luffy runs to the front of the ship, inhaling deeply. He shouts, "LEAVE IT TO ME! GOMU GOMU NO... BALLOON!!!" Luffy inflates his torso to a massive size just as the cannonball hits him. The cannonball sinks into his rubbery stomach and then bounces right back. Luffy yells, "YOU CAN HAVE YOUR CANNONBALL BACK!" The crew and the Marines watch in absolute shock. Exclamations of "WHA!?", "THE HELL!?", and "!!?" fill the air as the cannonball flies back. Page 9: The cannonball bounces off Luffy's inflated stomach, but his aim is off. Instead of hitting the Marine ship, the cannonball flies directly toward the Baratie. Zoro yells angrily, "JUST WHO ARE YOU GIVING IT TO, YOU DUMBASS!?" The cannonball crashes into the roof of the Baratie, causing a large explosion and sending debris flying. Luffy deflates and falls onto his back, looking horrified at what he's done. Zoro stares in shock, his jaw dropping. Nami facepalms in exasperation, groaning, "UGH..."
