The crew continues to scream, "AGHHHHHHHH!" "AHHHHHHH!" Luffy manages to grab onto the outside of the whale's mouth, hanging on for dear life. "I AIN'T GONNA DIE HERE!" he yells. However, he loses his grip and slips. "AHH! I'M GONNA FALL!" he cries as he tumbles. The whale slams its massive jaws shut with a loud "BAKUN", completely swallowing the ship and the rest of the crew. Page 12: Luffy is sitting on top of the whale's massive back, panting heavily. "HUFF... HUFF HUFF," he breathes. He looks around at the empty sea. "EVERYONE WAS SWALLOWED UP. WHAT DO I DO NOW?" he wonders. He stands up and starts furiously stomping and punching the whale's back. "HEY YOU! GIVE ME MY FRIENDS BACK! COUGH 'EM UP!" he yells. Page 13: Luffy continues to yell at the whale, "I SAID WAIT! GIVE ME BACK MY CREWMATES! WE WERE JUST ABOUT TO START OUR GRAND ADVENTURE! THEY'RE MY IMPORTANT FRIENDS!" He suddenly notices something strange on the whale's back. "HUH?" he says, looking closer. It's a metal trapdoor with a handle. "DAMN IT! PLANNING TO DIVE UNDER THE SEA!? WAIT!" he yells as the whale begins to submerge. As the whale dives beneath the waves, a voice from inside asks, "WHAT DO YOU MAKE OF THIS?"
