Corbo behind Windmill Village, Garp drags a young Luffy by the face while Luffy screams, "Owowowow!! Damn it, I'm rubber, why does it hurt!? Lemme go, Grampa!!" Garp scolds him, "You didn't just eat a Devil Fruit; now you've got that stupid mouth as well!!" Luffy declares, "What do you mean, 'Pirate King'!? Come on, Grampa. I'm going to become the Pirate King!!" Garp answers by striking him and roaring that this is his fault for leaving Luffy in that laid-back Windmill Village, and that Luffy and Ace are going to become the strongest Marines. Page 15: Garp arrives at the Mt. Corbo mountain bandits' hideout and punches the door, shouting, "Dadan!! Get out here!!!" Curly Dadan appears with her gang, shocked to see him: "G-Garp!! Come on, give me a break already!!" She complains that Ace is already ten years old and they will not be able to handle him much longer, telling Garp to take him back.
