Whitebeard sees it and realizes Oden has already attached himself to the ship. Oden calls from the water, "Whitebeard!!" and shouts, "No, I knew you were up to something, Lord Oden!! But I am going to stop you!!" Page 5: Oden hangs from the ship's chain as it races away from Wano. His retainers scream, "Oden!!" and he answers with desperate joy: "Please let me join you!! Whitebeard tells Marco not to worry about the others and orders, "Pull up the guy that's holding him back. And only that guy...!!" Marco obeys, pulling Izo aboard while Oden remains in the raging water. Whitebeard says Oden will hopefully float back to shore quietly.
